Peterson Meadows is just independent living, but it's affiliated with a much larger continuing care community. It's just a comfortable and pleasant place to live. Everything is just so easy for the residents and the staff members are excellent. They're polite, helpful, well-informed and well-trained, and they go out of their way to make this place a pleasant place for us. The food is also excellent and they have a number of activities like card games, other games, line dancing, and so on if people are interested. The layout and cleanliness of the place is very good, and we have everything we need in terms of activities. This is probably the lowest-priced independent living community in the area, so in my opinion it's the best.

We had a very good tour of Peterson Meadows. In fact, if I had to choose right now, I would choose this one first. I would have a choice of living in an apartment or a condo. If I chose living in a condo, I would have a basement facility and a garage. Both the apartments and condos were very, very nice, and I was impressed with either one. The surroundings were also very nice. They showed me a lot of things that they do on a daily basis, and they have a board that shows all the activities. Whether you live in a condo or in an apartment, you are eligible to take part in their activities. The staff was very, very nice, too. The lady who took me around, Michelle, actually had come to my home and visited with me before I had both my COVID shots. I didn't feel comfortable going into any place without having had my shots, so she met me at the place, and escorted me around. Their location is also very good. It's close to church, shopping, and other things.

We have moved into Peterson Meadows. It's very nice and beautiful. The grounds are gorgeous. You can take walks there. We have all of the services and our own condo with our kitchen so we do most of our own cooking. However, in the times that we have eaten in the dining room, the food has been very good. There are all different kinds of activities and different things to do. It is a life in itself. They have exercise program and outings.

My cousin is in Peterson Meadows. It's very acceptable, good, and clean. The people are very friendly. It's a very nice, wonderful place. The staff was very friendly, answered our questions, and didn't make us wait. The maintenance department is wonderful. They came and hooked up her TV the same day she moved in and hooked up her telephone, so she could keep the same phone number that she had. They have a vegetable garden that you could go out and work on.

Peterson Meadows was very nice. The only thing was you could go into independent living, and then if you need to go into assisted living, you need to re-apply at Wesley Willows. At Peterson Meadows, their homes are wheelchair accessible, the doors are wide, and you could go in and out from the garage. It was great for independent living and the homes were lovely. We looked at a 2-bedroom home and it was spacious. The kitchen was very modern, the bathroom was wheelchair and walker accessible, and it was like you have your own home. You have your own beautiful yard, you could walk around, and there were benches all around.
