It is a whole lot better than the other facility I was at before. I enjoyed it here; the staff is wonderful, and the food is great. If you want a diabetic menu, they have it. We go to Wal-Mart once a week, lunch once a week, card games, bingo, Banker, and all kinds of games. I’m in a small single room by myself, and it is adequate.

I went to Bethesda on Turkey Creek. They planned on doing a lot of renovations at the time. The price was very good. It's a little bit out of our budget, but ultimately, it was still reasonable. The size of the room was reasonable. It was very nice. Overall, the staff was nice. They have a library, but I don't know about an exercise room.

The people at Bethesda on Turkey Creek were fabulous, but the place is old and it needs a major injection of cash. They need to improve the overall aesthetic and the places in which you would live. I wouldn't have had my friend go there and it wasn't even super affordable either, but the staff is just loving and they were great and you could tell they cared about their people. They were enjoying it but just expect a little higher for what you'd be paying. They had a lot of activities, but not much in a way. There's not a pool. So, there's not a whole lot.

I wouldn't put my worst enemy at Bethesda on Turkey Creek. I don't think there was one redeeming quality to the entire place. It was just filthy. It was in disrepair. It was dirty. It needed renovation. It hasn't seen a paintbrush in years. Wires were hanging from the ceiling. The lights were out. It was humid. It was old. It smelled bad. It's terrible. The staff during the tour was very kind and she was trying very hard to sell her facility, but I think she knew that it wasn't that great. They had a common room where they ate and that was pretty much it. Their other common areas were locked off because they were unsafe and in disrepair. It's in a neighborhood. It's surrounded by houses.

I went here twice, and they had a beautiful room that would be nice for me. I like the view as it’s right on the water, and I have been in the water was a youngster. I believe I could fish out there; it’s a like a lagoon that runs through or a river. That should be friendly for everybody who likes the outdoors. There’s big trees -- really a beautiful place. They have a salon and bingo, and they have a beautiful cafeteria. They have a real cuisine. They have shrimp, salad, and gourmet line for lunch. The people were very nice; I met a lot of the workers, and they were very nice. The lady in charge was very helpful to my needs.

My mother-in-law was here before she went into the hospital. We thought she was going to have more care, but they moved her in that same facility to a different level of care. It's clean. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is good. She has a private room. It's very nice. She has her own furniture in it.

It was a large facility, there were like 500 people there. I like Bethesda, it was nice and clean. My dad would have had his own room which was really nice, but it was so big that I thought he would do better where he was even though he doesn't have his own room. That's okay because he was never in his own room anyway.
