My dad was in the BRIA of Westmont for rehab. It was OK. It seemed like it was run ok. It wasn't the top facility, but it wasn't the worst I believe. Some people are nice. They're understaffed, they had a lot on their plate, they were OK. My dad said the food was bland. It was like a hotel that they redid into a senior center type, small hotel, or something like that. That's what it looked like.

This place is horrible. My mother has been there twice this year. This place is under-staffed. My mother fell twice here because she had to use the washroom by herself because no one would answer when she pushed the nurse button for help. Although some of the staff is nice, I have seen many of the workers sitting at the nursing stations playing w their cellphones. The food is bland and horrible. I wouldn't give it to my dogs. Other facilities had better food. Most disgusting of all is that the "administrator" never returned my phone calls after I called about them losing my mother's toiletries after they moved her to another room. Patti L (administrator) was always in a "meeting", etc. This place is a FOR-PROFIT business. That is why they're short-staffed, crappy food n will NOT reimburse you when they lose your parent's items.

If you're loved one is a fall risk or cannot tell if they are sick themselves, this is not the place for your loved one. My mom was here for a month and came out in worse condition then when she went in. She had a urinary tract infection, fever of 100.9, and a hernia that she never had before. She was rushed to hospital 2 dAys after she was released. She fell 2 times I was aware of and had mystery bruises. The overall staff was nice and caring. Our family had to stay on top of everything.

My mother is currently living in Westmont Nursing and Rehab and I have had an extremely positive experience. My mother is very happy and gets great care. The nurses are very attentive and always inform me whenever there are any changes with my mother. She has been living there a little over a year. when she first arrived she received physical therapy and occupational therapy. she progressed to the point where she is now toileting herself and walking with a walker. I can not explain how happy and comfortable I am that my mom is living in a healthy, safe environment!

Wrong place to put someone you love. Staff members are rude and unattentive to residents, many falls go unreported, and change in management to carry out many cover ups. I would not recommend this place for anyone I love.
