I toured Brookdale Conway. The individual who gave me the tour was helpful, answered my questions, showed me three different rooms, and let me into the memory care unit. I asked him what the average age of people was in memory care, and he told me 82. I don't think he was being upfront with me about that because most of them seemed closer to 90 to 92. They had a courtyard outside the building accessible to memory care and assisted living. It's kind of on the inside of the square. The biggest concern for people, as well as myself, is the price. They get very hesitant when you want to get an idea of what it's going to cost. They tell you the level of care based on what the doctor says and what their assessment says, but they won't tell you what those levels of care consist of or what they cost until they do the assessment. She would need a minimal level of care. She is capable of getting herself up, getting dressed, making meals, and taking her meds. I don't want to put her with people 20 years older than the average age in there. Her memory is shut, but she still has her head on her shoulders. A few times that I had her in these places, her attitude was "Everyone there is so old."

I went to Brookdale Conway. The staff was very friendly. But the rooms were a little smaller and they didn't have the amenities that the other places had. I saw the dining room, which is also used as a recreational room for crafts and stuff like that. It just didn't have the other stuff. The one-bedroom room was 400 square feet in total, which is the same price as the other place. It was very clean. For activities, they had trivial nights, crafts, and stuff like that.

We visited Brookdale Conway. It's an older facility and didn't look as new as the other places I've toured. It was clean but just didn't look as fresh since it's an older building. The staff that we met there were very professional and the service was good. They sat us down and asked questions, and were very attentive, so we have no problem with their communication whatsoever.

I didn't like Brookdale Conway very much. The smell wasn't very good and we saw people sleeping at 2:00 in the afternoon. I don't know if they had problems with mobility or what, but we thought they should get them up, keep them active and do something. I thought about my mom and how I wouldn't want her sleeping all afternoon. We saw their assisted living. The lady who toured us was not the person that was supposed to do it. Somebody else toured us and did not give us the prices. I'm still waiting for them to get back to me on that. The staff who toured me didn't have much information and she didn't know anything about the prices. All we did was see the facilities and that's about it. Maybe they need more activities for the seniors and get them more involved. There was an art activity during our visit, but there were only about four of them there. We saw the menu and talked briefly with the chef who makes the meals. The facilities were clean but the smell was not very good.

My tour with Brookdale Conway was very good. What they have to offer is pretty much perfect for my relative. They start at assisted living. They offer more for the retiree than they do for just independent living. The rooms were adequate for what she needs at the moment. The staff was very friendly and nice, and they followed up. I liked it better than any of the rest we visited because the other ones were multilayered. Brookdale is just one single floor, and it would be easier for her to navigate that.

I chose Brookdale Conway for my parents because it was affordable, and we like the way it looked. It looked like a hotel. They moved in right around the middle of the month. I would give them a 5 because they're caring individuals. My parents love the dining services. They have laundry and housekeeping that they've been very happy with. They love the food. They haven't taken advantage of the activities yet. They've been unpacking and getting situated, so they haven't done any activities. They have a courtyard and a salon.

My mother is currently a resident at Brookdale Conway. They've actually been wonderful. When I went there, they cared more about my mother than the money part of it. They have been absolutely wonderful because my mother has been having a little difficulty transitioning over there. I have nothing but glowing things to say about them. This is all new to me. We put her in the memory care with the locked doors, and Mother had a problem over there, so they assessed her and everything. Now she's over in the assisted living part. They have been helping me every step of the way. Vanessa and Jeanie, they've been absolutely wonderful. Food always smells good in there, but with my mother transitioning she's not eating a whole lot, but they said she's eating, so that's a good sign. They have somebody who does their hair, or a salon that opens once a week. They play bingo, and they do paintings, my mother likes that kind of stuff. They have really good music all the time when I come in. They have puzzles, and they have an activity room and stuff. Even though it's killing me, I'm trying to get my distance from up until she gets acclimated over there, but I know she's safe and well taken care of, and that I know that's the right place for her to be.

The tour at Brookdale Conway is very good. We have actually chosen to go there. My mother will be moving there. My mother and I both like the facility. We like the staff that we interacted with. One of the biggest benefits is that it is close to my house and to where her granddaughter will be living. It is close so that my daughter can still check up on her grandma. The facility was very good. The rooms were good. Everything was clean. The room was more like a studio. There's more than one type. My mother will be moving into a semiprivate room, which has a divided area and is not totally closed off; it is two separate areas. Each roommate has her own closet, her own ceiling fan, and a wall dividing most of the area. There is some semi-privacy between the two roommates. There is a courtyard, and they have a reading area. There are three floor plans.

I like Brookdale Conway very much. The staff is very caring and very helpful. My father seems to love them very much and he's thriving. He has a private room which is very nice and clean. It's a nice community. We tried dining there and the food was very good. They take the residents out to go shopping, they take them on trips to the museum, they have exercises, movie nights, a social evening on Fridays, and all kinds of different things. They have a lot of activities.

I have a family friend who resides at this facility. I enjoy coming to visit, the staff are friendly and very welcoming. We have been able to share a meal together in the dining room and the menu had a lot of options, After the meal we enjoyed a musical activity which was entertaining. The facility appears to be very clean and free of odors. It seems like the staff have multiple jobs like giving care, working as the waitress in the dining room and giving the medications but they seem happy and interested in the patients. My friend loves living there and I would highly recommend anyone to Brookdale Conway.

It pains me to even give this facility even 1 star. They are only concerned about the money and don't be mislead, they certainly do not care about your loved ones-especially the Alzheimer's unit which requires the most compassion. I found this facility to be managed by incompetent people who did nothing to help my sick loved one. They constantly reassess patients to raise prices with no reason. They lack all communication skills with deal with the families making a very uncomfortable relationship. In the end, my poor terminally ill loved one was evicted like a criminal from this facility for no valid reason other they our arguing the constant extreme rate increases without any changes in care. Run don't walk away from Brookdale Conway and find a place that cares.

We placed my father-in-law into Brookdale Conway. We like it. Everyone is very nice. It’s clean. The rooms are really nice. My father-in-law has a private room. He gets a choice of what he wants for dinner and lunch. He gets a choice of menu. Everyone has been really nice. They have different activities, but I’m not really up to date on all of them. They have a movie room and an activity room, and they have a lobby where they serve chocolate chip cookies everyday or every other day. They have a man that comes in and plays the piano. They do have different people that come in and entertain them. The room is spacious and clean. It has a nice bathroom. They made it very convenient for them with the handles in the shower. It was made for an older person, and they made it more secure. It is really handicap-accessible.

My father-in-law is at Brookdale Conway. The place is nice and clean, and everyone is nice and takes good care of him. They have a lot of activities going on, like bingo, movies, and puzzles. They have a menu to choose from, and the food that I ate was good.

We visited Brookdale Conway for my mother-in-law. It was nice. They were very nice. I had an appointment with the director, and I would recommend it to anyone. However, my mother-in-law passed away, and we weren’t able to follow up. Everybody was very helpful, very polite, and very nice. It seemed like a nice place for anyone could be. The dining area was very clean, and nice. They had a nice menu for the elderly people. They did have nice things; they had movie nights and happy hour. They had all sorts of little things.

My father-in-law is at Brookdale Conway. We have been very happy there, and my father-in-law has been happy with it. They have a very good administrator, and she has been very nice to work with. My father-in-law’s room is great. It is like a mini apartment. It has a bedroom, a living room, a bathroom, and cupboard for a kitchen. We have eaten at Brookdale Conway, and it is good. My father-in-law is happy with it too. They take the residents shopping. They have bingo, and movies. My father-in-law has been a pastor all his life so he leads a Bible study there, and some of the residents come to that. He enjoys that a lot. He is very happy there, and he loves the staff. They feel like a family to him.

The thing that I liked the best about Brookdale Conway was it was just one level, so there were no elevators to worry about, it was not a multi-story. We didn’t, unfortunately, get a chance to eat there, but they had a new system with their food. They had a new chef; they had a master chef. Their prices were too high for my mom, and that’s nothing against them. It’s just not in her price range. It was very nice and in a quiet area with lots of trees. Even their smallest room -- which was a studio -- was too expensive for my mom and what she would be able to afford. But it was OK; it was just a typical studio, not a super large one.

I was able to visit Brookdale Conway. The place seemed very clean, but one of the things that bothered me there was that it was too quiet, and none of the residents were talking to each other. There was an activities calendar posted, but there were no visible signs of activity. It was too quiet, and it felt to me an empty hospital. The staff was very polite, cordial, and friendly.

We went to Brookdale at Conway and I saw that they need additional staff. Their patient with memory problems who just wandering through the day. They were going to other patient's room and disturbing those patients who are sleeping. They weren't providing enough supervision for their memory patients who wandered the hall and were disturbing other patients.

They're pretty good. It's not easy for my mother or for me, but we're getting used to it. It's not an ideal place, but it's OK. The room is OK; it's a studio, and it's small, but it has a nice window. The food is kind of repetitive, but it's OK. They have activities, but my mother isn't participating in a lot of them. I chose Brookdale Conway primarily for their proximity to my house. The staff isn't bad, the place is clean, and the food is fairly good.

We looked at Brookdale Conway, and it seemed really dated. We did not like it at all. The rooms were small, they did not really have anything available, and it was just outdated. So we did not investigate further than that. This is just an impression from walking around the facility. I did like the courtyard that they had, and if they try to grow some gardens and have the residents be involved in that, I think it will be kind of neat.

I've been to here. I pass them every day, and I knew it was a senior living facility. I loved it. It's beautiful. The staff seems to be very good. I didn't see any problems. The rooms were either an individual or a dual. Spacious. They were very good with a lot of family personalization. They have arts and crafts, cards, movies, games, books. I like that it was clean.

I visited and I liked it, and I liked the staff. Everyone seemed friendly and helpful, and I didn't see anyone standing around. It seemed like everybody was doing something. The rooms were nice and comfortable. I was looking at a bedroom, a sitting area, and a little alcove that you could put a dresser or a TV in. I didn't eat there, but the dining room was comfortable, and once a week, they had a special menu. The menus looked good. They had some exercise programs, some crafts programs, and games. When I went, they were gearing up for a Western night. They were going to have a Western Chuck wagon barbeque thing and music. You can hear the band coming in. They were doing some square dancing for those who knew how to dance. They had interesting activities. I was ready to move in myself.

I had my father here. We chose this facility because it's near to us. The staff is very helpful and very informative. They have lots of resources to help you with the process. The environment is very clean, and they have scheduled activities for most of the day every day, but I think they need to improve on their parking lot.

I visited mom here and the facility seemed nice. She shares a room with someone else and their room was spacious. I wouldn't call the facility exceptional, but I won't call it bad either.
