If you are looking for a memory care facility for you love one look no further than Legacy Ridge of Alpharetta. They were so loving and caring to my husband who had dementia. It hard enough putting you loved one into memory card but these people love their residents and so don't hesitate for a minute to put them here. When looking for a facility look for the care being given and the length of employment of the staff. The first time around we looked for the beauty of the building and the staff was terrible. When we came to Legacy Ridge we looked for the staff care. You can bring your love one here and know that they are trained to handle your love one. Look for Teepa Snow training in the facilities.

I toured Legacy Ridge at Alpharetta. I loved it and was ready to go with it. My only drawback there was the square footage of the living place. I will hardly be able to fit any furniture because it's so small. They had a small refrigerator in it, the countertop wasn't a lot of room, and the kitchen didn't have a lot of storage space for dishes and tableware. The staff who assisted me with the tour was wonderful and very personable. He introduced me to everybody that we came across and the staff was really friendly.

My mom is in Legacy Ridge at Alpharetta. It's an assisted living care facility, as well as memory care; mom is in memory care. It's a very small community with maybe 30 people. It's very small, very, very nice, newly renovated, and the staff is great. They do a lot of different things, especially in the memory care unit. They play a lot of games like bingo and things of that nature. The thing I like about them is they make sure that even TVs are on old TV shows, nothing current, no news, and things that would disrupt people. They do physical therapy, and they have brain games to keep them engaged. It's very good. And of course, they need them to do those things and make sure they're moving around and not in the rooms all day. My mom's on a special diet so it works out well. The social activities are basically games, and they eat together. Obviously, in memory care they don't go out. There's an outside porch that they can go to and enjoy the sunlight, but it's all controlled access. They make sure they get them outside to get some sun. They also manage the meds and things of that nature. The place is newly renovated. The value for money for health care in memory care is somewhat challenging.

I went to Alto Senior Living of Alpharetta and there's not much parking available for visitors. I didn't think it was as well laid out as the other place. The person that showed me around was lovely. I liked her a lot. They didn't have the caregiver to resident ratio that I was looking for. I just asked a few questions and I didn't really see that much. The ratio of caregivers to residents needs to be more, and they don't have dedicated caregivers. They do a little bit of everything, and I didn't like that.

Charter Senior Living of Alpharetta is a nice and well-run facility. The people are very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. We were shown several types of apartments, like efficiency and 1-bedroom apartments. They were nice, spacious, and certainly adequate for two people. The location is okay and it was definitely a first-class operation. It was clean and well-maintained. I was very pleased.

My father was in assisted living at Charter Senior Living of Alpharetta. The overall experience was very good. Everything was very clean and very accommodating. It felt like home. The staff was very friendly, very loving, and caring. They're very attentive to the needs of the family and my father. The price was very good and competitive for what they had to offer compared to other places who offer similar things. The location is 4.5 miles from my house, so it was very convenient. They have a very nice dining area and a menu that the tenants can select. If there is nothing on the daily menu that they like, they have regular choices that are more popular. If the tenants have any particular dietary needs, they adjust for those as well. It was appealing to me that the staff, especially the administrative staff, had been there for a long time. They seemed to have been in the senior living business for a considerable period of time, so they had a lot of experience with senior living.

I visited Bickford of Alpharetta and liked the room. My mother would have been on the second floor. They had a little outdoor place where you could walk outside. The girl that took me around was wonderful and very personable. We got along fine. I would consider it for my mom. The staff reduced the rate, and that was good, but we had already put my mom in a facility around that time.

Bickford of Alpharetta is a very nice place. It's very convenient and I go that place a lot. The residents were doing some craft work in one room and the residents seemed content. The staff is excellent. I think everything they are doing is good.

Bickford of Alpharetta is just overwhelmingly peaceful and loving. You can just feel the warmth of the people there. It is a beautiful place, and it just felt like home. The receptionist is absolutely wonderful. She makes you feel like a million dollars because she is so sweet. I would say that 80% of the service is good. The reason for that is because they are in the middle of a turnover of directors there. Some of the people when there is no director are like the mouse that plays when the cat is away. A few of the helpers there are kind of lax right now. They don't do exactly what they are supposed to be doing. But overall, I love the community and so does my husband who is the one that is from there. I am happy with the place, and once the director comes in, things would straighten out. The place is absolutely wonderful, and the people are wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place. The warmth there is just unreal. The food is very good, and patients are wonderful. One of the best parts is that if you have a pet, they allow you to bring the pet with you. If it is a dog, they will take it and walk it out for you. They have a little basket with the pet's name on it where they keep treats for it. This place is just a goldmine that a lot of people don't know about. I'm quite sure there are other good communities out there, but I love this one.

The Bickford of Alpharetta was very nice. This was at the top of my list, but it was out of my price range. Everyone was very nice when they gave us the tour. They have a very small lot, and it is behind the McDonalds, but it was absolutely gorgeous inside and very clean. The lady who gave us the tour was very nice, accommodating, and compassionate. She had a lot of empathy. I really liked it. Everything seemed very nice. They have their own bus, and they have a calendar of events.

I chose Brickford for my mother because it is family owned, and I like the overall care. The work attitude of the employees is very positive. They are very friendly. The rooms are very nice. Everything is very nice. It looks like a home as opposed to an assisted living location. The food is good. They have a lot of interaction outside and internal activities. They have different things to keep everyone going.

Bickford had great activities for the seniors. The day I was there, they were having a music appreciation class, and the instructor was playing the harp, and she had a flute as well. She was not just playing songs. She was giving them historical accounts of the types of music, and that was very informative. I know that they do crafts as well, and I believe they had started a gardening club. I had a cookie, and they gave me some fresh bread to bring home. It was a nice gesture. The administrative staff was very good. We saw some CNAs and were introduced to them. I thought they could have been a little bit friendlier than they were. I think Bickford had pretty good rates.

The Bickford of Alpharetta was a smaller place, it was not huge. It had the hotel-look to it. They had memory care and a whole floor for the assisted living. Their memory care unit was updated with the different guidelines. I looked at the rooms and one of them had a bay window, which we would choose for mom. The food was very good since I had a sample. I was very happy with the visit. The reception was beautiful and they had one of the nicest receptions. People were very welcoming and seemed organized. So far, everything looked good.
