My husband is now at Ivy Hall at St Ives. It is really nice. They know what they're doing and they do everything. A lot of things are included in the price; it is really reasonable. The residents look content and very happy. I'm pretty happy and pleased with everybody. Also my husband really enjoys their food. He just got there yesterday, so I don't know about their activities. His room is homey and a perfect size. The decoration is old, but old people don't care about modern decorations anyway. The building is nice, very homey, and all on one level. It is perfect.

St. Ives Memory Care was very nice. It was clean and was one of the better memory care facilities that I toured. The staff was very helpful and I liked the person that I spoke with there. They also had a nice porch for the residents, a salon, and a very nice dining room.

St. Ives is where we ended up sending Dad. It is fine. It is bit more modest than others, but where he was -- which was more extravagant -- he really could not take advantage of some of that. At St. Ives, they are clean. Dad is very clean. They seem to be very caring. He is probably cleaner than he has been in awhile as far as showers and things like that. It is very nice. They do not have a big activity room, but at the level of memory care that most of the people need there, that’s probably not extremely important. They don’t have a high activity schedule as some of them have, but they do have some activities and community enrichment. Churches come in, and players will come in on occassions, so I’m satisfied. I have not eaten there, but I have been there when Dad was eating. They have a pretty nice lunch that is large and a smaller dinner. It’s fine.

St. Ives is excellent. The staff is very caring. It is an older community, but it is an excellent community, and it is in a very well-located area. I would recommend other families to research it, absolutely. The food seems to be very good. The rooms are excellent.

I almost put my husband at St. Ives. I really liked it. It was very nice. I did not try their food, but the dining area looked wonderful. It looked kept up as if you were in a restaurant. Everything was very clean and very organized.
