My sister is at Magnolia Manor of St Simons. They look after people that need some help with clothing, medications, and meals. They have some structured activities around there. It's a really nice environment. There's a nice area to sit outside on the front porch and in the garden. The staff are very attentive and caring. The room has a small refrigerator. They have a nice front porch and a little courtyard.

We were very impressed with Magnolia Manor of St Simons. The first impression was good. It's clean and homey looking. The employees seemed to be attentive. The director was very accommodating and very patient. We would have gone into that situation had we not had to sell our house first. I had lunch there. The manager sat me with three other people. However, I was not impressed with the food. While we were in the process of looking at the place, they had a cookout in the parking lot where the independent living is, and that was fine. They had good food and music. The facility looked clean and neat. We looked at two-bedroom units, and they were clean with new carpeting. The facilities themselves worked, and the people who took care of the grounds did a nice job. However, my better half thinks the units are a little outdated. She was disappointed.

We had an in-person tour of Magnolia Manor of St. Simons. We liked the cleanliness of it. We liked the location, which is good. We liked the lady who did the tour. She was very friendly and cordial. She did a good job of showing us all of the facilities. It was a good experience. My sister liked it. They had two bedrooms. Everything was good about it.

The least thing I liked about Magnolia Manor of St Simons was probably the size, location, and diversity of work staff. What I liked the best was the cost. Also, the lady that toured me answered all my questions honestly. She was personable. It was just a small place. It seemed clean. They had a chapel, but I didn't see that much.

I'll be moving into Magnolia Manor of St Simons. The overall experience during my tour with them was excellent. The staff that walked me through was very helpful. The condition of the building is excellent, and the landscaping is beautiful. The apartments are very nice. It's available for everything, like shopping. They have all the amenities that all the other assisted living and independent living has. They're very professional. The facility itself is very nice and well-kept. The menus are excellent. The dining area is excellent, too.

My mom was at Magnolia Manor of St Simons. She was in catered living. It's between assisted and independent. She didn't need any help. She was only there for a very short time. Everybody was really super nice and welcoming. The place was kept very clean. Mom said they kept her full; the food was excellent. They need some renovations. They can't handle wheelchairs because they're not handicap accessible. They need to maybe add more handicap accessible features. It was not really that bad, it was just an older place. Also, with COVID, they couldn't do activities. She was staying there for my dad. He only stayed there one day before he passed away. She stayed there because of him, but she really didn't need any assistance. I'm satisfied, but the staff members were limited because of COVID.

Magnolia Manor of St. Simons is great. They did socials and worship. My mother-in-law's rooms is really nice, big, and spacious. The staff is very nice, friendly, caring, and they all know my mother-in-law. They've all gone out of the way to know every person there. They have a really nice dining room, a common area, a big front porch, and a hair salon. Everything's nice. My mother-in-law is very picky but she's eating their food. They're also the least expensive facility in this area and they're the best one. They knock on my mother-in-law's door when she doesn't come down for meals and check on them if they don't show up.

My dad has been here for 2 years. Staff are caring, and have become like extended family. Well-maintained, clean, and lovely campus. They have a wide range of activities, and several annual community events partnered with local church/daycare which are always a big hit. Food is really good, and I like that, while there are mealtimes, if for some reason my dad doesn't want to eat at that time, they are kind about preparing a separate meal or something particularly appealing to him. And there are always snacks handy. They offer transportation to appointments, and have several trips/month to local shops and events.

Magnolia Manor of St. Simons has several buildings, and I toured one of those as well as one of their apartments. I was very impressed with it. The place reminded me of New Orleans. I met several guys over dinner, we were happy, it was quite nice, and the food was very good. The person who accommodated me was wonderful, but I also found it to be quite expensive. There are several buildings that house four apartments each, the apartments were very nice, although a bit small.

Kevin of Magnolia Manor of St. Simons was extremely good. He went out of his way, and I would rate him a 10. They would provide 1 meal a day, and you could purchase additional meals if you want. It was a really pleasant visit. We saw some of the residents, and they seemed to be very happy there.

The experience at Magnolia Manor, the location, and the gentleman that was working there were great, but my friend did not cooperate. The place was nice. The people there were really nice. I liked the room but wish they had a stove. I’ve seen a library and know there was a fairly good-sized yard. There were some people sitting on the porch and others in the front foyer.

Magnolia Manor is further from me, a little older, and only had studio apartments. The staff was very friendly, but it didn’t meet my needs.

We went to Magnolia Manor of St. Simons for lunch. The residents were friendly, and the director, Kevin, was excellent. The personnel were very nice and helpful and invited my husband to a little exercise class that was going on at that time. They have independent living, assisted living, memory care, and hospice care. We were shown the bedrooms, which were adequate and had a walk-in shower. The grounds need some work. It is an old place, and it shows. It needs some landscaping redone.

I visited Magnolia Manor. The head person that took care of the new people that wanted independent or assisted living showed the place to me. It was nice. I liked it. The rooms were roomy and nice. It was very pleasant. They had activities. In fact, right now, they would be having dance class. They had bridge. You could do a lot of walking. We had lunch there, and the food was delicious.

My father is at Magnolia Manor. They're very attentive. My only criticism would be the cleaning staff, and that's just a joke. My father hired his own housekeeper. The staff is accommodating. The place is very homey. He has a few friends there, but he doesn’t socialize very much. There are sufficient activities. The food has greatly improved. They have a new cook, but they still overcook the vegetables, my dad says, but I think that's because they’re mushing them up for the old people.

My brother had recently moved in Magnolia Manor. I was supposed to join him and be in the same place. It was an old facility and a little run down. However, their staff was very well informed. I was only there for two and a half days, but they wouldn't allow my dog, so I had to leave and find another facility. They need to improve on taking care of their property.
