My mother moved into Royal Plaza Retirement & Rehab Center, and it's been a very good experience. They take care of her, and anything you want, they try to get. I've eaten there a few times, you hear complaints, and you hear how good it is, but when I ate there it was OK. It was very nice, quiet, clean, the people were friendly, and when she first moved in two or three of the people who lived there got a hold of her and asked, " Is there anything I can do? We want to be your friend." Yes, it's very good.

Both my parents were at Royal Plaza. My Dad was in the care center there and my mom was in the assisted living side. The care given on the assisted living side is excellent. They have well trained professional staff on duty. They provide a wonderful variety of activities and the meals are well prepared and presented nicely. Everyone who lives there becomes like family and the atmosphere is positive. The care side was not exactly a good experience for our family. They do have a wonderful activity director and the meals were good. The physical therapists are wonderful. We felt the nursing needed to be improved. Otherwise, Royal Plaza is a wonderful place to be and I still enjoy going there to visit people.

The Royal Plaza is excellent. The staff is trained. My mother-in-law was not a nice person, but people took care of her. They did the best they could. They’re just angels. They get her up, bathe her, and comb her hair. This is where I’d want to be.
