My mother has moved into Canterfield of Tallahassee. It's a great facility. It's very put together, and it's brand new. The level of care is very high and the facilities themselves are topnotch. It's on a busy street, but they do a very good job of making sure the residents don't just leave. Right now, I haven't found anything specifically challenging with the facility. The staff is very friendly, compassionate, and attentive to the residents and the guests. It's not a five-star restaurant, but she seems to enjoy all the meals there. They're very good at making sure she engages in activities. They have movies, and they have activities twice a day. They have a very good strong activity program.

I toured Canterfield of Tallahassee. The person who gave us the tour didn't seem to have it all together as far as presenting the information to us. We did a complete tour and saw the dining area, living area, and activities areas. The rooms were not as spacious as we needed them to be. They had rooms that had kitchenettes but they didn't seem to be as clean and well kept as they should have been. One thing that we didn't really like was how when you immediately walked in there you were looking into the dining area. That to me was just not very appealing. Some of the things like the carpet and the paint should have been more updated. There were not a lot of areas to meditate outside, it was more of a city-type atmosphere with not a lot of green spaces. We were there during lunchtime, so there weren't any activities going on at the time.

We have chosen Canterfield of Tallahassee. It is a beautiful facility. As soon as you walk in, it's very bright. There are lots of windows, and the colors are light. It's very welcoming as soon as you walk in, and everything is very clean. I like that there are plenty of seating areas throughout the facility for visitors or the residents just to relax, and there's a seating area outside, too. The staff that I've met seemed very caring and knowledgeable. Those were all the things that we took into consideration. The staff who took us around was very sweet and caring. She talked to my dad a lot and didn't just ignore him or anything. She engaged him. She introduced us to the staff that we came across and she introduced us to residents, too. She showed us more than one room to see what my dad would prefer. She was overall very pleasant. My dad and I have eaten there twice when we were there, and the food was very good. The cleanliness is a 5, and the layout is fine. The only thing I don't like there is that they don't have a lot of parking, but I can deal with that.

We went to the Canterfield of Tallahassee. We went over there and looked because we were thinking of moving my parents from independent living to assisted living. We may still have that option. They gave us a really nice tour, I went over there and looked twice, and they were very helpful. The staff was really willing to work with me in getting my parents in there. It looked very clean, neat, and appealing. They had a salon, a courtyard, and a place where they could get out and walk.

I visited Canterfield of Tallahassee. It was a very nice facility. The workers seem to be very attentive, very friendly, open, and caring. The facility was clean, and they seemed to be keeping it up pretty well. It would have been a good location for my sister because it would have been closer to where I am. The other family members would have better access, since it's not that far off of the I-10.

We chose Canterfield of Tallahassee for my uncle because it is a very nice community and it was just built in 2019. The staff has been wonderful so far. I just looked at the menu, and it's much better than what the other places are serving. It's a really nice facility. It's beautiful inside. They had a team of ladies who were cleaning when we went in. Every different part of the facility has a different day when they clean. It's immaculate in there.

My mother-in-law is at Canterfield of Tallahassee. My experience with them is very well, very good. People listen to what her needs and our needs are. She's only been there a week so we don't know everything, but I think that the big thing is being heard, listened to and being part of the plan for her care. The rooms are very nice and very beautiful. It is beautiful and clean. I've been in a lot of them around town and I would say this is right up there. She said the food is pretty good. I know they have some exercise and crafts. The other day, we were there and they were having a meeting with the chef to talk about the meals, preparation, preferences and things like that. The other thing with COVID, things are not running like they normally would. The value for money is good. I don't have a whole lot to compare to, as far as money goes.
