I'm in Rocky Creek Village. It's a nice place, it's not very expensive, the price is good and I like it. They don't have enough parking here. It's something that I don't like about it. You have got to scramble to find a parking place, but I've got one. The staff is good, I have no complaints. They have a diner here, I don't use that, I do my own cooking and shopping. They have a pool, they have a rec room, they have a diner, and they have a laundromat, too.

I enjoy being here in Rocky Creek Village. It's quiet and free from all the traffic and noise. The apartment that I have is very neat and very quiet. I work from home, so I can relax and do my job. Everything is quite alright for now. I've only been here for a short period so we'll see, but as of now I'm very satisfied. They have a variety of rooms, but my room is convenient. The staff is helpful and it's pretty good, there's no hassle. They help me if I have any questions about anything, they would answer in a reasonable and professional manner. They have a nice walking area and the grounds are kept nicely. The area that it's in is relatively secure and safe. They have an area for activities like a pool room or an area we can go and sit down. When it comes to the value for the money, it's reasonable.

Rocky Creek Village was very nice. I was there for two weeks. Some of homes were single and some of them were double. It was setup so that you have either independent living, assisted living, long-term care, or memory care. If you went in as an independent person, you don't have to leave that complex. It would accommodate you and suit your needs. I was quite pleased with the community. The staff and the people were friendly. It was very nice and immaculate. The pool was cleaned every morning, and then cleaned again before the staff went home in the afternoon. They had a swimming pool, a beauty salon, a second-hand store, a bookstore, an exercise room, a pavilion, a dining room, and laundromats in a variety of places throughout the community. On Saturday and Sunday, they would have barbecues, dances, or movie nights in the pavilion. They had a bus that went to different activities and doctors' appointments.
Rather not say. We don't need any harestment.

This place was wonderful when I moved in 2 years ago. They used to have 2 washrooms for laundry. Since then, the laundry rooms have closed down for repairs the first time and now we find out the people that do the laundry for others that live there have broken the machines so they can get there money to do laundry. Secound, it use to be you could have pets. It's on our least. We had to pay a deposit of $300.00 non refundable. Now they set up traps to catch the dogs, cats, and other. They have them spayed and then drop them off. We use to pay $600.00 a month for rent. We now pay $720.00. And that's in less then 2 years. Good luck getting someone to come over to fix something. Took us 3 weeks just to have a stove fixed. They will come into your place when you are not home to check on things. When we asked them about this we were told they had to check the smoke detectors battery. ( Every month )??? We were told it would only cost $ 5.00 for a meal. That was before we moved in. When we did move in we found out it cost $8.00. We understand its going up again. We are on a fixed income. They charge $55.00 for pool membership per year. And if you move in and 6 months have past, you have to pay for the time you didn't even lived there.

At Rocky Creek, they don't take up all your retirement funds. You just pay your rent, and everything else is included, the electricity, water, cable, everything within the community. If you need food you go to the cafeteria and eat when you want or what you want. You just pay a certain amount. The fees are affordable including the amenities. It's a nice community. Everybody look so happy there. They all walk around together. And it's not about the money. They even give you a chance to purchase a house, or a brand new mobile home. You get your own parking. You also get space to have people come over. They have their own medical people and a clinic for everybody. But they need to lower the cost.

My mother-in-law has been in Rocky Creek Village for two months now, and it's all great. The staff is great. If there's a concern or question that we have, it is addressed. There were things that we were looking for like supervision of her medications, and they take care of that. She has ample opportunity to eat at the dining facility or she can cook a little bit. They've met her needs. Everyday, they have something that the residents can participate in if they choose to do so like shopping or eating out. She lives in an apartment, and she has a roommate. They each have a room, and there's a kitchen and a dining/living area. It's very clean. They come in weekly if not twice a week to clean, and they offer the laundry service, make the beds, and change the linens. The staff seem to be very caring. Any needs that mom has that she addresses to them, they try their best to take care of it immediately. If not, they let her know if they need some time to do it or why they can't do it. I'm really pleased with where she is.

I went to Rocky Creek, and that place was really nice because they have nurses and doctors there, a pharmacy, a general store, and a washer and dryer. It's really economical and worth the price. The staff who accommodated me when I toured were very helpful. They had shuffle board, and they had something else going on by the pool when I visited. The grounds were clean.

The staff at Rocky Creek Village was very nice. They showed me two different apartments. They were very clean and nice. It actually served the purpose that we were looking for.

We visited Rocky Creek and my daughter and I liked it. However, my husband didn't like it. They were manufactured homes. They also had the assisting living and nursing home part. It was a nice gated place. It was like a little community. They had stores and beauty shops. They had bus service that took them to places. You could get or not get your meals depending on what you wanted. I would recommend it.

A very well run assisted living/ retirement village. The residents are generally very happy, and they are always well taken care of. Lots of love and giving in this community.

We were delighted to visit the Rocky Creek Village in Tampa while in the vicinity - visiting assisted living facilities in the area for my friend's mother. Our tour of the outside grounds was lovely; there were flowers and shrubs everywhere, with nice seating areas. The staff was very friendly and all seemed to really like their jobs. The main living areas were fresh, clean and sunny with a contemporary, yet homey décor. The lunch we saw while there looked really delicious. We were really impressed with the menu selections. The variety of activities offered was impressive. The staff goes out of its way to suggest stimulating things to do - from gardening, to reading, playing games and outings in the community. The rooms we viewed were all very clean, well-kept and inviting - kind of resembling what you might find at bed and breakfast. The gym equipment was in great condition and they also offered exercise classes. The library had a large book selection and was very peaceful and comfortable. Overall, the facility really looked like a nice place for seniors to live, with everything they need right there, with the help of kind and caring staff.
