We've decided to keep my dad at Sun Terrace Health Care Center. It's 24-hour care, which is what he needs. All the doctors that he deals with are on staff there. They rotate through there. So everybody he's seen, he's seen them before. It's clean, and they seem to be very efficient people. However, I would like the administrative staff to be more responsive and do what you ask them in a better way. You ask them something and it takes them forever to get back to you. The upkeep of the place is good. There's a library and a rehab, which is the big thing. There is a little courtyard where they walk people around in wheelchairs.

My mom was in for rehab recently. I found the facility very clean, the staff friendly and therapy did a good job with her getting her back to her baseline. We had some communication issues at discharge with social services. A big shout out to those hard -working CNAs and nurses who stopped what they were doing to get what we asked for. A special thanks to Tonya and Cassie who treated my mom like their own family.

My husband was there recently, the facility was clean a a pleasant atmosphere, The staff members were very helpful and friendly, nurse Julie was especially nice and seemed to be very knowledgeable she answered our questions. A special “thank you” to Matt in admissions to he was a tremendous help getting all the necessary paperwork in order and processed, he made it very easy for us to get Everything coordinated and completed in time. My son visited several times and was pleased withthe treatment his dad received. Our only issue was when ready to leave most of his clothes were misSing, I’m hopeful they will be returned.

Although the facility itself is clean, rehab is supposed to make a patient better not worse. My Mom was in independent living prior, she took a bad fall & was in rehab for 3 months (should have been 1) & in that time she was "supposed" to be getting back to herself, he lost 20lbs, she can't stand, walk, or go to the bathroom herself. ALL her clothes were missing, 2 pairs of glasses & her dentures. Good luck trying to reach someone, let alone the patient. Went to visit one day, she was in the therapy room & as I waited in her room I noticed dried up feces in her bed. Needless to say, we got her out as soon as we could & she is now getting the proper care she desperately needed.

Confidence and just regular contact is important. My father may have an issue after talking to him earlier. Now going on 2 hours plus 7-9pm EST of no one at any main line picking up the phone. This is beyond unacceptable and not even having an operator. Never dealt with anything like this.

We have been dealing with Sun Terrace for several years now. The therapy team is excellent. However anything beyond that is horrible! From the treatment of the patients to dealing with the family this facility is HORRIBLE. Save your loved ones from indignant care, horrible sores, and basic elder abuse. Due to COVID that they couldn't control among their staff no one was permitted in to see just how horrible the care is at the Terrace. It wasn't until our loved one died that we were able to get into the facility to see the truth. This has been ongoing - prior to COVID, but we were always assured that there would be a management change- Sadly, in Sun City it's one of the only places around.

Horrible care for my mother. Understaffed, things stolen from her room, eye glasses, flowers and dentures. She developed grade 3 bedsores. No response from staff or management on all issues.

I toured Sun Terrace. The place was clean, it smelled awesome, the staff was friendly, and they went over and beyond to help. However, the price was not feasible for us. The residents were joking. They have daily activities like Bingo, and holiday activities.

The staff is very caring. They honestly treat their patients as if they were family. They are also very good to communicate with the family when they have concerns.

My Mom is late stage of Alzheimers and has recently been placed in hospice care. She has been a resident of Sun Terrace for one year. It is a facility I would highly recommend. It is clean and the staff is compassionate and understanding. They always listen to your concerns and are always available when you need them. They have treated my Mother and Father (who visits daily) like family. They are patient, caring and have preserved my Mothers dignity at all times. I sincerely thank and commend them for all their hard work and professionalism.

We were very pleased with Sun Terrace Rehabilitation Center and we really have no complaints. The facility is very nice and clean. The staff is extremely friendly and they have no problems with receiving suggestions. I am very comfortable them with. Mom is a semi-private room and it's very clean. They allowed us to put pictures on the wall to make it very homey. They also have activities every day.
