In the short term that I've been at Mariana Home Care, I would recommend it to anybody. They take care of you very well. They feed you well, and I get baths and showers every single day. If I have any problems during the course of the day, I just call and somebody's here right away. This is a great place. If you have to be in a place like this, this would be the one. The food is very good. They give you enough food and a lot of variety. They have three courses a day. Usually breakfast is cereal, bacon and eggs. For lunch, it depends on whether you're going to have a big meal for lunch. If we're going to have a small meal for lunch, in reverse for dinner we have the big meal. We'll have sandwiches for lunch or a hotdog, and then dinner we'll have usually a vegetable, potatoes, and some sort of meat. It's nice. I have one room (10 x 12 maybe), but it's OK for me. I have my dresser, and it's got all my clothes in it. My TV is sitting on top of it. I've got a hospital bed (my preference). I have a little nightstand that I brought. I've got a chair recliner that I'm sitting in right now and a really good sized closet. When the time rolls around, I'll be bringing in some of my winter clothes. There's only one person really working here. She takes care of all five of us, and then we have the owner who helps out when the other lady is off for the day. She'll come and do everything that the gal does that works on a daily basis. She'll pitch in for her. The facility is very well kept and absolutely clean. It isn't that expensive because no matter where you go, it is expensive. It's not bad. I'm sure that I can't get it any lower.
