The people are very nice to us at Countryside Haven; they’re very kind and sweet. It has a nice, small, open environment. It’s perfectly adequate. They took our son who was a difficult patient. The staff waas friendly and kind.

About Countryside Haven in Palm Harbor, Florida
Countryside Haven is a 30-bed facility in a serene country setting. We are close to US 19 and all Clearwater/Palm Harbor has to offer. It is truly the best of both worlds: tranquil country views out the back door and shopping, restaurants, medical facilities and churches just around the corner as well as some of the nicest beaches in the country just a short ride away. The rooms are fully furnished with all utilities, meals and medication supervision included. We provide daily housekeeping and laundry service. Our chef prepares three meals and two snacks daily. Of course, personal care and assistance with activities of daily living is our specialty. Daily planned activities are available as is transportation to and from medical appointments. We also have primary care doctors, nurses and some specialty care doctors that provide in-house services. My experience with this facility has been very positive. The environment is like a home. The people are all friendly and get along with each other very well. It’s been the same staff for the entire time my dad has been there and they are really great people who love what they do. Lots of extra activities, outings and celebrations that they don’t do at other places. My father was in a much more expensive place before moving to Countryside Haven and he didn’t get near the amount of one on one attention he does now. The place is always clean and decorated with the latest crafts created by the residents. The staff is always smiling and helpful. The residents are included in everything- they help plan party menus, outing destinations, entertainment that comes in, they even voted on paint colors for the common areas when they updated the facility last year. The new owners are very involved and genuinely seem to enjoy working with the elderly. Residents clearly love and appreciate the staff and owners- I think that says it all!

Countryside Haven was very nice and friendly. We liked that they seem to care much about the residents, and we liked the location; it was back in sort of a woodsy area. The rooms were clean and nice. They have loads of big rooms and porches which are very nice, and the price was comparable.

This is a small facility, where personal care is top notch. It is more like a home rather than an institution. My Mother seems to be very happy there. Jeri, daughter of a resident
