My friend is staying at Madison Heights Evans. They have their own rooms and their own bathroom. They only have 10 or 12 people in each building. I'll give it pretty high ratings. I have been happy with them,so far, except for a couple of things. There are people who should not be working there because it is so draining. You'll have some good nurses and some are bad. It's very clean. They clean the place all the time. It doesn't have a smell or anything. They try to keep them busy. They have been very good about doing things and bringing people in. They did go up on their price, but I still think they're pretty reasonably priced for what they do.

If your loved one has dementia/Alzheimer’s with agitation not use this facility. They are not staffed or trained to handle difficult Alzheimer’s /dementia patients. They will call an ambulance and have your loved one admitted to a psychiatrist facility hours away with limited visitation. But will still charge you for their stay and care. This place is average at best for those with mild cases. Not staffed properly

We toured Madison Heights Evans. I was just impressed with the one who gave us the tour. They were out mingling with each other. They were being supervised. They were not just sitting in a room and looking at the wall. They do a lot of stuff with the residents. They take them out to the farm and see horses. The facility was very neat. They were very clean and did not smell like urine or anything. The facility was well-kept. Everyone was friendly and we were introduced to everybody that we saw. They were talking to the residents. They weren't just looking at them. They were just having interaction with them.

Madison Heights Evans was the first place I went to and it gave me a very good guide as to how to compare the rest of the facility. It was a little smaller and I liked it. It didn't have any smell. The staff were engaged with the residents. It was a little farther out than I wanted it to be, but it was a nice guidepost compared to other places. The rooms were nice, clean, and bright. They weren't depressing. I can visualize my husband living there without any problem. The person that gave the tour was very knowledgeable. He answered all the questions. He was the one that got me started on what to compare things to. A lot of the residents were in the gathering area. There was a TV on and they were all kind of seated around comfortably. There was one fellow that was out working in the garden. That was kind of interesting.

The upkeep of Madison Heights Evans has been very nice. The rooms are always clean, the kitchens are always clean, and all the staff is very friendly and willing to help. We've not had any problems over there. Daddy has moved into their memory care. So far, he has not complained about anything. Just recently they had some children to come over there and they had like storytime with them, and they had a gentleman come and sing, Some ladies were painting St. Patrick's Day stuff, and they did some decorations and things like that. Then one day, they had them plant some seeds, so they'll see if they can get them to grow. They've been having a lot of good activities with them. They have a place to sit and watch TV out in the common area. Generally, the activities director, when she comes in, plans out whether or not they're going to have games or cards or whatever, but they don't have a game room type thing. The building has been clean, and the rooms are clean, and they're doing Daddy's laundry, so I'm satisfied with them. The activities director has done very well. She is great over there. I have been happy with them. Daddy seems to be content, so that makes me happy.

Madison Heights Evans was very good. They're renovating the last building. Each building contains different levels of care. It's small and quaint. It's nice. This is a nice place. I like it. The staff is very nice. The room was very nice. I looked at a studio, and it's a nice size and clean. The window overlooked the courtyard. The courtyard is nice and fenced in. There are chairs out there, they have a grill and things, and they do a lot of activities out there especially when the weather is nice. The staff was friendly and informative.

My mom has been in Madison heights for about a month & a half now, I absolutely love it & my mom is living her best life. Billy & Scott made her transition from being at home with us to moving there so smooth. They are always willing & ready to help us out if we need something or have a question. Mom has two incredible ladies that I have met that take care of her Melissa & Bianca those two are absolutely amazing & deserve a raise. They also put up to date stuff of the activities that they do with the residents Kelly is awesome at making sure that family members get to see there loved ones every day & that is something that I love. They do so much I really appreciate all that the staff at Madison heights does for my mom & other residents. I would recommend them to anyone honestly cuz if they weren't my mom would not be there.

My mom is in this facility and loves it very much. After taking care of my momnfor several years my sister and I had to make the hard decision to put our mom in a memory care place. Madison heights has made the transition so easy for us and has treated My mom so well.

Unprofessional, under staffed, unclean rooms, pictures to prove this, doesn’t change diapers as often as should. Bad experience, I highly advise people to do some research and check on loved ones regurarly!

Madison Heights Memory Care Community was an older place set up as houses. Each house had a closed-in yard. The furniture had a rundown look, and there was a little bit of an odor there. The space was a little small. They had nursing staff and trained staff available. The director and staff seemed really nice. They had a nice number of activities.

Madison Heights was an older facility, so it was not as nice, but the people were nice. I liked the people, and I liked the place. We had considered this place, but one of the reasons why I didn’t pick this place is where it was located. It was a farther drive out, and I’d like to go visit my mom every day, so it was just going to be too much driving to way out there. And then, there was no monitoring in the room. My mom tends to get up and try to walk at all times during the day, and I was worried that she would fall and nobody would know that she had fallen for a while. They can improve just by having bed monitors or some kind of motion detector to tell when a resident gets out of the bed, so they could address it more quickly for safety purposes.

Madison Heights was good. It’s what I was looking for -- something small. The rooms were efficient, except in the closet space. That is the only problem they had there; they didn’t have big enough closets. The dining area was very nice. The staff was very friendly and very helpful.

Madison Heights was very nice. I liked the facility a lot. They have very good staff -- who were very qualified, helpful, and nice -- and very flexible apartments. It’s very user-friendly and very helpful for the elderly. Their prices were very competitive.

Madison Heights was fairly new when I went to visit with the cost of care starting out at approximately $5000 a month. I talked with the staff, and they have followed up as far as not only phone calls, but I'm on an email distribution that they send out monthly. I found them to be very interested in the potential of us using their facility. It's a very nice facility physically. Some of the areas of their various buildings were not set up at that point for taking any new residents there -- no furniture, no pictures on the wall, etc. -- but as it deals with the growth of their program, obviously the physical state of the facility will improve. We did look at one of the rooms, and it was certainly very adequately furnished and very simple. The safety/security precautions of the facility were very impressive, and overall I was favorably impressed with the staff that I did meet.

My husband is at Madison Heights. The facility looks really nice and up to date. With the activities, he does some exercise, and they also have card games.

My mother is in Madison Heights, and the ratio of help is good. It is brand new, and they have activities all day long. It is a small facility; only 12 rooms per building. They have therapy, exercise, crafts, and devotional. They have supervised baking, cooking, and things in the afternoon. The staff was wonderful, very caring and patient. The food is not what we eat, but everybody seems to like it. I would recommend the facility.
