This is Rehab Facility has been all that I was told it would be, the staff is very nice and caring especially Michelle B. she is very knowledgeable and well informed on what the doctor is doing along with my treatment plan and care. I have been at others but they lack care empathy and respect for pts. and each other. If I could I would give them a 10 star.

Called asking information regarding my family members o2 level. Before I could explain myself, the respiratory therapist cut me off and said "You think you no more than we do" He was rude and ill informed. I do not expect the type of care from a rehab center. Providers of services should be kind and respectful of the caregiver team, family members, and patients. In addition, family member is receiving food with stale bread.

I am in Burgess Square for rehab. They were able to take on what I needed to be done. Everything has been fine and good. My room is like any room. I am in a room by myself, so of course it's spacious. I'm in isolation since I just got out of the hospital and came here. I have to stay in this room, and I can't get out. The food has been excellent.

My mother is here for short term rehab. Rooms are nice, she says the food is pretty good. The staff is AMAZING! Very compassionate, thorough and very on top of all her needs. They work very well as a team. Communication is extremely good. They are constantly keeping me informed, as well, easy to get ahold of too. Highly recommend this place !

A year and a half ago, my dear cousin passed away from her battle with pancreatic cancer. Prior to her passing away peacefully at home under hospice, she spent rehab time at Burgess Square. Her experience there was wonderful. The staff truly took care of her in a very professional, kind and caring manner....... So thank you Burgess Square management and staff for your caring and quality care. Currently, my cousin's husband who is now 90 and very dear to me, is at Burgess Square for rehab, and the staff is treating him with the best of kindness and care. Burgess Square management and staff, again I thank you greatly for your great healthcare and for your kindness and compassion. Many, many thanks to all of you. It is so often that we hear of terrible nursing care home stories. If at any time I would need such care, Burgess Square is the only facility I would hope to go to.

My husband is in Burgess rehab. The rooms are fine. For the most part, it is good; however, I feel like I'm constantly calling and constantly checking to make sure that they're doing what they're supposed to be doing. It is very frustrating. I'm constantly on the phone making sure that he is being taken care of. Food is awful; it is horrible. Nevertheless, they keep the place clean, some of the staff is awesome, and Medicare pays for it.

Horrible experience...had my mother removed from this facility one day after her admission...my mother was a fall risk after breaking her hip and she fell the first day she was there and they never set her up with the proper precautions to avoid the situation and on top of that, I sat there for over 20+ minutes waiting for them to come help her go to the bathroom and pressing the buzzer over and over again...only time they got involved when was I called 911 to have my mother taken to a different facility...beware at all costs, not worth risking your family member’s health for improper treatment...

Bad bad bad. They serve one entree' per meal and if you don't like it you get a sandwich. The facility is freezing for these older people and the heat is not on. My grandfather is not getting his therapy as required by the doctors. Don't let the outside appearance fool you!

My parents have been in Burgess Square. Our experience was very positive. We were very pleased with the level of care. The facilities were very clean, and the staff was very helpful. Both of my parents received physical therapy and occupational therapy that was very helpful in returning them to their normal routines. We were very surprised that the food quality was so good. The interaction with family members was very strong in terms of keeping us up to date with what was going on. It was a good experience. It's a small, very good, comfortable, and home-like facility. It's a two-story building, and they have a nice outdoor garden area, so it doesn't feel as institutionalized as some facilities I have seen so that helped.

My elderly father stayed here for 53 days, until just last week. He came here from the hospital, initially for observation and to assess next steps. He was on the downstairs short-term rehab floor in a shared room. From here we ended up moving him into long-term skilled nursing at another place. I observed his care daily for 10 days, and I was so impressed. I have nothing but praise for the staff and administration. Every single person who worked with him, from his nurses and really caring CNA's to his fabulous O.T. to the social worker and the customer relations person and the dining room staff, was stellar. The P.T./O.T. dept. is super-dynamic and focused compared to all the other facilities I visited. These people give their all and they do their work well. I was very very impressed. My father liked the food (he is very, very picky) - and he was eating blended food! It did look and smell good. I once worked in a nursing home and know how bad it can be. I feel very, very lucky that my father landed here. Thank you forever, Cici and Neal and Theresa and Luis, and all of you whose names have escaped me!

The staff at Burgess Square is very caring and very tolerant. The place is fairly well kept. My mother-in-law was there for a short respite time. The patients don't appear to be very happy at all. I don't know if they were understaffed. In terms of where I am, it is in a good location, but there is never any parking available. If you are there on the weekend, you have to park on the street because parking is not good.
