Knollwood Retirement Center is a good place to love. They have a really good cook here that prepares good meals. They do their best to comply with our needs and we are satisfied. The staff is more than kind. I took a bus trip with them to see the Christmas lights in Bellville. I went down and played bingo with them often. I get to go to Walmart once a week. They go to Dollar General once a week. You can go to the bank on a certain day. You go to the doctor's appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They tend to you a lot here. The price is just more than I can afford.

I toured Knollwood Retirement Center. It was a very nice community. It seemed like some of the residents did like lingering out in a little entrance area, and just wandered around a little bit more than what my mom would be comfortable with, but other than that it was a very nice place. Everything was nice. The gentleman who gave me the tour was very kind. He's very busy because they seem to be a little understaffed. I went out there, we had an appointment, and he forgot the first day because he got help with something, but then the next time I went out there, he showed me around and everything. They do have meals and stuff. They have a game night. I believe they have a cocktail hour in the evening. They just showed me the rooms, how they're furnished, and everything.

I looked at Knollwood Retirement Center. It looked nice and well-maintained. Bryce, the tour person, was very accommodating. Guests are only allowed to be in a small dining room next to the main dining area, and only residents are allowed to go into the dining area. They gave us food from their kitchen. They offer two main courses per meal. The food was edible; it wasn't super great. They offer some daily activities, too. There's an activity room, a fitness room, and a room with a whirlpool.

Knollwood Retirement Center was the one I would prefer just because it's close to my house. It's also newer and bigger, and they are opening memory care. They don't have it ready yet. The staff during the tour was good. It's very well-kept. Everything was clean. It's pretty new. They take them out for shopping days. They have things to do. There's a pool table, card games, and events every night. I saw the wing that they were turning into memory care. We're kind of on this waiting list for them to get it finished. They're the only place that accepts Medicaid.

I was impressed with Knollwood St. Clair Retirement Center favorably. They were very friendly people. They answered all my questions and it was a very, very nice visit. They also did a nice follow up the next day as a matter of fact.

My father was a resident of Knollwood for several years before he became to ill to stay there. His stay there was great. The staff were friendly and very helpful. He made great friends there and had lots of activities to do. Dad also loved the food - that was a big requirement for him on where he was going to stay! As his son I cannot say enough about the administration and staff. It was telling how much they cared for him when they teared up when he had to leave.

I Must say when my family and I visted this facility, the building was very well maintained in and outside, the staff greeted and welcomed us they were very knid and eager to tour us and answer any questions that we had, I felt like this is the perfect place for my mother. I have scheduled her for to tour the facility next week I'm sure she will be as pleased as we were with the caring staff and the very well decoratred enviroment. Looking forward to calling this my place for my mom.

My mother lives at Knollwood Village and has for almost two years. She has limited income and is able to live there with the help of Medicaid in which Knollwood assisted us (where they could) in getting and it was a smooth process. We had visited several other assisted living facilities but Knollwood was the cleanest, friendliest, and was the only one that was willing to work with us in certain areas of mom's situation with her mobility. If I ever have a concern, I can go to the staff and they are happy to help. I visit my mom often so I am at Knollwood several times a week and it is always clean and neat. Mom is very comfortable and happy living there and that gives me tremendous peace of mind; and for those who have parents in this stage of life, know that peace of mind is priceless. Thank you Knollwood.

My mom was in Knollwood Retirement Center. This one was closer to me and my brothers, so it was convenient for us. However, they had us there on false pretenses. They didn't tell us all the other things that went along with Medicaid. They were just trying to get us in. They didn't tell us about the fact that she had to cash in her insurance policy. They even want my mother to sell her home. They want to charge us $7000 and it was just horrible. The guy who got us in there ended up getting fired. It was just a mess. The facility was nice, the food was good and the people were nice. My mother really enjoyed this place; however, she was there for like seven months, but they never said anything.

This facility has a good staff, great furnishings and a more diverse diabetic menu than other assisted living facilities in the area. My mother enjoys staying in this facility. Knolwood has all of the things she needs. My mother was provided with a large room and free cable for at least a month. I am extremely pleased with this faciliy. Though, I would have liked to have a place for my mother to live that was located more closely to my house.
