My husband is at The Care Center at Pinellas Park. He hasn't been there that long, and they seem to know what they're doing. They're under new management. It used to be called Signature HealthCARE of Pinellas Park. I've met all the staff on the third floor where David is. They seem to be competent, hardworking, and friendly. He has physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. He has Parkinson's and dementia. He's in a clean room with two beds, which I'm pleased with, and a bathroom. The food was the one drawback. They have a lot going on there.

Terrible rehab services. Short staffed. Impossible to find or reach pertinent staff. Family emails and calls were NEVER returned from anyone in this facility. Parent spent 15 minutes on bathroom floor after pressing/pulling for help. Seriously troubled facility, I would not recommend to anyone.

My wife didn’t like Signature HealthCare. The staff was fine when I talked to them, but my wife said that when I was gone, they didn’t do anything. There were two people in a room and the lady next to her had control of the TV all the time, and it was not very comfortable to her. The price is reasonable though, but they can improve on their staffing.

My brother is in Signature HealthCare. Everybody is really friendly. The room has two beds, and sometimes he has somebody with him but sometimes not. It has a bethroom with a toilet and a sink, and it has a dresser. He shares the use of that dresser; one side is his and one side is for the other bed, and the closets are right next to each other with a divider in-between them. They could go watch TV either in their bedroom or in a main room. They can watch TV in there or read books, sometimes they eat in that room, and people could come and visit there. They have an outside area where they take him outside to go for a walk once in awhile. He's in a wheelchair, but they hang on to him, so he doesn't fall when he's walking. They don't feed them well. For Sunday dinner, I went there and had a bowl of tomato soup, a grilled cheese sandwich, a couple pieces of fruit, and a little fruit cup thing. Maybe my family eats differently or something, but I don’t think that soup and grilled cheese is a meal for Sunday dinner. His doctor chose this facility. He left the hospital after having a seizure, and this is where his doctor wanted him to go.
