My brother has moved into an assisted living community in Live Oak called Rising Oaks Assisted Living. There were a lot of people there who were his age and who could still do for themselves. It's not like a nursing home. They take them to the doctor when they need it. Only a week has gone by but he seems to like it there. They have a pool table and an exercise room. They also have a place to sit outside for smoking and non-smoking people.

Beautiful facility with a wonderful staff. Residents seemed very happy playing Bingo while I visited and were enjoying a snack.
