I am/was a resident of this facility

I moved to Autumn Green at Wright Campus. It's a one-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen. They have a lot of amenities. I haven't tried them all. They have visiting dentists and visiting doctors. They have an exercise room, a media room, a library, and a dining area. The staff was friendly. They serve two meals a day, breakfast and dinner, and it's very good. The dinner is not so much. They tend to run out of things. The value for money, so far everything has been fine.

Provider Response

Our team is focused on providing you and all our residents an enriching, active lifestyle. Always feel free to share your experiences with us.

We went to Autumn Green at Wright Campus. It was so clean and meticulous. I loved that the rooms were very emphasized. The food looked wonderful. There was nothing I disliked about Autumn Green. Everything was lovely. The staff who gave the tour was Stacey and she was wonderful. With regards to amenities, there was a salon, a pool table, an exercise room, a smoking area, and a library. They had everything. It was just wonderful. I did not eat but the food looked wonderful. The menu was superb.

Provider Response

Your kind words go a long way to brighten our day. We’ll be sure to share your review with our team members. Thanks so much.

We chose Autumn Green at Wright Campus for my cousin. I like the way they treated us. The facility is very clean and nice, and they offer good pricing with a lot of things included. The apartment was a great size. They renovated it a little bit for her needs. It was going to be a good deal for her. There's no dishwasher or microwave, but there's the usual refrigerator and stove. They did a cutout in the shower or bathtub for her, so she could get in and out more easily. There are grab bars everywhere. They installed laminate flooring instead of carpeting. The staff was very helpful, and upbeat, and answered every question.

Provider Response

We know your cousin is important to you. She important to us too! Thank you for visiting, and thank you for this outstanding review.

I visited this facility

The one who gave us the tour of Autumn Green at Wright Campus was good. She answered all the questions that I had, showed me the rooms available, and showed me the prices and the amenities. I enjoyed it. The lady was very generous with her time. I noticed that the rooms were very clean and very organized. She explained everything including what I would need to bring with me for my aunt. The room that she showed me had a bed, a dresser, and a closet space. There was a chair and a little table in the room. She advised that I could bring in a television if I wanted my aunt to have one. It had a kitchenette area. The activities would be my aunt's choice as to what she wanted to attend. They had a chapel there, they had bingo, and they had an activity room where they do different things, but they had a leader-type person there that would show them how to do things. They had a room where you could eat. You didn't have to eat in your room. You had your room cleaned and you could have your laundry done by them. They had emergency services available.

Provider Response

Visitors are always welcome here. Whether you choose our community or find another that’s a better fit, we’re happy to share our insights and expertise about senior living with you. We appreciate you taking the time to post this great review.

We toured Autumn Green at Wright Campus for my mother, and we loved it there. We loved the community, the facility, and the person who showed us around. It was very bright and very clean. The units looked beautiful. There was enough space. The food was fine, I don't have a problem with the food they had. I think they have a physical therapy session there. It was very bright and had a lot of outdoor space. We met the athletic director who was very enthusiastic about their activities. So, we liked it there. They had a lot of greens because there's grass, but then there's also outdoor areas. There were benches if you wanted to visit with family outside of the facility. There were chairs and tables and not in just one area of the building, but on the other side of the building as well.

Provider Response

Thank you Lynda for sharing your experience with others! We're so glad we could impress you and earn your recommendation. Please let us know if we can do anything else for you!

Autumn Green at Wright Campus was very comfortable. The apartment was a good size. They had motion sensors in the apartment, so if there's no motion within so many hours, they'll check on you, which is nice. They had a sprinkler system in case of fire. Size-wise, everything was good, and my friend really liked it. The staff was very nice. The dining area seemed very relaxed. It didn't seem like a café; it seemed more like you're having dinner in your dining room. It was a very comfortable setting. They had quite a few activities. There was an outside area, but it was raining that day. We didn't go outside at all. One side of the building is facing the football field at the new Taft High School, so if you're into football, you get front row seats for the games.

I visited Autumn Green at Wright Campus and I felt the price was good. The apartments themselves were decent. I would not say it was immaculate or anything special, but still very nice apartments. The tour person was nice, and she took me around pretty much everywhere. Granted it didn’t look like this place has a pool, but it was still nice. This is the one place that I am trying to sneak my aunt into at least seeing.

I'm on a waiting list at Autumn Green at Wright Campus. I love Autumn Green because it is based on my income. Also it is not too far from a shopping center, and it is nice over there. It's my preference. They have two pools; I can get more exercise in their pool. However, the staff member didn't have an apartment to show me. We just walked around the place. The dining area would be sufficient. It is cafeteria style and you can go and fix your plate and eat what you want. As the residents were coming and going, the staff members were speaking to them and were attentive to their needs. The place was well kept. I didn't see any garbage anywhere. The people seemed to be on their job and doing their job. The staff member showed me their grounds, which were beautiful. She was very pleasant; I really like her.

Provider Response

Thank you Armon for sharing your experience with others! You provide a valuable insight to others looking for a place to call home. We will pass your kind words to our staff!

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

If you are looking for any care more than independent living I would not recommend this place. My family and I were promised age in place but once it came time to needing extra services we needed to move her to the second floor. Now after living there for 5 years they are giving us until Christmas Eve to move her out. Only a three week notice after 5 full years of living there.

Provider Response

Our residents are like family to us. As much as we would love all of our residents to stay with us and age-in-place, sometimes medical issues deem a move to a facility with a higher level of clinical care. Ultimately, these moves are in the best interest of the resident, both for safety and comfort. If you would like to continue this conversation, please feel free to reach out. Thank you.

Autumn Green at Wright Campus was nice. They told me all about their activities. They took me down the hallway where there are lots of rooms, but they don't have memory care, which is what I need for my mother. There was a single bedroom -- that was fully furnished -- and then there was one that was actually for two people with two separate bedrooms, a small living room, and a kitchenette.

Provider Response

Thank you for sharing your review. Our goal is to provide a five-star experience, so if there are specific areas of improvement that you feel would help us to achieve that goal, please do't hesitate to reach out to our community. We look forward to hearing from you.

I visited Autumn Green at Wright Campus, it had too many pets, and too many dogs. It was definitely dated, more dated than the other place I went to. They have physical therapy on site. The staff was excellent and very friendly. They’re so busy there. The rooms were very big, and it had outstanding views. The cafeteria looked well-run.

Provider Response

Hi Jon! Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback! Since our goal is to provide a 5-star experience, we’d love to hear from you with any additional input that you feel would help us achieve that goal. We look forward to hearing from you!

Autumn Green at Wright Campus probably is the most reasonably-priced facility, but it also had the fewest activities. The woman I interviewed with was very friendly and answered all my questions. They had varied and reasonable menus.

We visited Autumn Green at Wright Campus. They were very positive, open to questions, and they had some brochures to look at. It was really a positive, beautiful, and clean facility. The residents were positive, polite, and smiling. It was just a really good experience. However, the cost was prohibitive. I would love my brother to live there.

The visit was for my brother who is a vet and needed a place where he would have people around him and if need be someone that would be readily available to help him if needed. Nicolette took my husband and I around and explained everything in detail. We both agreed, this place is beautiful and would be a good place for my brother. It is close enough to us if we needed to get to him in a hurry. After filling him in on everything Autumn Green had to offer, he decided he was not ready to move from Wisconsin.

My mom was at Autumn Green, and it was so bad for her over there that I had to bring her home. What’s good about it is the outside landscaping; otherwise, I would not send anybody there at all. They have a fountain, a little gazebo, patio, and chairs in a park setting. The food was awful, and my mom didn’t know what she was eating. There were broken blinds in her apartment that she shared with a lady that they never replaced, but it was clean.

Autumn Green at Wright Campus was great and I'm actually choosing that one as an option. The place itself was beautiful. It's not a bully, it doesn't make you participate in anything that you don't want to or don't need. I liked the added security there. If you're on a regular diet, the food is okay. It is small but it is not a box. I also like their community spirit. It doesn't feel like a bunch of old folks.

I went to Autumn Green at Wright Campus. It was expensive, but if two people were going there, you would have two incomes to help pay for it. The apartments were beautiful, very new, and modern; however, it was out of my father's price range if he'd be going there by himself. They had a lot of activities, but they were more couple-orientated because there were a lot of couples living there. They had a suite with a full kitchen, bathroom, living room, and dining room -- not just a bedroom and bathroom, but a full apartment. The staff was very nice and pleasant.

The building is clean and pretty new. They have lots of things always going on for everyone living in the building. We have placed my mother in an assisted living apartment. We pay extra to have the staff come in and check on her and give her meds and help her with other things as needed. I like the area this facility is located. It is near all kinds of shopping. They have a campus bus that takes the independent living people on all kinds of field trips, shopping, etc. The campus bus is also used to take the assisted living residents on short field trips as well. The nurses/CNA's do a great job in taking care of all the residents in assisted living considering all the things they have to do throughout their shifts. The only negative comment I have at this time is: The staff throughout the building - from the first floor up to the top floor should communicate better. It seems like every time I ask a CNA or nurse on the second floor about something going on in the building (whether it be jewelry sale, bake sale, etc.) they say they do not know anything about it - they tell me to read the signs posted in the elevators or on the easels. I think everyone in the building should be told about something going on in the building that everyone can participate in. They do post signs in hallways and on easels in the main lobby - but the 2nd floor is not told about many things going on in the building. I think a lot of the people on the 2nd floor assisted living just assume things posted in the elevators and easels is not for them.

Autumn Green is assisted living and independent living. It has one main floor that caters for assisted living. Of course, they offer more services for whatever their particular needs are, and that is where we chose to place mom. The staff is very welcoming and very friendly. My family, other visitors, and my mom all noticed that at times they seem overworked. We have questioned if they have a staffing shortage, and they have hired more people. We are pleased with the care that she is receiving. She has an apartment. It is in a perfect size with a great view, lots of sunlight, and all the amenities, everything that she can possibly need. She tries to participate in as many activities as possible. She and some of the other residents are disappointed when they have something scheduled, but then they cannot run the activity for whatever reason. I have had many meals there, and I think the food is wonderful.

Provider Response

As the Executive Director of Autumn Green at Wright Campus, I am so happy to hear that your mom and family enjoy our staff and feel that mom is being well cared for. I am very proud of the our team members here and the work that they do each and every day to provide the best level of services and care for our residents. It is my hope that we continue to meet your loved ones needs. I am sorry to hear that at times an activity might not have occurred. I would love to speak to you about this, so that I can be sure to follow up with the appropriate staff member to understand why we might have had to cancel an activity. Please know that I am always happy to hear from our residents or family members. Please feel free to reach out to me, Hilary King, directly at 773-202-3388 or via email at hking@seniorlifestlye.com

I am/was a resident of this facility

My daughter-in-law picked Autumn Green for me. It used to be a lot better. I like the location. As for activities, there is nothing here. Whatever they offer is not over here but in the building across the street. Right now I can't even walk, so I don't do any of those. I used to like the place a lot better than I do now because they have changed a lot and they have changed their rules. I'm not crazy about the rules. I cook my own food, and I'm comfortable with the size of my apartment. The place is decent, and they keep it clean. They used to be really good, but now they don't seem to be as good as far as listening to your problems. The thing of it is their policy was you have to be at least 55 to live here, and you can't bring anybody below 55 in to live. Right now, I don't feel safe here.

We've been living in Autumn Green for a year now. My daughter picked this place for us. The people here are nice and we enjoyed it here. Everything is very nice and very clean, the staff is nice and I'm satisfied. The place we have is large with a living room and a full kitchen but I would love an extra bedroom. They have a rehab unit and they have activities too but we haven't taken advantage of them.
