Savannah Manor was an older property and didn't seem as updated, renovated, or clean. However, the director was very friendly and accommodating, and the residents all seemed happy. There were some younger residents there and it just felt more like a home. There are a lot of places right there that residents could just walk to, like a restaurant or a coffee shop. We looked at a shared room. It was small with a shared bathroom, but it looked comfortable and they could bring their own stuff and make it kind of their own. I wouldn't say that it was very clean, but I saw housekeepers cleaning the facility. The people there were so nice and friendly. The dining area was very nice and homey. The residents looked happy eating there together. It felt like all the residents were friends with each other.

We had a nice visit at Savannah Manor. The assistant director was very nice. They've done a lot of upgrades. I was more looking toward Mom having a single room at that time. They were doing a lot of remodeling and there wasn't one available. The facility needed a lot of upgrades done to it. The ceiling was dripping. They have a nice dining area, but the sitting room was very dark. It needs to look more cheerful. The residents seemed happy.

Savannah Manor is clean, but it’s an older place that didn't feel cheerful or modern. The staff who I talked to was nice. The rooms were small, and you had to share a shower with three or four other residents. The dining room was more institutionalized.

Savannah Manor was OK, but it was a little less upbeat and really dated. The people were friendly. The hallways were narrow, and everything was kind of chopped up. The staff was really friendly. There is a lot of open land around where they go outdoors, and they've got a fence so they can't get away.

Robert moved in at Savannah Manor last December 27th. What I like best about this facility is that they take total charge of what's going on with him. If they see something wrong, they call the doctor or the nurse. If anything is wrong, they handle it right away. The staff is extremely personable. They're really working with him. They take care of him. For accommodations, Robert is in a private room with a bathroom. With regards to meal they provide, if you don't like what they have, you can choose something else. For activities, they do play bingo but I don't know if they have anything else.
