We love the Riverside Cottages. We feel like it's very homey, and they have lots of staff. Mom was not finding anything she liked, so they drove to Chick-Fil-A and brought her Chick-Fil-A to see if she would eat it. So, they're trying very hard to make her comfortable. She, on the other hand, is not comfortable, but we like it a lot.

My friends will be moving into Riverside Cottages at the Shores. We chose them because they'll never have to find another home to go to. They're leaving the facility they are in because there's no medical care, and old people have medical needs. This place, it's no matter what you go in as. They've got memory care if you need memory care. They will provide because it's not a corporation. They built this out in a neighborhood, and they just offer so much more than anybody else. The laundry gets done at night, and it's returned and hung up in their closets the next morning. Everything's covered, they won't have to have toilet paper, toiletries, sheets, blankets, or towels. They provide everything, even incontinent products, and that's all included in the price. There's breakfast when they wake up in the morning, you don't have to be there between eight and nine or whatever time. When you get up, you go and they'll make breakfast for you, whatever you want. They're just so unbelievable. They've got three different size units, and everything's self-contained. They try to encourage you not to stay in your room, but to come out. My friends are a husband and a wife, and they're going to be in two separate rooms. They encourage you to come out and have community with other people, and they make it very convenient to do that, that'll give them some more interaction with people. The rooms are decent-sized, and they can stay in their room. They've got two beautiful porches and a little reading room. It's more like a home, with no big fluorescent lights in the ceiling, nothing that looks commercial.
