We saw assisted living at The Phoenix at Milton. The person who came in took very good care of me and wanted to know about my family and what my needs were. He was very outgoing and was conscious of the schedule that we had and used all the time that I had available. I didn't try the food, but it was offered and it looked very nice. They showed us the various menus that they have all week long. The rooms were very nice. If you were looking for a single person, there's plenty of room, but I'm looking for mom and dad, so I feel that the bedrooms could be a little bit larger to incorporate a little bit more space for both of them. The pricing seemed a little high compared to the other place that I went to.

Other reviews of the facility talk about how friendly the front staff is and how great the tour of the facility was. I agree with both of those statements. The sales person and front desk staff are very friendly. However, within 24 hours of moving in we quickly learned what was promised/sold to us was very different from the reality. Our experience was a nightmare. Within 48 hours of being there his falls increased, he was rushed to the ER unnecessarily which further confused him, and he drastically started declining. We learned his medication was not being given correctly after many times of talking with the head nurse and staff. The medication errors, poor communication, unnecessary ER trips, lack of programming, was drastically different than what was promised. In addition, though COVID was over, the memory care residents were still eating out of styrofoam with plastic utensils--it is hard enough for them to eat with actual utensils. There was no programming--they just sat in the main room staring/sleeping, and being told to sit down repeatedly. There are some nice staff but so many different staff in and out hired from agencies that they don't get to know the residents. This confuses residents and hampers the care. We moved him after two weeks, in which time he had declined drastically. I hope this review spares another family before they choose to move them to this facility. Shiny on the outside, but full of flaws on the inside.

My father was a resident for over 10 months and this was the absolute worst experience. When we arrived after paying a large community fee there was no heat for 10 days. I had to personally provide a heater. It took over 5 months to have the lock on the door repaired. It took two months to have routine weekly housekeeping service provided which should be done weekly. The management staff is deceitful and lies regularly. The management staff should stay in touch and notify the family of any change with your loved one which they neglected to do. I encourage you not to do business with this organization. Unprofessional and uncaring is my description of The Phoenix at Milton.

Our tour at The Phoenix at Milton was outstanding. The people there were just exceptional in terms of their willingness to help us, talk about what they do and their jobs, and also just the dynamic personalities of the staff. The staff members were outgoing, caring, and friendly. They have physical therapy. They had a wonderful COVID-adjusted dining area, and they had a hair salon also.

I moved in to the Phoenix at Milton earlier this year. My expectations have far been exceeded! The facility feels and looks very luxurious so that drew me in at first, but it's really the people who make this feel like home to me. I am very happy here and feel very safe and loved. I have had some hardships this year and the facility has been overly accommodating and concerned for my well-being and mental health and happiness. You can tell they really care about their residents. It feels like home and feels like family here. Breakfast is cooked to order - feels like you're in a fancy hotel. Friendly residents are here to spend time with and build community. Activities galore! They keep us active and moving.

My mother-in-law transferred to Phoenix at Milton. The whole Phoenix group is amazing, and I can't say enough about the company in general. She says the food is great, the staff is wonderful, they have lots of activities, and she's been enjoying those quite a bit. They're actually able to take the time to Facetime and continue to make sure that they see their family even though they're still not open to the public. They make sure she gets as many Facetimes a week that she would like. The facilities are definitely amazing.

My mother moved into The Phoenix at Milton last December, and it's been great. It's really good, absolutely no complaints, and everything is going really well. The staff is very warm, caring, attentive, and the accommodation is beautiful. It's the nicest facility I've visited. Mom's room is very nice, with high ceiling, she's got plenty of room, it's newer and it's great. The dining area is like cafe dining where they go around and take your order, and you have different options. I've been there for meals a few times, and it's really well done. The chef is really good and mother likes the food a lot. It's a high quality facility with very nice caring people, and a little bit more sophisticated than any other place I was at. It's reasonable in price, they worked with me, and I really appreciated that..

I liked Phoenix at Milton assisted living. It was brand new. It would be a good choice, and it was really nice. It was super clean and very impressive-looking. I love that they always have fresh-baked cookies for the residents. The dining room looked very inviting and the rooms looked really nice. They have a very nice gym, a salon, nice places for movies and recreation, and it looks like they have something fun to do every day. The people looked very happy there.

The Phoenix at Milton is a nice place, so we picked it for our parents. They had everything we wanted in terms of the room and other things. We've had some issues with the staff, but they provide help, including medication management.

I liked it here at Milton, it's cheaper, and closer to where my daughter lives. The food is great, and they have a professional chef. I joined the social hours sometimes, I've been to the luau, celebrating the Cinco de Mayo, and going to visiting musicians. I've gone to Bible study and church service.
