My mom moved into Williamsburg Landing one month ago. The place is very nice. They tend to my mom's needs. Some of the other ones, which were a little smaller, didn't seem to give her the privacy she might need occasionally. And a lot of them she would have to have a roommate or something. The place looks very nice, well kept up, and always clean. The staff was nice and helpful. They provide three meals a day and some activity classes. They do have some religious activities.

I toured Williamsburg Landing. It seemed like a very nice place. It was very nice overall. It's very clean, bright, and cheerful. The few people I met seemed very professional and welcoming.

The physical plant of Williamsburg Landing was very nice. It has a very nice view on a canal or waterway, and it's very pleasant. They have an outdoor covered porch. They have rocking chairs outside and it's very, very passive and very comfortable. If you like nature, it would be a good place to spend a couple of hours in the afternoon. The guide was very, very friendly, very nice, and very knowledgeable. She showed us rooms and explained the activities and the meal situation. In general, they were very, very informative. The facility was very neat and clean. The rooms that they showed us were comfortable. I had a good impression. I felt very good and very comfortable when I walked in. It's far larger physically and more open. The public spaces are not small or congested. Absolutely no odors. The residents that I saw were ambulatory. They were in public spaces and they were active. One was knitting, one was playing cards, and there were two people having a cocktail. So, I had a very pleasant impression.

I kind of liked Williamsburg Landing. The tour I had was very positive. I just felt comfortable there and they seemed to be very welcoming. They had a program just to handle my wife for a month or two or whatever she might need. So, that's what I liked about it. It was a nice facility. Not super high-end, but just comfortable. It was all neat and clean. It seemed to be just sensible. The staff was very good and she explained everything. She was friendly and we got along well together. She was just pleasant to deal with. They did have a room that my wife could go to if that's where she was going to go. It was a nice size, neat, and clean. It was just a pleasant experience.

My mother has been a resident for 13 years and my family has come to know and highly value the staff and the care she has received over these years. We always know that my mother is safe, cared for and valued. Especially during the COVID pandemic this past year we were able to see their team respond with great competence and grace and appreciation for the families.

My mother found the need for assisted living in 2012, and we were directed to the Landing by Holy Cross Hospital Staff. After four great worry free years, she has moved to Hospice in her final days. The facility is so nice and personal, with outstanding staff and a great dining facility. Her room was her home, and she was very happy while she was a client. We can without hesitation suggest you check the facility.

We found Williamsburg to be quite nice. The rooms were large with the bathroom on one side and closet on the other side. The meals were delicious. The staff seemed great. The people living there looked contented and happy. They had a hair salon and we liked the place.
