I visited Lakeview Manor. The rooms were nice and spacious, and the staff was nice. I met one resident outside who said he's happy there. It's a nice place, clean, and everything. I've also seen the patio and a lake area.

Lakeview Manor is a house that has been converted. For example, what used to be a garage is now a room, and it's not proper. For people who need assisted living and who are in worse condition than my dad is, that would probably be okay because they wouldn't notice it. There are people there sitting and just looking at the ceiling, and they seem happy. I know my dad wouldn't want to be there if he couldn't talk to somebody about sports. The only positive thing about it was that it did have a lake view. The staff was very informative.

My mother in law had a 7 month stay in this facility after being diagnosed with OCPD and placed on a oxygen tube.My first impression of the facility was wonderful the smiles on the faces of the residents was radiant, they talked and chattered almost like they were sitting in a restaurant together enjoying a great meal almost as if they had no idea they were in the cafeteria of an assisted living facility, it was obvious that they were happy and felt comfortable. The rooms were full of light and brightly colored paintings were in all the rooms. The staff greeted everyone passing by with a warm smile or a wave. When my mother in law returned home she told us she absolutely enjoyed her stay and she even joked about going back.

We visited the Lakeview Manor Assisted Living Facility while researching possible places for my friend's mother to consider. The outside area was very nicely maintained. The grounds outside offer easy access for residents, where they can enjoy walking around freely safely each day. We could see that there is also plenty of space to have cookouts, parties and picnics. The foyer was fresh and bright with very nice decorations and furniture. All of the indoor rooms had plenty of fresh air and light. Each room was beautifully decorated and furnished. The colors throughout the building were soothing and comfortable. Communal activity rooms were spacious, with very comfortable furniture. The seniors can easily socialize, make crafts, play games, watch TV and films and participate in many stimulating activities. The facility can accommodate all levels of ambulation. The private rooms featured plenty of space in nicely decorated surroundings. All had a great deal of natural light and fresh air with very comfortable furniture. The dining room was quite nice, with plenty of space. The food we saw looked and smelled delicious. The menus all had healthy food options for all kinds of diets. Healthy snacks are offered all day and into the evening, as well as whenever residents request them. Seniors can use the exercise room at any time and also go on daily walks. Aerobics and yoga classes are also offered. The residents go on trips to visit the many art galleries and museums, eat at casual and fine restaurants and enjoy the many cultural events offered in the area. The residents here looked very well cared for by kind and considerate staff.
