My mom moved to StoryPoint Romeoville. I liked the inclusivity and the stimulation that they're able to provide my mom to sustain the rest of the life that she has. The staff was very nice and helpful. They have lots of activities. They have exercise, volleyball, with a big ball for them. They had dominoes, and then somebody came in to play the harp, and they took them outside, it's very active.

We have chosen StoryPoint Romeoville. I was impressed with the size of the building. And then they had the memory card right across from it, so that's how big the place was. The upkeep was excellent. It was clean and nothing was out of place. The staff was very friendly. We were treated very nicely. We had two free meals there. The restaurant was very good; the food was good. They had a menu with three items and my wife mentioned she didn't care for anything. A lady brought out a menu that they have every day that had about eight items on it (like hamburgers and cheeseburgers), and she said, 'You can get these anytime.' It's almost reminiscent of the amount of food you get on a cruise ship. For activities, they have game rooms, play bingo, and take trips to the stores. The place is brand new. The whole place has been remodeled.

My mother lives in Story Point and I am very pleased with her experience. She has a spacious apartment and access to a variety of activities, plus many amenities. She enjoys the food, laundry, and housekeeping services. Overall I am pleased with Story Point and would recommend the community.

I went to StoryPoint Romeoville. The tour is very nice. The place is very clean. People are very friendly and the price was about average with everybody else. The room is a one-bedroom with a nice kitchen, a good seating area, a big bathroom, and a couple of closets. They have laundry facilities, a screened-in porch, a bar area, and a big dining room. Each floor has seating areas if my dad wanted to get out of his room and go to a bigger area with some privacy.

Mom is moving into StoryPoint Romeoville. Beautiful, clean, and orderly. Everybody is so friendly. You felt like you'd been there before. It was the best one that we have seen. The staff was good. She made my mom feel comfortable. She showed us around everything there. It was fun. They have tons of activities, family feud, and games. I came in the first time and we looked to the left, there was a whole big table with maybe 15 people at it, and they were playing games and they were all laughing.

StoryPoint Romeoville was clean and had all the things that we were looking for. They had the availability. The tour guide was real good. The room was big. They're in the process of remodeling it. So they're putting in a new carpet and new paint. They also had an enclosed patio.

My father will be moving into StoryPoint Romeoville. It doesn't feel so institutionalized. The facility is nice and clean. The rooms are nice, brand new, painted, with new flooring. They have a man cave, a TV room, a music room, an art room, and a lot of different things. The woman who we dealt with, Alicia, was fabulous. She's been working with us for almost a month now. The building has easy access. It's a nice place. He's going into memory care. After hours, it's locked. I don't think they lock the bedroom doors or the room doors or anything like that. They have a crafts room and a nice big dining room.

StoryPoint Romeoville was very nice and had very friendly people. We just thought that it was a little too busy for my mom. It was a very nice facility, but there were a lot of people. What I liked about the other two facilities I went to was that there were fewer residents. So, it just seems like maybe the care would be better. Not that I got the impression that the care would be any less at StoryPoint Romeoville, but I just liked that they were smaller communities. The dining area was very nice, clean, and organized. The staff was very nice and informative. We met a few people there. They had a salon, an exercise room, a doctor's office, and an exercise pool for physical therapy. It was nice outside and at the entrance. There were flowers and people sitting outside enjoying themselves.

One thing that was a bit confusing was how the Level of Carr is assessed and the pricing of each level. Other than that, the intake process was very smooth. The staff from housekeeping to nurses, to administers, are very friendly and focused on the care and happiness of the residents. My parents love the social events like the Happy Hour and Bingo. My father also loves sitting outside

I helped my folks transition from their home of the last 52 years to Story Point Romeoville. We visited multiple communities, SPR offers an excellent range of apartment sizes, care levels and resident amenities. The PT/OT is exceptional here, staff is patient with positive attitudes towards the residents. The food is great, a level above what many other communities offer. For Mom & Dad we all wanted a positive atmosphere that feels more like a community and SPR hits that mark. Mom & Dad are very happy to have landed here. The everyday stress of just surviving has been replaced with thriving and relaxing for this phase of their lives. Transport for medical appointment within a reasonable distance is reliably provided. Staff members Camille and Hope were standouts in helping us forge a long term plan for Mom and Dad's future and we are blessed to be part of this community.

15 months ago I had to make the tough decision of moving my mom out of her house. My dad had passed away and he was her primary caregiver. After visiting numerous facilities I chose Storypoint. The facilities are beautiful. They just completed a total makeover. Everything is so clean. The staff is so caring and friendly. Everyone always greets you as you enter the facility. Mom was placed on the 3rd floor and she is so lucky to have such great caregiver (Gay). The food is good and they have numerous selections. They also provide numerous events for the residents and families too. I feel comfortable with mom at Storypoint. I couldn't say that about some of the facilities I visited.

StoryPoint is a very unique Assisted Living facility. They offer many activities both on and off site giving residents the opportunity to be as active as they choose. My favorite activity is the live entertainment each week. The food is great with a wide variety of choices every week and, the chef is always open to ideas keeping the menu interesting and diverse. The staff members are constantly looking out for their residents caring for them like they are family. I sleep well at night knowing my mother is well cared for just like I would do myself. In addition, staff members are very accessible and responsive to any questions or requests from residents and family. I love that they offer monthly support group and family touch bases. I highly recommend StoryPoint to those that are looking for an active Assisted Living community. This is definitely a 5 star facility!

If you’d like your loved one to live in a place where they are treated with the utmost respect as if they are part of a very large family this is the place that you would like for them to live. The rooms are very well kept clean and up-to-date. All of the common areas are so colorful and bring a sense of calm to anyone that enters there has not been one meal that my mom has been dissatisfied with at all and the activities are endless. There is some thing for everyone we could not have been more happy with our decision.

I loved the spacious apartments in StoryPoint Romeoville. I am in a wheelchair. They were very accessible to me, unlike other places. They do not have a swimming pool, but they have current pools (which I think I will be using extensively). I like that they have underground parking. I really liked that place. I didn't like the fact that it didn't have a lot of shade trees. All the trees were young. Aside from that, it met all my criteria. The rooms have appliances. The washer/dryer is in a common area. They did not offer us a meal, but they gifted us a box of cookies. The staff who gave me the tour was very good. She followed up with me and offered me a trial stay for two weeks in December.

My husband is at StoryPoint Romeoville. It was closer for me. I'm 75 years old and don't like to drive that much. Everything was just what we needed for my husband at the time. The staff are very cooperative. They answer all my questions and my daughter's questions. They are just a super group of people to work with, that's for sure. The rooms are very nice. His room has a single bed, a dresser, a nightstand, a lamp, and a chair. The bathroom is very big. My husband is going to start OT and PT, but I know they play games in the afternoon. He's already gone on an outing to a restaurant for lunch. They keep him pretty busy.

I moved my mom back home from Florida and was amazed with StoryPoint Memorycare. What a difference from where she was at in Florida. She has a corner room that I just love. She has made friends and is happy. StoryPoint does activities and I know they are trying to do even more and they go on trips. Yes, they take road trips. Bless their hearts. Can't please everyone but they sure do try, no place is perfect. I'm so glad to have my mom back home.

Generally most of the time my husbands care and caregivers, nurses are very good. Therw is especially a caregiver and nurse Im very fond of. On occasion I've found my husband wearing the same pants multiple days in a row. Lately it seems there is changes with staffing and I see new faces all the time. I understand there has been a transition since another company took over Senior Star and I'm hoping things will improve. I also understand there's staffing shortages everywhere but I am also paying big money for his care. I'm trying to be patient and giving it a little time to see if the consistency improves.

Story Point has been a great place for my father. His caregivers are helpful and are able to answer our questions. The regular outings my Dad gets to join keep him invested in the community.

I’ve been very pleased with the care my mother has been given at senior star. The nurses, the CNA‘s, and all the staff are so caring and wonderful in the way they treat her. Hey she has had some challenges with her health, and everyone has stepped up to make sure she is safe and comfortable.

My Mom was 1st in the Independent Living wing of StoryPoint for about 5 years living a healthy and productive life. About 3 months ago we determined she needed to be placed in the Assisted Living wing for more care. I was amazed how quickly we transferred her physically and emotionally. There was lots of paperwork but it all went smoothly. She’s getting care constantly from the nurses and visiting physician and is constantly checked on with the additional aids. My mom loves the facility with the assortment of classes, the other residents and the surroundings. She’s a big Walker and they have nice paths for her to walk daily. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful…always treated me and my Mom with love and respect. My moms room is a 1-bedroom and it’s big enough for everything she needs at this point in life!

I visited the memory care here. They have independent and assisted living as well. I only got to meet a couple of the people because they were just opening up, but that's the place I chose to send my mom once she gets out of the hospital. I liked everything about the place. They had just opened up for viewing. The facility was very nice, and the room was fully furnished, very neat, and very pretty. They had quite a few stations for people that suffer from dementia and Alzheimer's. They had lots of things for the people to do and they were doing activities when I was exiting the building. They had residents at the tables and some of them had tablets that they were gonna work with, and I think they were doing some type of a bingo game.

My parents were residents for 6 years before they both passed away. The facility is very caring, clean and overall top notch. The apartments are generous in size. They had a 2 bedroom then a 1 bedroom. You can be as active or inactive as you want. WII bowling was my Dads favorite

We had lunch here and it was very good. It's right across the lake and the area is familiar to me. The person that took me on the tour was very nice, very cordial, and very friendly. She showed me the places in detail and they all looked nice. They have various activities that you can participate in. They have church services, a sewing room, and an exercise place.

My father is here, and it's pretty good so far. The place is clean, caring, and efficient. The food is good and the staff has a very good attitude. The room is adequate, single, and has its own bathroom. They have an exercise room, salon, and therapy.

My dad was here. The staff was very caring and very concerned. My dad was in his own room. It was on a smaller end, but it fit his needs. He had a bathroom attached with a shower. He also liked the food. The dining area was very nice. It was in a huge room with a floor to ceiling windows looking out on a lake, so it was very pretty. It was very nice and comfortable just like it would be in your own home. They did have a happy hour that my dad was interested at. They had religious activities, and he enjoyed those too.

I highly recommend it. They have a sense of safety there. Anytime there has ever been a change in medical condition, the staff has always made the correct and appropriate decision like sending them to the hospital. I feel safe with them, and the staffs are always checking on them. It is very clean too. As for activities, they have just about everything like church, choir, bingo, crafts, movie nights, and happy hour. They bring in people from Irish dancers to accordion players. I would rate the food as a four on a five star scale.

My first impression of it was very warm and caring. Everybody was very happy. The people who work there were very concerned. It just seemed like a nice and happy place. The facility was very clean, and the rooms were very nice. I did not see anything that was out of place. They have lots of activities.

It has a nice homey feel to it. I like the sizes of the rooms. They are very high on my list. The staff seemed pretty good. As I was going in, a bunch of people were sitting out, and I talked to them for about 15 to 20 minutes asking them about the place, and their general opinion is on the positive side. They did not seem to have a lot of complaints. They were all very honest. I never did get to see their assisted living situation.

My friends who are now living there, have a two-bedroom apartment, and it is lovely, very spacious, and they are very comfortable in there. So, they are very happy. They were having a happy hour at that time and they were very happy with the happy hour. They have a very lovely bar area, people were socializing, and it looked like a lot of fun.

When they accepted her and right before she was going to move in, she developed a terrible infection; cellulitis in the jaw. But we thought it's a good fit for her because it was memory and assisted living. It seems to fit her needs.

It was close to my home. It was fabulous. It was very, very nice, clean and neat. The staff was unbelievably helpful and nice. Even the people staying there were also willing to help if they saw you looking around. The rooms were very nice. They are large and very roomy for just what I would call a studio. The dining room is beautiful. They had activities. They even had a night of karaoke. They had all the things that you could do. It was just a nice place to be.
