Lexington Manor at Port Charlotte has a lot more energy in it. There are a lot more people doing things and the facility is extremely clean. The staff and residents alike are just extremely nice. They have several different layouts. What we chose for my mother-in-law was a studio, and they were more than adequate, size wise. We had lunch there and the food was very good. She's been in there and she has zero complaints. She's done several of the activities they have in the facility. She's scheduled to go on one of their bus outings next Monday, so she's more active in it, and that's good. They are probably a little on the pricier side, but it was that way for a reason.

We've been to Lexington Manor Assisted Living. It was very nice. It was clean, very friendly, they had a lot to offer. The rooms were very clean. They were a good size and everything was very clean, spotless. The outside was a nice front veranda. There were a couple of little walking trails. I don't remember going outside the back, but it's all very pleasant. They offered three meals a day with snacks. They had nursing a staff, laundry service, and a wellness center. They had a beauty salon and scheduled outings. They had social activities, and it was a month-to-month rental. They cleaned your room.

Lexington Manor was very nice. Everybody we met was really nice and helpful. Everything was nice. The woman in charge had her dog there at the time. They had the same things as others. They have the game room, the library, and the meeting room and the outdoor area. The people in charge were helpful and nice.

My parents were at this facility for 3.5 years . Unfortunately, this facility has declined steadily in several areas. The food quality, variety and service has dropped precipitously. The general staff tries hard but as they appear understaffed , they seem to have significant turnover and in my opinion the rank and file employees morale has declined . They have had significant turnover in upper level day to day management , the current management staff seems destined to perpetuate the downward trend . The nursing coordinator struck me (I happen to be a physician ) , as woefully out of date on basic knowledge and in fact not only wrong but far worse headstrong and unyielding . They gave us mixed messages as to my mother's return after an extended hospitalization and resulted in great distress to my 86yo mom and significant logistical problems for us as a family . I found them callus as to the gravity of the problems they created for us but much more importantly for the emotional state of my mother . I would not recommend this facility in its current state , we have moved my mother to another facility and she is very happy and often remarks on how much better the food and cleanliness is at the current facility.

I toured Lexington Manor Assisted Living, and they were very friendly. It had a great and happy atmosphere. I went there at lunchtime. I saw the people coming in, and the person that showed me around knew everybody's name. The rooms were a good size. The dining area was quite nice and was split up into tables of four, mainly so they could sit together if they wanted to. I think the layout was fine. I don't think it was that large, so it was easier to get around.

We were very pleased with Lexington Manor Assisted Living. The point person was very helpful, and we were impressed. The rooms were very nicely appointed. We did not choose to taste the meal. The person giving the tour was excellent. It seemed like they are very concerned about their residents. They were very loving, they knew them all by name, and they talked to them. It was a very good experience. They've got game rooms, and they've got music areas. They got everything that we would want Dad to have. The person that met us at the door was excellent, and the person that gave us the tour was excellent.

We like Lexington Manor Assisted Living. It's ne, bright, and looked like a really nice hotel. The apartments were pretty and bright. They had a lot of activities. The dining hall was pretty. Everything was pretty and cheerful looking. The staff during the tour was sweet, informative, seemed interested, and kind. It felt homey, too.

My sister is on a waiting list for Lexington Manor at Port Charlotte. I ate there one time, their service was great, and the food was good. It's a beautiful place and the staff members are very nice, accommodating, and they check on the residents. It's not a really small community, but not too big either, so they're pretty much in touch with every single person there. They have a library and a lot of activities like Bingo, movies, music, and dancing for everyone and all that.

What attracted me to Lexington Manor were the square footage and the price. Everything is included except for transportation to the doctor's office. They also provide the activities and the food. The staff is very positive and very happy to have a job in which they enjoy working with the people. They never show any stress to the family members. We have a studio for my mother. At first, she frowned because she thought it was too small, but then she was surprised with what we got in there. It is more like home. She hasn’t come home since I put her in there; she is enjoying it so much. It is a five-star place, but they should have better toilet paper, and my mom thinks they should provide towels, too.

I have Mom at Lexington Manor. So far, everything has been very good. The rooms are very nice, and the food is excellent. The staff is very helpful, pleasant, and good. My mom loves the place. With regards to their activities, they have bingo and cards. They have several events all day from exercise to dancing. They do a lot of stuff.

Lexington Manor has an absolutely wonderful dining room, exceptional meals, and service, but it’s so enclosed; it’s more like living in a hotel. My mother is in a tiny room, and she had to go to the elevator to go down and bring the dog out. They said they would move her on the first floor, but they kept on bringing in new residents on the first floor instead of my mom. I wasn’t happy with the people that I talked to. I had very little and poor quality contact with her caregivers. I have a very negative opinion of the staff. However, their food was wonderful.

I like Lexington Manor at Port Charlotte. The setting was very picturesque. It was very nice and clean, very convenient, and very modern, and I did not notice any odor.

Lexington Manor is a very nice facility. It is clean, it is not too large and not too small, and they are very attentive to people, the food is good, and my mom is very happy there. They have activities -- bingo, cooking activities, outings; just the usual, normal activities. The care is excellent.

My grandmother chose Lexington Manor for herself. She told me that she likes the food and the people there. I did not really get to meet many of the staff, but the one guy that I did meet was really nice and helpful. She just got a studio room, so it is not very big, but she likes it.

The apartments at Lexington Manor are a little bigger than average, but they don’t have a pool. The facility is very nice and the staff are friendly.

Lexington Manor was very nice. I saw the residents doing activities. They were playing some card games. I remember two employees were waiting for their people to come to start something like crafts. They were great and nice. They took their time and showed us the whole facility. We were there during lunchtime, and they were eating. Everything looked very nice. I liked everything I saw, and should I have had to choose one, it might have been Lexington Manor. My mother-in-law had passed away before we were able to put her in any facility, but I think Lexington Manor would probably be the one that I would have chosen because I thought that was the nicest one that I had been to.

I went to Lexington Manor for a visit, and I guess this would have been my second choice. I didn’t like it because of the busy road that it was right on. The staff who accommodated me was very good. She has been there for several years. The facility looked clean. The rooms were OK. The place is not as cold as some of the others, but it didn’t offer that real homey feeling either.

I had the opportunity to tour Lexington Manor; I was so impressed to see all that the facility had to offer. During my tour I was offered a meal and the food was amazing-restaurant style. I also had the opportunity to visit with one of the residents on the front porch, he had been living here for about 4 years, he described the great staff that provide excellent care, and truly treat you like family!! This is by far the best I have seen in the area for assisted living.

My Mom lived at Lexington Manor for 7 years, she was well taken care of. The staff have all been there a long time and she was "spoiled". The food was excellent, I loved to eat with her because everything was so delicous with many choices on the menu. She was always busy doing activities and trips. She enjoyed it immensely there and she was treated like family by the staff and other residents. I cant say enough about the wonderful staff that cared for her. They completely put my mind at ease. I would recomend Lexington Manor to anyone who is looking for a five star facility to place their loved one!

Lexington Manor didn't impress me as much as the other facility. The rooms were much smaller and also the dining room was in smaller scale. The lady who showed me around was okay. However, when we visited, there were more people in wheelchair going around. The facility was clean, but I think it's older. Everything just seemed old over there.

I stayed at Lexington Manor at Port Charlotte and they kept everything exceptionally clean. The food was very good. They were a little shorthanded, they could use more staff. When you rang for help, you had to wait for 15-20 minutes but that wasn't too bad. I would suggest they hire more staff to help the residents. The girls worked very hard and they were all special and wonderful people. I would recommend this place.

As a healthcare provider myself, I must say this community is one of the best I have ever visited! The residents are all well taken care if, they are happy and the building is all around cheery. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable and there is always someone available to speak with. The building itself is spotless, smells fresh, and is always that way every time I visit my patients there. I have attended events there and the food is delightful! Nothing but GREAT things to say about the best senior living community in town! I would put my own parents there!

This community is absolutely gorgeous! The staff is wonderful and many of them have been working there for years. It was clean and inviting. As soon as you walk through the door it feels like home. I would reccomend this community to ANYONE who was interested in Assisted Living!

Most of the staff was very nice, and the facility itself was also nice. Cleana nd friendly environment. There were many people there living in the facility, and although most were capable of handling themselves (for the most part) some were very obviously in need of assistance. The staff were very helpful to them, and very sweet. It was not like some of the horror stories heard about assisted living facilities or "nursing homes." This was a place I would reccomend sending my own grandmother if the need arose.
