I live in The Plantation at Leesburg. It's been excellent. The people and neighbors are nice and friendly. There are a lot of different groups and clubs that you can join. There's a lot of activity. If you want to travel, like go on a cruise or to a particular place, they have a trip that you can take. We have live entertainment that comes in. We have a concert series, tennis courts, bocce ball, and a lot of different activities you can do here. The staff has changed over the past years, a couple of times. So they're just starting to learn. They haven't gotten familiar with what we do here. If you're in a group and you're sponsoring something, they have different food events that you can go to and we have food trucks come in. The value is pretty good. We have a couple of golf courses. Right now they've put on a couple of assessments for the homeowners. That's making it a little hard and purchasing a home and leasing a home have kind of doubled in the last year. That's one of the reasons why I have to find a cheaper home in this community.

The Plantation at Leesburg 55 and over community is a very large community made up of about 3,000 homes. It's broken up into several communities. In the community that I live in, we all get along and we have parties and so forth. There are plenty of activities to do here, including a lot of day and overnight trips to New Orleans, Tampa, other places. Whatever you want -- swimming, bocce, pickle ball, tennis, baseball, and basketball -- they do them. The staff is very friendly, and if they don't know the answer to your question right away, they'll find out the answer and get back to you. The common grounds are well-maintained. The administration is very good. They're very friendly and have an open door policy; you could walk in and talk to the headman anytime you want.
