Before COVID, I was able to tour Good Hope Manor. It's clean, the people were nice, and the rooms were clean and spacious. They have the same amenities that everybody offers, the three meals a day and the laundry three times a week. Not everybody has got their own healthcare, not everybody's got a lot of money, but my mama has Social Security, so for her budget, it's gonna be fine. The staff was very nice, too.

Most disgusting facility I have EVER seen in my life. Urine smell all throughout facility. My grandmother has bruises from god only knows where they came from. The administrator Marva is incompetent and unqualified as an administrator. The staff are all CNA's there is not one single registered nurse in the facility. No soap or hand sanitizer anywhere. Patients wandering around looking for open doors. The rooms are filthy, broken beds, clothes have stains, no clocks anywhere. There are absolutely no activities for the residents. There are no activities besides sitting on the dirty sofas to watch television. DO NOT SEND YOUR FAMILY HERE. THIS PLACE IS A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE.

I have been looking for a facility for my mom for about 4 months, and finally I was able to locate one that I felt comfortable at. I have been taking care of her for the last 12 years feeling guilty of putting her in a facility. When I stepped into Good Hope Manor I saw that the staff was very warm. They do care for the residents with warmth as their own families. Place looks and feels right for my mom and now I am happy and guilt free, can go visit her anytime and take her out and still enjoy her without any guilt.

This place is a mess with the people running it. After visiting my relative, I noticed the place smelled of urine, it's so untidy and disgusting. No one changes the people which makes the place smell so bad. The employees are not attentive at all and I've noticed that the administrator is either locked in the office or on her phone texting and the receptionist is so rude, when you call you can never get a straight answer. The management is the worst I've seen.
