My husband has moved into Encore Memory Care at Bolingbrook. The price was within my budget. They have individual care for their residents. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner and three snacks. Their rooms are very nicely furnished. Even the people that work there eat the food, so that's pretty good. They have all kinds of things that he can do. He can even plant flowers if he wants to, plant a little garden, paint, or do crafts. They want to keep them busy. They don't want them watching TV and sitting around. That's why I picked it. I wanted the best for my husband. It's the first out of the bunch that I've seen that is very up to cleanliness. I was very impressed.

My wife spent 41/2 years at Revere Court. The care, compassion and love shown her speaks volumes about the staff and facilities. Revere Court is what dementia care should be about. I am and shall be forever grateful to all who helped my Chris and my whole family traverse the hellish road that FTD is. My God bless everyone who is there.

I went to see it. I like that the people there are very pleasant, and I like the security that they have in place for the memory care. They seemed awfully quiet but they don't have a whole lot of residents, so there's not much going on at the moment. The staff member, Patricia, was wonderful and very informative. The dining room was empty but it was nice. It was small and set up like a little diner with several small tables. It was spacious and it looked homey. They had a library, activities room, and beauty shop. The lobby was very nice and they had a TV room.

It was a very clean place. The rooms were nice and everything looked fine. We just couldn't go into their dining room and see any other amenities because their facilities won't let us go anywhere near where their residents were. We were only able to see one wing where nobody was in so that we could see the room. It almost looked like a hotel room. The staff was friendly, very informative, and very pleasant.

My mother has only been here for a short time, but we love it. It is a really lovely place. It is a small community of people. They pay a lot of attention to the clients and we really like the way it feels. Unfortunately, after my mother was there for only a little while, she fell, so she ended up having to go into the hospital and get surgery, and now she is in rehab. My mother has pretty severe dementia, and they're only memory care. The place itself is very nice. It is pretty new and fresh looking. The rooms are very nice and very clean, too. They say that their food is all made there. There are only 25 clients, and they're very good about the activities. I don't have a lot of experience with the community, but I still like it a lot. The staff is very nice, very friendly, very responsive, and attentive to the clients. They communicate well with the family, too. They really care. A couple of them actually went and visited my mother in the hospital when she was in there, so that was pretty nice.

We have toured here. It is very nicely appointed. It is new and very pretty, but because of the nature of what it is -- e.g., everything is locked and the doors have alarms -- it is kind of unnerving in a way. We did not elect to put my mother there -- not because of their layout, and I understand that it needs to be that way -- but because I don’t think it is suitable for her. I don’t know how well she will respond to that environment. Amenities seem very nice. It seems very nice and very organized to keep the residents engaged. It seems like a very good place, but it is not the right one for us. To all outward appearances, it appears to be very top-notch. It does appear to be a very good place.

It was really nice and well decorated. They had activities like they gathered in a pond area and kept them active. They had other spots in for people who just wanted to read. They had a couple of outdoor gardens where they encourage the patients to go out there and help others. The staff was very helpful; they showed me all the amenities, different places to watch TV, how they work with bathing, and a couple of different rooms.

It is the best facility we found for Alzheimer's and dementia care. My wife is there, and my overall opinion of the place is that it is wonderful. Everything is likeable. It is a one story building that takes no more than 50 people. It has activities for the people all day long. It is such a beautiful place. The staff is very courteous and helpful, and my wife loves it. My wife has a single bedroom, and it is larger than any bedroom we have at home. The food is great. She eats the food all the time. She goes to the dining room, she has her own seat at the table, and she enjoys the food and dessert. My wife loves to draw, and she goes to the art session when they have it. They have a meeting room where they gather, and one time they have somebody telling stories about the old time commercials. They always have something going on from 9 o'clock in the morning until 11 and from 1 o'clock until 3:30.
