My mother moved into Allisonville Meadows Assisted Living. The place is well-laid out, it has nice floor plans, it has a good cafeteria food facility, and the ability for the folks to either eat there, or in their own little apartments. The staff has been very attentive and very helpful, and my mother is now adapting, and enjoying her new environment. Overall, their programs, activities, the layout of the facility, and the staff have been outstanding. They have different craft activities, they have a vehicle that will take them out on Wednesdays to do different errands they want to do, they have church activities that come in, they have salon onsite, they have a physician on staff, and a specialist that come in for various things that someone might want. Theyre willing to do whatever level of assistance in maintaining your apartment, whether cleaning, laundry, and they help manage the medicines so she doesnt forget or mistake her medicines. They have an associate nursing facility next door, and as the care progresses, if she needs to, she can move to the nursing care facility.

My mother has moved into Allisonville Meadows. It seems fine so far. There's a lot of staff around. They seem friendly and confident. It's a large complex with five hallways full of residents. She's only been there three weeks. She likes the food and there seems to be a lot to do there.

I had already become familiar with Allisonville Meadows Assisted Living because a friend of mine was there for several months. I visited her there; she liked it very much, and she liked the people there. They were very kind to her. When she had to be moved to a different facility, they had a party for her. They were just very nice. When I took the tour, I liked the spaciousness of the units and the decor was traditional but fine and looked very well kept. The people that I met were very nice. I also had an opportunity to look into one that was occupied, which was a 1-bedroom unit that I had not seen before. It seemed to meet my expectations. The staff I met was very helpful. She offered to be of help in the future if I had other questions. They regularly have movies, they have a bridge group, and they provide tours to other places outside of the campus. I liked that it's in the neighborhood basically of where I live and spend most of my time.

Allisonville Meadows was a very lovely, open facility. It had wide hallways and was well-lit. The activity areas were easy to walk in and walk out of. It was a very inviting facility. The staff seemed very nice, very accommodating, and very caring. I visited two times, and the residents seemed happy. I was really impressed with their programming and what they had to offer the residents.

Allisonville Meadows is nice. This was actually our first choice for our mom, but we chose another facility closer to our home. They had a lot of activities. The rooms were spacious and clean. It was actually a very new facility with a really nice dining room and a pretty caring staff.

We came to Allisonville in the midst of transition. I didn’t feel the staff really knew a lot about the facility. It was relatively new, but it seemed like a real nursing home, and I didn’t like the feel of it. I didn’t feel like they have adequate staff.

Overall, they have a lot of staff issues and a lot of turn-over, and not all the staff is friendly. The dining area is not very good and poorly run. But when Allisonville Meadows first opened, and we first moved in, I would have given them a four or a five, but they have just really gone downhill in two years. My mother has lived there for two years, and they were fine then. Plus, her needs changed as well. When we moved them in there, my father was also living and in the process of dying, and it was actually perfect for what we needed at that time. They had just opened, and it was just great. As they become full-occupancy, they do not have enough staff on hand to handle the facility.

My mom was a resident of Allisonville Meadows. The atmosphere is very nice, everything is brightly lit, and the people are always friendly. The staff there was very nice and helpful as could be. They just didn’t have the capacity to give my mom extra care. They were very attentive while she was there. The rooms were very nice. The dining room was nice, but my mom did fuss about the food a lot. My mom is kind of a hermit, and they had a lot of trouble getting her out to do the activities they have available.

Allisonville Meadows was new, very nice, and everybody was very nice. My mother-in-law felt that it was too much like a hotel. It was too nice and too formal for her, but that was just her. The other thing that I was concerned about because she doesn't need assisted living -- and I made that clear -- they kept saying, "Well, just go ahead and apply for it, get her all set up," and I just felt like they were a little insistent on it being assisted. That was why it didn't work out for us, but we were very happy with what we saw.

Allisonville Meadows was the one that met the needs for my relative. It was extremely new, very open, light, and airy. We really liked it a lot. The person that accommodated us was fantastic, informative, and helpful. We liked the rooms very much. The living environment was exceptional. They had so many activities that were available. They had exercise equipment and places for people to gather and an outdoor patio. It had a lot of variety.

Wow! You will not be disappointed if you choose Allisonville Meadows Assisted Living. It is a beautiful, well-equipped facility. The staff, from the director to the maintenance man, have gone out of their way to provide exceptional care to my parents. Not only does the nursing team provide excellent physical care to mom and dad, they are very supportive emotionally with them. My husband and I feel that the entire staff really cares about my parents' well-being (and ours!). You won't be disappointed if you choose Allisonville Meadows Assisted Living.

We visited Allisonville Meadows also. It was very nice and new. It was bright, and everything was in great order. I thought their price was very reasonable. The staff had a good work attitude. They were also helpful. The rooms were adequate and nicely arranged.

Allisonville Meadows is a brand new place. It's absolutely beautiful. But for my mother and her mental state right now, it's too big and too scary for her. It seemed like a very nice place. The food was great and the dining area was very nice. They have the regular and typical activities that most places do.

I had a tour at Allisonville Meadows and it’s a beautiful facility. When I visited there, there was no staff. The rooms were very nice with the way the area was arranged. They have a private room and they also have companion room. They offer transportation and once a week they would go out and have activities outside.

My mom had only been in Allisonville Meadows for three days. This one just ticked all the right boxes. It seems to be well organized and well run. There's plenty of staff to resident ratio.

I was very happy with the newness and cleanliness of allison meadows. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and seemed to really put care and patient safety first. The meals are hot and cooked by a real chef. The clients that live and or stay at this facility where encouraged to be social and participate in as many activities they are able to. The rooms where clean, but looked very institutional instead of warm and inviting. My guess is that they are going for a modern look. I don't believe the elderly population really will notice the modern art and contemporary furniture. My grandparents would probably welcomed a more at home environment.
