My mother has moved into Greenwood Place Retirement Community. I really like the staff, and it's very clean. I like the atmosphere. We didn't get to go in; we just looked through the window. The grounds were well kept. It was immaculate. The staff was awesome and very accommodating. You can call them and they let us talk to her because she doesn't have a phone in her room. They're really wonderful. I went down there Sunday and didn't call and say I was coming, but they got her ready. They are really kind. The menus are fine. The staff made some banana pudding and that was delicious.

I went to look at the Greenwood Place Retirement Community. The lady I talked to was very helpful. I told her all my wife's conditions and needs, and she thought that they could help her there. She listened and explained things very well. The place was very clean and nice. The people were very friendly. I really liked it. She said they had 30 rooms. I have no complaints there whatsoever. They had a TV in a room where they could sit and watch TV. My concern was my wife's health and mobility problems. She's on oxygen, and they said that wouldn't be a problem. My wife's medicine would have to come through them, and that was very informative. Medicines would come in packages according to the days and times. I was impressed with the decor. It was very nice. I thought the price was very reasonable.

We liked Greenwood Place Retirement Community very much. The room that we looked at and everything was great. The staff during the tour was really good. Everything was really good. The room that we saw that we had thought would be great for my parents was almost like an apartment, so it would be bigger than just a single room. It was bright. Everything was well taken care of. The only drawback and it's not a drawback is that the halls were long. My mom who's on a walker would have a long walk, but I think that the staff would help with that, so I don't think that would be a problem. The residents were eating as we were leaving, and I did not even pay attention to what they had. The staff was very patient with us.

We toured Greenwood Place Retirement Community. The people were very friendly. There were several rooms inside to sit and everything, but I didn't feel like there was a lot of outside space. It was very dated. The carpet was dingy and old, and the rooms were very small. The staff who gave the tour was fantastic. She was very helpful, very knowledgeable, and very kind. The place just looked very outdated and dingy. It was beautiful outside, but it was very dated inside. There was a patio, and they said that you could walk outside. There was a big yard in the front area, but it was by a main road, and there wasn't much else.

We liked everything about Greenwood Place Retirement Community. The people were very nice, they talked to us and explained things to us. They spent a lot of time with us and they made us feel very comfortable. The place was very clean. Everything was up to date and they made it very safe for the residents to get around with the grab bars on the hallways. They had a courtyard and a garden. They also had a lot of activities like prayer services.

My grandmother will be moving into Greenwood Place Retirement Community. What I liked most is their residents were very lively and upbeat. They're laughing and joking around. The supervisor was there. The communication above all else was phenomenal. It was the best I've had at anybody I checked out. They answer all of your questions. The minute I talked to them about getting her in there, they went out of their way. Before I even got home, they had all the answers for everything for me. Everybody gets their own room. There are no shared rooms. They have roll-in showers, so it's not even a walk-in. They have a community vegetable garden outback. They have a place for people to sit out and watch the birds. They have a piano in there. They have music in there, and the woman was playing the piano. It was lovely. I got there at lunchtime and they were preparing meals and I have a food background. I have an Associates in baking pastry and a Bachelors in Hospitality Management and they observe food safety practices like washing their hands, they're right on the spot with the cleanliness in the kitchen, and everything was labeled. It's great. It's very well kept.

My tour at Greenwood Place Retirement Community was good. The staff was nice and I met the owner and his daughter, they work there. It was a nice community, but it was too far for our family members to drive. It's quiet, it's right off the main highway. It's nice, clean, and fixed up nice. All the rooms also look nice. You walk in the front door and there's the dining area. It had tables and chairs, and people were sitting around talking. It had a big and nice kitchen area and the rooms are also nice. I looked around from a small suite, to a modern suite, and a double suite, and everything was nice with the way it's set up.

Greenwood Place Retirement Community looked and smelled like home. It did not smell like a nursing home or a hospital or any other facility I've been in. The residents were also happy, smiling, and talkative. The staff interacted very encouragingly with the residents, and everybody just really seemed to be at home. Some of the employees called their residents grandma, grandpa, or gram. They're always very courteous, always very polite, and industrious, and still, there was that hint of personal touch that each of the residents got. The rooms were great. They're beautifully arranged, very clean, and comfortable. They're not small., Several of them had their own bathroom, and that was a plus. If they're not ADA, sometimes there's a small lip into the shower, but most of them have the zero-entry, so a wheelchair could go in. They're just really nice. The dining area was also lovely. It looked like a church center, with tables of four and it's set up in a way that everybody's served. They were finishing up their dinner when I got there. The food smelled delicious and wonderful, and the dessert looked great. They have a wonderful backyard that was fenced in and no way out, but there are benches, swings, and canopies that you could walk outside. You could sit outside on the deck or you could sit outside in the greenery. The landscaping was phenomenal. It looked manicured, but the best amenity was that I could go and come as I choose to, and take my husband out as often as I want. I just have to sign the book out and give an approximate time that I'm returning. So, that's the best option for me. I would rate it a 5 on management, appearance, and care availability. There's a doctor that comes in too and does rounds. There's a beauty parlor, a barbershop, and weekly trips as well.

My mother is in Greenwood Place Retirement Community. The facilities are nice. The people are nice. The rooms are adequate. It met our needs. The only complaint I have is the food portions and the quality are just minimal. They have crafts and they play bingo.

Upon visiting it was clean and everything seemed to run smoothly. Unfortunately I found out they are short staffed. They had only one staff working at night. Residents that can care for themselves may do alright. Personally I regret my decision to place a family member there. What you see and hear are not always what it seems

We chose Greenwood Place Retirement because it was very nice. They were very nice, informative, and showed us around. It was a very good visit. They took us to another community in Dublin as well. The apartment they showed us that my dad would have was a very nice private room with a bathroom. It was very clean, and we were satisfied with it. They do everything for the residents and have physical therapy come, housekeeping, and so on. The staff we talked to was very knowledgeable and did what she could to help us make a decision. She also takes the residents to the doctor for their appointments. We chatted a bit with some of the CNAs, who were very nice.

I asked my husband about giving up our home and move in at Greenwood Place, I was so impressed. I only met 2 of the staff members, and I didn’t see a lot of staff members at that time, but they were informative and helpful. They have a garden, and it was awesome. The dining area was beautiful. The best description I can give is that it looked like something out of a good housekeeping or one of your upscale magazines. The décor was beautiful. My husband and I plan to move in here.

My sister is a resident at Greenwood, it took her a month or so for her to get adjusted to assisted living. She has now made friends and loves the staff that works there. especially Carla and Teresa. Her room, bathroom and clothes are kept clean. Her medication is properly given so that's a worry we don't have. The food is delicious especially when Teresa or Carla cook., I must applaud the staff at Greenwood they always make me feel welcome to visit.

Greenwood Place was very, very good. I liked the owners. The owners were there and they spoke with us. They were very courteous and nice. The size of the room was quite large. It was nice. It had a living area and a separate bedroom area. The only disadvantage was that it was some distance away from Dublin, which is the main city for shopping and for other activities. Other than that, it was a very nice location. The people were very nice. The facility was up to par. They had like a big gathering room, and they had a TV there. They had a piano there, and they have gatherings. They had arts and crafts.

Greenwood Place is local and in the town that my father is in all of his life. It is a nice place. The facility is fairly new so everything is really pretty, and has some good reviews from our friends. The place is very clean and the staff has been very accommodating and very nice to us. My father has possibly a few more issues with some of the people that are there. The main factor that we had is there were actually other residents that he already knew. The rooms are nice, really pretty, and good sized. It's not too small and it has an adjoining bathroom. The bathroom is large enough for his motorized wheelchair and he is able to get in and out of the bathroom without having to walk in. He can walk on his own, but it's painful for him. The bathroom is large enough and it's handicapped accessible. They check on him on a regular basis. We're very pleased with them. During the Christmas season, they decorate it beautifully. I know that they have church service every week, little exercises, they have TVs where they can go watch together. My daddy is not a game player very much, so he doesn't really get into all of that. He's got several of his friends that are there, and they sit around, talk and do things. He's very sociable, but he's just not a game player.

My mother's primary care provider suggested Greenwood Place. It's a beautiful building. My mother is very happy there. She gets great care. The staff is good. I like them. I have eaten there at one time. My mom would sometimes like the food and sometimes she would complain but that's normal for my mother.

My husband and I had been looking for a place for mom for 6 months and we were sent information for Greenwood. We went out to Greenwood and we liked it. They have been wonderful. Mother has been there for 6 months and I could not have asked for anyone to have been any better to her. When mother went in back in December 2012, we did not know that my husband was sick. We did not find out until March 18th and he passed away on April 8th. We had to be in Atlanta at that time and Greenwood took excellent care of my mother. The place is excellent and very clean. In fact their health rating is 100. My mother is kept clean. She gets 3 meals a day. She had glaucoma many years ago. She was given drops and I didn't think she was getting the drops in. This year when I took her for an exam, the pressure was lower than it's been in years. So they're making sure that she gets her eye drops 3 times a day. She has made some friends there and she calls it home now. I brought her back down to her house on mother's day and she said that she does not think she want's to come back down there anymore. She's happy with Greenwood and I'm happy. I don't know what I would have done without David and Tanya during this time.
