I visited Addington Place of Dublin. They were small apartments and several different sizes. They have one that you could go out the back door and have a little porch that you could just sit around and it was nice. I like everything about that one. They had a lot of KitchenAid from the station where the ladies would cook meals. The staff was nice. I have had no complaints about her and I don't have any questions asked. She tried to be helpful. Addington Place was very clean. I met one of the cooks. She's very sweet and bold. Everything around it was so clean. The dining area was set up very nicely. They were having dinner about the time that I went in and people were sitting at the tables and it's like a restaurant-style place.

My dad will move into Addington Place of Dublin. I like it because it feels more like a home situation. There are more activities, and there's more space for my dad to move around throughout the facility. There's a courtyard where he can go in and enjoy, and there are rocking chairs out front where he can go and rock if he'd like. There's a common area where people can gather. Overall, I just felt like it was going to offer him more opportunities to socialize and be amongst other people. The staff who gave the tour was very kind and very helpful. She has gone out of her way to make sure that everything is taken care of. If we had questions, she made herself available, whether she was there or not. It has been fantastic. The room is perfect for my dad. There's enough space for him to have an area where he can sit and watch TV, and then he has a bedroom area. It's spacious and perfect for him. They have a wide open dining area. It's a very nice area.

It was nice. The facility was very, very clean. They had very adequate space and a lot of amenities for the seniors there. I also liked that they had on staff medical assistance should any problems arise. That was one of the main concerns that we have. The menus that they have for the tenants were very good. It was easy to access, to get to the members of the family if we decided that would be where we want to take my aunt. It was nice. I looked at the menu that they had on the board for that day of the week, and it was very good. They had very comparable meals that I thought she would like and were nutritious.

It was very well appointed. It was a newer place in Dublin. The people were very knowledgeable. The place was clean; no smells. My main drawback about it is they don't have a large common area. They offer most of the amenities that you would want. If they don't have it available on their premises, they make it available, someone comes out there for it. They have activities planned daily for the people, exercise, or classes for the people. It was a nice place. The staff members were exemplary.
