Please do not put your loved one in this facility, while the nurses and aid were fine, the administrative office is horrible.

My father is a resident of Westbay. I am very happy with his care. The nurses and aids are kind to my father and to his family. The director and her front office team are accessible as is the social work team. The facility is not brand new but scrubbed daily. The "community" of residents and their families are a most diverse group but are kind and fun to visit with. If it takes a village to support a 97 year old loved one I have found it. Thank you.

I MADE THE DECISION TO PLACE MY MOTHER IN THIS FACILTY A FEW YEARS AGO, BIGGEST MISTAKE I EVER MADE IN MY LIFE. MY MOTHER WENT WITHOUT MEDICTIONS THAT WERE VITAL TO HER HEALTH FOR WEEKS, BECAUSE SHE REFUSED, BUT KNOW ONE CALLED ME TO INFORM ME OF THIS WHICH I HAD TOLD THEM UNPON ADMISSION THIS WOULD HAPPEN, BUT TO KEEP ME INFROMED NEVER HAPPEN. My wife's sister was at West Bay Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. The staff was very good and very friendly. They're very professional. They actually did a wonderful job. The facility was clean and well cared for. My sister-in-law was in one room, and it was a very nice room. It was an older facility, but it was still kept clean and nice and well maintained. My mother is at the West Bay of Tampa. They have more Spanish speaking people than the other places. She has been in three of them, and they are kind of same to me. From a medical point of view, from the nursing and the doctors, they all kind of have the same kind of service. I noticed that they have activities for them to do. My mother-in-law has been in West Bay of Tampa for two months now, and it's very good. It's an older facility. It's very clean and doesn't smell. Any issues that we've had had been immediately resolved. The staff has been fine. The rooms are spacious. The bathrooms are a little tight, but manageable.
