We love the Landing of Winder. It is a beautiful place with wonderful staff. And one excelling feature is the food-a -personal chef and a big variety of choice. There are a lot of activities to fill your day with fun and friends, and then you can retreat to your own room for quiet and maybe a little nap.

I toured The Landing of Winder. I liked it. It was an awesome facility and beautiful. My visit was very informative. It was actually wonderful. It's a beautiful facility and a very calming atmosphere. It's one of my top lists right now. It was an absolutely wonderful place. I liked the calming atmosphere there and the design of the layout for the residence. It's very simple. I think less is more, especially since it would not overwhelm my father. It would be easy for him to find his way around. They had a movie theater and an outside garden. Their dining halls are nice. They have one on each floor and their programs. They have an interactive program. It's some kind of computer where you can do memory games for family and residence. The executive director was outstanding, very informative, and pleasant.

We went to The Landing of Winder. It's probably the same as the other facility. It's three stories, and it's beautiful inside, but the one thing that's a little bit better is that they have studio apartments available. The lady who did the tour was very nice and very knowledgeable. The people that were working there seemed happy. They have a lot of activities. They have an activity room and physical therapy. They have a little store that is run by the residents. They have a place for them to get a haircut.

The Landing of Winder was a beautiful facility. I was looking for my dad and they had a lot of great programs and a lot of great activities. I felt like the care that they give each resident is greater than that of some other facilities. They seemed to have a good ratio of employees and nurses to the residents, so I felt good about that. The thing that stuck out for me is that they offer not only assisted living and memory care but they offer transitional care, which is kind of in-between both, so it kind of gives the resident the best of both worlds (assisted living and memory care) and that's what I was looking at for my dad. It looks like each program is very individualized or tailored to each individual. I know they do some type of therapy that kind of helps people go back and recollect things and review their memories, they kind of go to different places, places they may have been, or places they may have visited in the past. They kind of go back to those places virtually and it helps to kind of get in touch with the memories they may have had before. All in all, I would highly recommend The Landing of Winder.

The Landing of Winder was brand new; they had just opened up in January. I enjoyed my visit. It was a beautiful community. The room is spacious and the location is not too far from me, and I really liked it. I saw other communities, but this one I really liked.

My husband moved into The Landing of Winder two days ago. It's great. It's wonderful -- really, really nice. They have exercise, cooking, and a Super Bowl party -- just a lot. I can eat with him if he makes special arrangements for special rooms. It is expensive. They have a salon, a therapy room, a massage room, a place for a doctor, an outdoor area, and an activity room.
