My father is in BeeHive Homes of Lynn Haven. It's been excellent. It's a 20-room facility, and it's clean, everybody has their own room, and they have adequate staff. They will come in and talk to the residents and entertain them. They hold church services, they have TVs and group sessions, and they have a physical therapist who comes in and works with them. Everything's good. The staff is professional and friendly. The rooms are adequate sized and clean. They provide you with furniture, internet, and cable TV, and the bathrooms are big, clean, and well kept. The living atmosphere is very positive. They have a barber that comes once a week and transportation. The food looked very appetizing and smells very good. They have games, arts, drawing, cards, musicians come in and do Christian music for them, and e are thergroup exercises. It's very well maintained.

About BeeHive Homes of Lynn Haven in Panama City, Florida
Here at BeeHive Homes of Lynn Haven, everyone knows each other and feels more comfortable spending time in the common areas and doing activities together. Our staff is able to know the residents uniquely. When we are able to know each person so thoroughly, we can better relate to them, better care for them, better cater our activities to them, and overall make them feel more like they are at home.
This is also the reason we have a 1:5 daytime staffing ratio. Compared to a typical, state-regulated staffing ratio of 1:17 in larger facilities, we didn’t feel like enough time could be allotted to each resident to make our good intentions possible. So we chose to increase our staffing ratio well beyond state regulation to make our vision of care a reality. Our staff isn’t just there to give assistance with showers and medications before disappearing into the next room. They are friends that give time and attention as well as care and its only possible because our ratio is so excellent. With typical staffing ratios, the aids are just too busy with tasks of caregiving to be able to add to the social atmosphere of the home.
Our Environment:
Our staffing ratio, coupled with our smaller size and open layout, creates an environment that is interactive, social, and unified. The many common areas are easily accessible and freely utilized by our residents. Each of the 16 private rooms has a private bathroom equipped with a walk-in-shower, non-slip flooring, heat fan, heated toilet seat, and call button. The central kitchen is open 24/7 and although we provide healthy and delicious home-cooked meals, our residents are free to enter and help cook or bake if they desire. We dine together at two large, sturdy, gorgeous oak tables that were handcrafted by one of the owners. These tables are also used for playing games and doing crafts or other activities, which happen daily.
Our Services:
- A variety of daily planned activities catered to our resident likes and preferences.
- Home cooked meals by skilled chefs from dietician approved menus.
- Family style dining at 2 large, solid oak, custom made dining tables.
- Medication Management, Reminders and Preparation by Certified Staff.
- Shower and hygiene/grooming assistance.
- Assistance with dressing, mobility, toileting, transferring and other -related functions of daily living as needed/desired per individual resident and doctor.
- Daily group exercise.
- Reminders for meals, activities, appointments, and other tasks.
- Linen and personal laundry service.
- Daily housekeeping and weekly deep clean.
- Personal Call System for any assistance at the touch of a button.
- Individually controlled supplemental heating and air conditioning in bedrooms.
- Free telephone use with unlimited state-side long distance.
- WiFi Internet throughout the home and in rooms.
Sometimes as people age, intermittent nursing care or physical therapy is needed. In those cases we assist in arranging Home Health to come in, covered by Medicare, to fulfill those needs. Also, as people age and require hospice care, in most cases, they are able to continue living comfortably and peacefully in their home here at Bee Hive until the time comes for them to return back to their heavenly home.
Dementia Services
Residents with dementia needs do very well living at BeeHive because our smaller environment is soothing and calm, easily navigated, and our extra staff are readily available to assist them with redirecting and reminding them of the things they may be confused about. As dementia is a vast term and each person is unique in their related needs, please call to discuss your loved one’s needs and our applicable assistance.

I toured BeeHive Homes Assisted Living of Lynn Haven. Overall, it was very good with very caring staff. I liked that it was small, and they only had 17 residents. It was the closest to me, so the location was good. It was well staffed, but it was just that there wasn't a specific memory care, and when we talked with the director, talked about the level of assistance that my wife would need, he even said they would not be able to provide that. The rooms were very nice, accommodating, and the size was good. Maintenance was excellent. It was a very well kept place. They were having snacks when we were there. They have a nice outdoor area.

BeeHive Homes Assisted Living of Lynn Haven was very nice. It was just very homey and clean. They do everything, all inclusive, so they don't charge extra for assistance. The food is included, laundry, housekeeping, and helping with bathing, or helping them get around everything. It's all at the same price. They were very friendly, very caring, and it was a nice place.

Beehive Homes of Lynn Haven is very new and clean; only 2 years old. They were great with my mom. Unfortunately, they don’t have memory care. But they were willing to keep her there, and they were just wonderful. My brother would have lunch with her every day. There were only 13 residents at that time, so the staff knew all the residents and everything went really smoothly. They had great people. She was there for 30 days. They had carpeting everywhere, and then they had outside where she could go out and enjoy the weather. It was not a big place; they only have 13 resident rooms. Every time I go there for lunch, it was the same cook and everybody enjoyed him. It was very nice.
