My parents are here. The people there are nice, and it's working out okay. They are in a 1-bedroom, but they also have 2-bedroom and studio style living. They have a common area that has a library, some TV viewing, and games. The staff is good. It's all on one level, and it seems fine.

Exceptional Well-Being There is a perfect balance between independence and support ? assisted the living. As you or a loved one age, there are certain tasks that become more challenging and other activities that become easier. At Cedarhurst, our goal is to accentuate what brings joy and provides comfort around tasks that have become more difficult. Filling the downtime between wellness programs, social outings, and visits from family, there is exceptional care from a talented and caring staff. Our approach to assisted living is shaped by respect and understanding of the unique lives of our residents. We've created a community with a multitude of services (also known as Levels of Care) and it is up to you, your family, and your doctors to determine what aspects of your life you want/need additional assistance with. Our trained healthcare professionals use their expertise and genuine respect for our residents to serve you in ways that encourage independence, dignity, and individuality. We want nothing more than to foster your sense of happiness, give you the experience of a life well lived, and protect your health and safety while doing so. True Person-Centered Memory Care There is a world of potential within every individual at Cedarhurst. Each day is an opportunity for our residents to have an amazing experience with the community around them. The key for our Memory Care is uncovering each of our resident's unique capabilities, and working with them daily to support their best life. Our highly-trained staff employs a technique called Person-Centered Care. It takes a personalized, scientific, and comprehensive approach to understand our residents. We start by developing a full profile of each resident that includes his or her history, family background, dining preferences, sleeping, and activity periods throughout the day. By building relationships with each resident we are able to use our training to assess his or her abilities. Together, our residents and our staff come to recognize the way to enhance the value in an individual's daily life. We're able to provide true person-centered care, where a resident is encouraged to use every ounce of his or her independence as long as possible. We also integrate on-site therapy into our residents' lives. If our profile and personalized knowledge of a resident leads us to identify a need for speech, occupational, or physical therapy, we'll find a way to integrate those support systems into someone's day. Therapy can be delivered as a part of other community activities or customized for one-on-one engagement and interaction. We also offer other forms of therapies including Music & Memory, Ageless Grace and Pet Therapy. The fact of the matter is that this approach to care takes more time, energy, patience and focus than what one might find in a more traditional assisted living or nursing home setting. We wholeheartedly believe that this method is the best way to enhance our residents' lives, as Person-Centered care honors the dignity of the individuals we serve. To learn more about this provider's license and review other available state reports, please visit: Georgia Healthcare Facility Regulation - Find a Facility

We chose this community for my parents. We're on a waiting list. I like the fact that it was a small facility. It was very clean, and the residents seemed to be well taken care of. The people that worked there were very pleasant. I talked to some of the residents and they seemed very happy. I liked the fact that there was an outdoor atrium that they could enjoy, and a screened-in porch. I saw a room, the dining area, and a living area that they had.

We toured here for my mother. It was very nice. It was really pretty and clean. I liked it a lot. They have bingo, games, movies, and all kinds of activities for the people to do.

The people seemed nice here. Whenever we came in, there were happy to see us. The food was good and the dining room was nice. The environment was really clean.
