NOTE: The one-star rating is only given because at least one star is required to submit this review. My mother stayed at Gracewood for about a year. Gracewood should be shut-down. The nursing staff and CNAs neglect and over-medicate the residents resulting in untreated/unreported life-threatening conditions. The administrative staff could care less about your loved one or you. When I finally got my mother out of that place, they even refused to refund the $$ that was in her Resident account. The lock-down unit is chock-full of psychotic/neurotic/sociopathic/psychopathic/schizophrenic residents . . . so don't even consider it as an option for someone with dementia or Alzheimer's. Finally, anything that is not glued down will be stolen.

This facility is horrible. The cleanliness, the patient care, the level of interest in the patients by the employees. All across the board, it is substandard. At a recent visit, I watched a cockroach crawling across the cafeteria wall and the employee I notified actually laughed when I told them..... Do not leave your loved ones here.
