I had my mother here for over a year. She lived in the Memory Care neighborhood. I couldn't have been more pleased with the care that she received! They always took her to the activities to keep her mind active. She was always well groomed and dressed in the cute outfits I brought in for her. Whenever I would visit or take her out for a ride, they'd let me know how much she'd be eating and any appetite changes. I appreciate them still to this day even though my mom has passed away. They still keep in touch with me. I worked in Assisted Living for 20 years and believe me when I say that Jennifer Gardens exceeded all my expectations!

We placed our Mother at Jennifer Gardens thinking it was a nice place. They seemed to have many good reviews and it was clean. We were deeply disappointed, and still struggle with guilt in placing here there. We found our Mother, who prided herself on cleanliness restrained to a wheelchair “for her own safety” in briefs full of feces because she said nobody could help her and she had to go. Her briefs were soaked with urine on several visits. Being restrained in her wheelchair for the entire day caused her impaired mobility, frustration, muscle loss, and a feeling of helplessness. She suffered dehydration while in their care. She had multiple unexplained falls, extensive bruising, and a broken wrist. We found her with dirty hands well after mealtime. We found her with her eyes dirty and full of crust many times. We asked if someone could help her up and walk her every day. Our response was “she wouldn’t remember if she took a walk anyways”. She wasn’t taken outside to see the sun and birds unless by a visitor. There are no windows in the memory care unit except for in her locked room that she didn’t have access to unless she was sleeping or using the bathroom. The food looked good. Often the drinks are served in sippy cups that have to be bit on and sucked, which she never remembered how to use and told us “those don’t work”. We asked that she could at least have a book on her lap, as the days are long, and she can still read easy books. We brought several of her favorites in, but they were always put away in her room. Her glasses weren’t on every day and she needs them to see. The lady who does activities seemed very good, but my Mother has never been comfortable around strangers, and sat alone a lot or next to nonverbal people. No stick bandages were not always used in her tender skin. A few of the staff were very understanding and friendly, but it is severely understaffed there, and they couldn’t give adequate care. We decided to remove her after too many events that left her with no dignity, and she is now in the care of a family member. The saddest part of it all for me is remembering her tell me of the elderly people she cared for for so many years at the hospital she worked at. How you had to be so gentle and kind to them. That they lived long and hard lives and they just wanted to go home. I do not recommend this facility for any human being.

I had an in-person tour of Jennifer Gardens. When we arrived, we had to ring the doorbell several times. Then we waited outside, and nobody came. Then we called the facility. Nobody answered, and the person there said she was unaware of our scheduled tour. They were very disorganized. It was a little off-putting, I guess you could say. After about almost 10 minutes, we were finally able to get in. The physical appearance is very nice. The building is very well maintained. It is on the newer side. The rooms are very decent in size, but it just wouldn't be a good fit for my mom. The people are on the older side, and my mom's still on the younger side. The staff members were very friendly, but they did seem overwhelmed. They had just finished serving lunch and cleaning up from lunch. They showed us their activities, and they have a lot of different activities going on. The activity room looked quite large. They have a walking area out back, so that was nice. The facility was lovely. I just think that they probably need a little more staff on hand.

Jennifer Gardens was excellent. I didn't see anything there that I did not like. It was very clean, and the personnel was very amiable. It was wonderful. I saw both assisted living and memory care.

I liked that Jennifer Gardens was about twenty minutes from my house. The memory care area was excellent. It is four years old and was designed with Alzheimer's in mind, and that caught my attention. However, they had shared bedrooms, and I wanted my mom to have her own room. Then, as I went through the different facilities and saw that the residents were getting along well and so forth, my perspective on that changed. I now think that it's a very good idea. I also liked that you didn't have to bring any furniture. All you had to bring were your clothes, and that was nice. It was small and I really liked that the hospital was just right across the street. It's family owned and they made sure things were good. When I went in, they really checked you for COVID and all that. The dining area was very nice, too, and it was just for the memory care residents, so that was a good thing. There were a couple of ladies sitting on couches, and they were either reading, watching TV, or just conversing. They also had some other activities. The place was very clean. The front part was an older part of the building, but they were doing some renovations on it. The back part of the memory care was brand new, though. It was only four years old, so it was in very, very good shape. I also liked that they had different doctors who would come in once a week. It was good that they had some medical people on call, and a nurse is in five days a week. It was smaller in the assisted living part, but they were renovating. Also, it seemed residents were just sitting around, but the memory care was probably better planned out for the type of resident who was going to be in there. The staff were all very nice and everybody was excellent. They were just very polite, they answered my questions and took the time to talk to me, and I appreciated that very much.

Jennifer Gardens was nice and small. I liked it, that was my second choice because it was small, and it was a more intimate setting because it was just a home. The staff had been there for 17 years, she said. It was clean, the presentation, the room that my father-in-law was going to be in was nice. I could feel that the staff was very knowledgeable. They knew how to handle his care because he is a diabetic and he is a renal patient, so I feel good about it, if I had to choose that one and leave him there. Outside was nice, the little landscaping was nice, and she told me that they had transportation that would have been able to come and take him back and forth to dialysis.

I want to commend the staff for the care they give to the residents. Today I attended the "Drive by" due to Covid. All the residents were so happy to receive the attention of the many cars that drove by waving and smiling to all. Thanks for having that event...it was GREAT!

I toured Jennifer Gardens and it seemed clean and nice. I saw a private room with a bath, and it appeared to offer what mom needs. The receptionist showed me around and it was very brief. I think somebody else should have done the tour, but that's what happened. I only met the receptionist and sme other staff members, but I kind of didn't like her attitude because she made some offhand remarks that didn't seem appropriate. It wasn't a very good tour. I think somebody else should have done the tour, someone who could have provided more information.

I brought my mom to Jennifer Gardens a little over a year ago. She has Alzheimers and was wheelchair bound. I had visited and evaluated every memory care facility from Holiday to Brooksville and found Jennifer Gardens to be the cleanest and most well managed facility with private rooms and lots of activity areas. The staff treated my mom like their own and cared for her with the utmost respect until she passed away yesterday. All of the staff are the best I have ever seen and I would recommend Jennifer Gardens to everyone that wants the best for their family member. Thank you so much for all the support Jennifer Gardens Staff and owners.

I like the small setting and the friendly staff of Jennifer Gardens. My grandmother's individual room is newly renovated and clean. The staff is always available, and the place has a homey feeling. The dining area is nice and open. They assist the residents to their seats and sit with them. They have daily activities, like mind games as well as physical activities.

My mom has been at Jennifer Gardens over a year now and they give her exceptional care and they give me peace of mind. They take her to the doctor, call us with updates on how she is doing between visits and the owners and the staff always show that they really care about their residents. I can't say enough about the care that my mother receives from everyone. She is always well taken care of and Jennifer Gardens gives her a feeling of being at home. Linda and Jack Hughes

We chose Jennifer Gardens Assisted Living for my dad. The place is new and clean, and there is not a lot of residents there right now. I feel it's a very good place. The rooms are spacious and very nice. What I like most about this place is the way their memory care is set up. The staff is OK.

Jennifer Gardens didn't feel as comfortable as the other place I've seen, and they didn't have any room for my mom at that time. They're getting ready to remodel and enlarge the place, so that's a good thing. The staff was very prompt and very pleasant as you walked in. The place was very clean and seemed pleasant.

Jennifer Gardens was a small place with rooms that looked like hospital rooms because they were pretty small with just a bedroom, a bathroom, and a TV. The dining room was OK. The staff seemed friendly, but I would not put my dad in that facility.

It depends on your needs. We are a small, very personal facility and all our rooms are private.

We originally chose Jennifer Gardens because of its size. The size of the community has a home-like feel to it. We had been happy that everyone knows everyone. Whenever I had dealings with the owners, they had taken action right away. The staff was very good and kind hearted. They gave my mother in law the best treatment. They have always been good with her.The food was just extremely average. The cleanliness was topnotch. Overall, the place was kept in absolute wonderful condition.

After visiting several ALF's in the NPR area I chose Jennifer Gardens as it was close to the nursing home my father was in and because of the "family" feeling I felt upon arrival. December of this year will be 4 years my mom has been a resident there and I am so happy to say that I made the right choice by placing her then. While my father passed away in the summer of 2012 and it would be more convenient for me to move her to an ALF across the street from me in Land O Lakes, I don't see that happening. The care that the Singh family and the rest of the staff provide is tops. Residents are also provide withe fresh meals three times a day that are cooked by the two chefs working there. No frozen meals! We visit my mom three times a week at different times of the day and NEVER have we smelled urine. Every single resident is always clean and well groomed. They even have a hair dresser that comes every Wednesday. Every year they have a fantastic party for the 4th of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Again, fantastic food! If you are looking for a very caring, clean place to place a loved one I highly recommend Jennifer Gardens.

My mom has been a resident at Jennifer Gardens for over two years and her stay there can only be described as exceptional. The care and food is outstanding and the staff takes very good care of her daily needs. To date my mom has never complained about anything. I visit my mom about three times a week and i never had to question anything. I always recommend this place to my friends.

Caring for residents and their families requires devoted and compassionate staff. You will find this type of care at Jennifer Gardens. My mother in law has been a resident for almost four years and we truly appreciate the effort and commitment of the Administrators and staff. In addition, my mother was a resident also. Her fragile condition did not allow for a long stay as we would have wished. Nonetheless, the experience was outstanding from the admission to the end of life experience. As a retired Health Care provider, allow me to highly recommend Jennifer Gardens for the care of your loved ones.

My mother fell twice in the same day last year, while I was visiting her in Florida. It became obvious that she could not stay in her condo alone any longer. She had told me that she had visited Jennifer gardens in the past and if she ever could not stay in her own home, she wanted to go there. The administrator came in on a Saturday to make arrangements for my mother to be admitted the following Tuesday. It is quite obvious that the staff cares very much for the residents at Jennifer Gardens. I know most of the staff and have found them to be very personable and helpful. I have found them to be very accommodating.

Jennifer Gardens is a larger ALF that is absolutely wonderful in my opinion. This building is well maintained and has up to date appliances. The staff seemed readily available and the ratio of residents and staff members is more than adequate. There is mostly double occupancy rooms, but there is an option for a private room. The activities person is well adjusted and produces activities that are appropriate for the skill levels of the residents. The décor is of bright colors and is decorated well. The large shower room is very resourceful. With approximately 30 residents this facility is a little larger than a "home", but defiantly has the feeling of a home.
