My mother-in-law moved to Your Life of Pensacola Memory Care. The staff is attentive. They have a good amount of staff to resident ratio. The facility is clean. The rooms are very big and spacious. They have different options in the rooms like you can have a private room or you can have a shared room. They do a lot of activities there for the residents, which I like. They have an on-site salon like a beauty salon where they can do hair cuts and they have a podiatrist who comes and they have a lot of services and activities that they do. They're expensive.

We chose Inspiritas of Pensacola for my mother. It is very clean and spacious. When we toured it, all the residents seemed to be very happy and engaging in activities. The setup is very beautiful like the way they have separate housing. There are three little communities within one. The outdoor grounds are landscaped beautifully and there's plenty for the residents to do. The food is wonderful. The staff seems to be very caring. My mother has not been there that long. We visited her on the 4th of July, and as we walked through the grounds, many of the staff were greeting her by name already. The dining area is very lovely, spacious, well-lit, and well-set up. It's like family style, the way it's done. It's right next to a large living area with a television and comfortable sofas and chairs. It's very homey and warm. My mother's room is well-sized. There's a nice window that looks out into the courtyard with all the landscaping and flowers, and the bathroom is very large, which we appreciate. The staff have all been very accommodating with me. I've had a lot of questions and a lot of suggestions, and everybody has been very friendly, very pleasant and listened to me, and seemed to care. The facilities are very clean. It smells beautiful in there. Everything appears to be new. It's just really well done. They've got a fitness director as well as an activities coordinator, and from what I have seen, their activities seem to be a 5. It's expensive, but you get what you pay for. We wanted Mom to be in a place where she was getting great care. It was also convenient for me to come to see her.

I was asked to share my experience about my visit, and I can definitely say that I was glad that I came to Inspiritas with my family. It is not exactly an easy task to shop around for where somebody's grandparent may live, but I think the staff at Inspiritas (mainly Adam) actually made it an uplifting experience which was also exciting. My family was impressed by the activities that are available to residents and how clean the building is since our biggest concerns are whether or not my grandma will have enough to do and if the staff will be able to make sure she is in a healthy environment. We thought it was really thoughtful to see events like a Superbowl party planned out.

My friend's relative lived here through the "Yourlife" days and since Inspiritas has taken over care, food, and happiness have all taken off! We have come for their great events multiple times.

I visited a friend here, she had Alzheimer's. It's a nice community, and the staff was very helpful. The environment and surroundings was great, the whole place was very clean. The care that the residents received, from what I could see, was very nice. The staff took care of them. They have bible studies and they have activities for the residents. In fact, when I first went there they were all in a room with music.
