My aunt lives in Pacifica Senior Living Forest Trace. It is an older, long-standing community that's been there for many years, and they have recently renovated the areas. The private room with the bath is a very large room with a very nice bath. It's clean, neat, and well-organized. I'm just having a lot of trouble getting their physician to call me and share some medical information with me about my aunt. However, I know that that is a contracted business that comes in, not the place's private doctor, and I find that the director of nurses keeps making promises to me that she doesn't keep. So, that's the only issue I have with them, but they take very good care of my aunt. They make a good effort to keep them busy.

We toured Pacifica Senior Living Forest Trace. The structure is on 70 acres, it's beautiful and very clean. We took a tour of the apartment. They're remodeling a lot of the apartments there. The facility was excellent. It had the theater. It had a dining area. They could go fishing. There's the pool and the game room for the men. It was nice. The people seem happy. What we saw was good. For someone independent, I think it's ideal. It's like a hotel kind of, I guess. The staff was wonderful, caring, and not pushy. She's wonderful. She took us around. She answered all our questions and concerns, gave us some tips on how to deal with my brother-in-law, talked to him, and covered everything that we wanted to know. She was just great. The menu looks great, and the fact that they had choices that if you don't like the meal they're serving, they will make something else, like burgers or hotdogs and stuff like that.

My mom moved to Pacifica Senior Living Forest Trace. The outdoor space that they have is very welcoming for her to be able to walk, not like she's inside all the time. The cleanliness is okay. It could be improved. She just did a yoga class. The exercise classes they give them, she likes, and she loves the meal there. They have music and singers. Everyone was very nice. The cleanliness in the out area is okay, but I think they're not cleaning the rooms. At least I expected the room to be sparkling clean the first day, and it wasn't. I think it was a rush to clean up.

I toured Pacifica Senior Living Forest Trace. They had a lot of space and amenities. It was older, and if you were able to go into some of the upgraded rooms, they looked very nice. However, some of the older rooms that they had not yet upgraded were a little dated. We were told that, as people move out, they update the rooms before they move new people in. They offer a variety of activities, including a movie theater and spaces to play different games and meet. Meals were provided twice a day.

The tour at Pacifica Senior Living Forest Trace was excellent. The person that gave us the tour was extremely nice, the facility was very good, it's very nice, and the lady was very personable. The apartment had a washer/dryer, it was a one-bedroom and had a nice kitchen. They supplied appliances like a refrigerator and a stove. The outdoor section was very, very nice.

We liked Pacifica Senior Living Forest Trace. We loved the facility that was located near a lake in the beautiful forest. It had a fantastic clubhouse with theaters, it was amazing. The pool was fantastic. The whole facility, the two restaurants, and the apartments were nice. And the staff was nice, too. We loved the location, and the staff was very helpful. The apartment has a living room, a kitchen that was well equipped, a little balcony that was enclosed in a screen, a nice bathroom, great size, and a big bedroom. The staff was knowledgeable. He was really nice, very accommodating. We were invited to have a meal. They had breakfast. It was just regular kind of hotel food.

My ex-mother-in-law has moved into Pacifica Senior Living Forest Trace. It's a large facility. The single apartment is very large. It's got a full kitchen. It's got everything you need for the assistant side, and then they have the shared side. She picked this single apartment. Everybody that I met was very nice. They offer a full restaurant, three meals, a library, a game room, a beauty shop, medical onsite, a cocktail bar, and transportation.

My uncle is staying in Pacifica Senior Living Forest Trace, and it's great. The staff is very courteous, very friendly, and very helpful. They have two restaurants, the first time he moved in, they sent us sandwiches and juice, it was excellent. They have a beauty salon and barber, they have happy hours, a bar, they have a heated swimming pool, a beautiful theater, a billiard table, and an exercise room. They have hangout places, and a library, they also have two places you can go for dinner, breakfast, and lunch. One is a formal place where you can go dressed up, and the other one is more casual. They have pretty much everything. There's a lot to do, and there's a nice clubhouse if you want a private gathering or a family gathering. They cater pretty much to everything you can think of. They have a nice walking trail, there's a big lake to look at, and they have outside seating. The activities are pretty good. It could be a little cheaper, but it's good for what they charge.

We have chosen Pacifica Senior Living Forest Trace for Dad because they have the full continuum of care available. We know that with the Alzheimer's diagnosis, that he's gonna eventually most likely need memory care. It's important to us that whatever we chose had the memory care facility. The facility was nice. They had excellent medical care available onsite. They include a number of specialists and doctors that come weekly. They have nursing staff onsite 24 hours a day. The price point is very reasonable. They have daily programs and a number of live events, including music and games and social events. They have daily happy hour, a walking club, and a beautiful clubhouse that includes a sauna. They have two pools, a workout room, and a theater. We looked at the menu. They have a pretty good selection. It seems basically like the standard offerings for most of the places that we visited. They have a rotating menu of options and then on top of that, they have a menu of items that's available for all meals. The staff was friendly and helpful. They showed us everything. We were able to interact with some of the residents and get a pretty good sense of the community.

Pacifica Senior Living Forest Trace was good. They provide three meals a day and they had a lot of activities for seniors, like shopping, exercise, and a few various things. The lady who gave the tour was very professional, very knowledgeable, and very pleasant. She explained to me exactly what would have been provided and what would have been needed. She was very good at guiding me through the process. The room that I visited was a model room and it was spacious. It had an outside patio or balcony. You would have to bring your own furniture apparently as they don't provide the furniture. The dining area looked clean. It had a lot of tables. They also had a beauty salon, a park area where they can walk, and a pool.

Our tour at Pacifica Senior Living Forest Trace was very comprehensive. Diana was the one that did our tour there, and she was great. She showed us through the clubhouse and through several apartments of different sizes. I was very happy with it. It's full of a lot of beautiful artwork. It's very open. There's a lot of large windows, so there's good light. The apartments themselves are larger than a lot of others we've seen. We're going back on Monday to try the food. They have a large craft center. I am interested in their water aerobics, and I'm interested in the book club. They have a nice library there, and it sounds to me like they have pretty much any activity that we would want to do there. The apartments were extremely accessible, and their layouts were well-thought out. They had a huge rainstorm the day before, so there were greenery blown about. It looks like they work hard to keep it up. We have pretty much made up our mind that that's where we want to be.

I've been to Pacifica Senior Living Forest Trace. It was nice, but the studio was so small, and the closet was so small, I think you can fit four items of clothing. For the price, I couldn't take that one. They had a lot of land, it's off the highway, and they had security, but the hallways were small. I only saw the studio and the one bedroom. The staff was great. I remember, the neighborhood was good.

They were all really good at Pacifica Senior Living. The staff was all super sweet. The facility was very clean and it seemed really safe, we really liked it. The apartments were newer and everybody's nice which is good. The location is good as well, it wasn't too far from things and it was a good walking distance from restaurants.

From the first moment my father moved into Pacifica Forest Trace independent living, the staff went out of their way to insure he felt welcomed and quickly made new friends. Whether meeting his new friends to socialize, share a meal or attend an event or inviting his old friends to visit have given him a new active life. The entire staff has been extraordinary. He enjoys everything: delicious meals; gym; beautiful park setting; activities. But I think most of all just knowing he can remain independent and still have support IF needed made all the difference. From the family's perspective, what sets Pacifica Forest Trace apart from the others is the staff - their friendliness and dedication is superb. Everyone has been so supportive that they have become family to my father. Plus the peace of mind knowing there is a 24/7 nurse on duty is invaluable. We are a thankful family.

First: The facility is beautiful and I do not think can be matched. Maintenance is very responsive and competent. However, There is a culture problem with some of staff. Dining - several are surly and one was abusive to me and others causing permanent and debilitating Injury to my shoulder and back. When reported to management I was ignored and not provided a means to report the incident Sanitation and infection control. Had sewer fly infestation for two years which was not corrected though effort was made Many staff including the director were nonchalant in proper use of masks and gloves. In addition they often congregated without masks in An unused dining room. Management was non responsive when Notified of problems Some Assisted living staff did not Seem to have adequate training. Manager was often brusche to the point of yelling at residents Food is overly salty, boring and repetitive Activities are uninspired. FT offed little during pandemic while other facilities offered virtual classes In art music etc I lived other places before FT and have no negatives for them other than being to far from family Recently provided my remedy by moving to my own apartment with private duty help

Special thanks and kudos going out to Indi, Diana and Claudia. They're going above and beyond to help me and my mom with her move-in experience last week, and for their continuing kindness, compassion and support. I know it's not easy to help someone adjust to new surroundings, especially during this time with restrictions having been able to visit my mom, and I wish things were different, but at least I know that she is in very good hands and that she is safe and well. I'm sure that we are all looking forward to better times, when things can get back to the way they were designed to be. In the meantime, I have confidence the staff at Forest Trace are giving service with heart and doing their level best to care for the physical and emotional well-being of their residents.

The apartment is very nice and spacious. The staff always knows my dad by name and they are courteous and professional. My dad enjoys dining with his neighbors, enjoying the beautiful garden and lakefront. He use to go to the Shabbat services on Friday night, sing in the chorus and go to the lectures provided by Nova University. The parties and shows and socials are all fun but he does not attend now. We have had family parties and events on site including two Kettubah signings and a shiva gathering that was hosted in a beautiful party room and catered by the kitchen.

Pacifica Senior Living Forest Trace is okay and the people are nice. My mother moved in there for more than a month. The place looks very nice, it's like a hotel and the staff is very good and very attentive. She's in a 2-bedroom apartment that she shares with 1 other person. She has her own room, her own bath, a big walk-in closet, then they have a living room and a sitting room that they share. It's the memory care section so they don't have their own kitchen. The shared apartments are the most popular in the memory care, then you can also have an apartment by yourself. They don't have just plain rooms, they're all apartments. The place used to be a resort, and the company bought it. I think they have some 2-bedroom apartments too in the assisted living that you could rent by yourself or if you're a couple. They have a room where they do activities and watch movies, then there's another room where they have bingo or play cards. They have an actual bar which isn't open the whole day, but they have a cocktail hour and you can go in there and have a drink, and a lot of seniors are lined up in the bar. It's very popular among the residents. The food is good, the place is newly remodeled and everything is nice. When you go in there's a security guard and it's gated 24 hours. They have a beauty salon, there's also a doctor's office where the doctor comes and visits the patients, so they don't have to leave to visit the doctor. A therapist comes in there for my mother also. They have pretty much everything that you want. My mother is into gardening, so when the weather is nicer, they would set up a gardening program for her so she can do gardening outside. And when she needs to go to a doctor's appointment outside the community, they have a bus that can take her and they provide that free of charge. It provides full service, and is one of the nicest places. They're also a lot more reasonable in price than other places, like a couple thousand dollars more reasonable a month. There were some issues with the staff in the beginning, but most of the staff is excellent. They're very courteous and excellent towards my mother and she seems to like them all. The one thing was that when I call the nurses there for medical type things, I don't get a return call and I always get their voicemail. They don't return phone calls, so that's the only thing I've had a problem there which is a big deal. So that's a little bit disconcerting. They have a pool, plus if you ask for it, you'll get a $200 discount like my mom did because my dad is a veteran.

Pacifica Senior Living Forest Trace was lovely, but it was quite large for my mother-in-law. The staff was very nice. The apartments were nice. The atmosphere was very lovely. It's even prettier than others, but you would have to go to another building for social activities. Her memory is not great, and we felt that a smaller building would be easier for her to remember where to go. They had a lot more amenities than the others, but it would've been a little bit too overwhelming for her.

I have a 1-bedroom apartment, with a little kitchen, a refrigerator, lot of cabinets, a nice living room and a beautiful bathroom. Indi, the Forest Trace Move-In Coordinator, is an important asset to Pacifica's operation. While friendly and welcoming, Indi was extremely efficient and detail-oriented in everything she did while ensuring my mother's smooth transition to her new Assisted Living apartment. Recently, we decided to move my parents to an Independent living facility. We interviewed and inspected many of the facilities within the area and decided on Pacifica Forest Trace. Interestingly, it was an easy decision. Dealing initially with Michelle and then with Indi, the process couldn't have been smoother. From the moment we first set foot in the facility to the actual move in date, we were impressed every step of the way. Indi, doesn't understand the word "no" and could not have been more accommodating for my parents. She truly went above and beyond every step of the process. My parents call me daily to tell me just how much they enjoy their new residence, how great the food is and just how special every member of the Pacifica team really is. What initially was thought to be a dreaded experience, turned out to be one of the smartest decisions we have made. One word comes to mind when I think about Pacifica Forest Trace and that's "WOW"!

My parents are in Pacifica Senior Living Forest Trace. The community looks OK, but we have seen some decline in services. In just a short time they're taking away things like the music in the afternoons, they also cut back on meals, and plan to increase prices for guests. If they weren't seniors, they wouldn't stay, so I don't think I could recommend them. However, the staff is phenomenal, they're the best thing about the place. The meals have declined and the portions have decreased. When we were there a couple of months ago it was so good, and now you'll only see a skimpy plate, plus it's not so good anymore. The facilities are a bit old, but excellent.

Pacifica Senior Living Forest Trace is wonderful. The dining room is gorgeous. The food is excellent. The facilities are lovely. The apartment is beautiful. I have nothing bad to say about it. It is more expensive than the others, but I feel it is worth it. The activities are great. They have a lot of entertainment; every night is something else. They're building a new theater, and the pool is beautiful. They have exercise classes, lectures, and local trips. There's so much there. It is like being on a cruise without the water.

I can't say enough about the employees at Pacifica. They are fantastic! My sister and I moved my 87 year old , very active, mother in last week. Indi was fabulous helping us every step of the way from giving free dinners to helping us find charities to haul away all the stuff mom brought but didn't need. She even set my mom up in bridge games and found her gals to eat dinner with. Indi sent up Ian to hang all mom's painting and set up her TV's. He was wonderful and spent a lot of time making sure everything was just right. Malcolm at the front desk always had a smile for us and was very helpful whether it was finding a Chinese restaurant that delivers or a ride to the airport. My mom loves happy hour where the bartender remembers the drinks you order. The facility is well maintained, the staff wonderful, the food very good and lots of activities to keep you busy. They also keep a careful watch on the residence and are very quick to respond if there is a medical problem. They even provided transportation for my mom to have a medical procedure when none of her friends could drive her. We are so happy that my Mom moved in to The Pacifica. She's safe, well cared for and has tons of things to keep her busy. I highly recommend this facility.

Forest Trace was very well-maintained. It seemed like there were a lot of activities; it would be very pleasant. It's probably beyond my mother's price range, but it was very nice. They have current events where they discuss the news, and they have a book group. They also have card games and board games, and they have transportation. There are some doctors there, but I think the residents have to change some of their doctors to local doctors if they live far away. The staff was very attentive and interested in my mother's condition and whether or not her needs would be met there. So they obviously were not just accepting everyone. They want specifics about what her needs and abilities were.

My mom is at Forest Trace (Pacifica Senior Living Forest Trace). It’s a really beautiful facility, and it’s close to my house. The rooms are nice. They’re very pretty. It’s more spacious than the other ones I’ve looked at. It’s very clean. The food is very good.

I visited Forest Trace. I took my brother there and I would love to be there myself if need be. It was excellent. Everything that they have to offer was excellent. They have everything and anything that I could ever wish for if I needed to go there. It would feel like I was living in a high-class condo. The people that I met were A-plus. They showed me a two-bedroom apartment that anybody would love to be living in.

The staff and the living quarters at Pacifica Senior Living Forest Trace were very good. The problem there is that the assisted living and the independent living were not separated. What happens is you have a lot of people in wheelchairs, walkers, and everything all over the place. The common dining area has a lot of people in wheelchairs and walkers, but they have a beautiful pool, a lot of rooms and different libraries. There was a lot of good things in that place.

I have a neighbor who stays at Pacifica Senior Living Forest Trace. She showed us around, and we became interested in the facility for ourselves. The apartment was very roomy. The food was very good. The staff we met was very pleasant and professional. The dining area is beautiful and feels like being in a cruise ship. They have a happy hour with a piano player every day for a couple of hours. They have a board in the lobby which shows all of the activities for the day, like shows every week and movies every day. Plus, they have a van that takes the residents out to dinner. It is a very active community.

My wife and I both agree Pacifica Senior Living Forest Trace is magnificent. First of all when we started to consider moving our children were questioning why we should make a move. They said "it is too hard to move, you have a beautiful place and why would you want to move into a Retirement Community". After coming to visit us at Pacifica Forest Trace they understood why we moved. They were very impressed with the staff. We said to our children we told you so! We are enjoying ourselves thoroughly. We are constantly busy morning, noon and night. We visited many senior living communities prior to making our move to Pacifica Forest Trace. On our first visit when we walked into the Lobby we knew we were home. We moved in April 29, 2015 and have been please ever since.

I stayed at Pacifica Senior Living Forest Trace for three days and two nights. It was beautiful, and everything about it was wonderful. The biggest rooms were there. They had two bedrooms and the size that we wanted, which was spacious. The community offered everything that was good. They go to malls and the theater, and they have a lovely theater there and a beautiful gym. They had activities everywhere everyday. They had very good food and very good service too. I really love the staff. They were very happy and very helpful all the time. It was a very pleasant experience. We did the exercises with them, and they had musical entertainment on stage.

Forest Trace is a unique form and friendly independent living facility. It was designed and built by a family that originally owned hotels and entertainment centers. They also have some assisted living facility setup more like a resort than a typical convalescent center. They have a dining room where they served your meals with a waiter. There’s a different menu every day and different things every day. They are very kind, and the cleaning staff does a wonderful job. They’re always disinfecting everything. They offer a lot of activities that you may or may not participate in up to your abilities. They have a lot of parking and many independent people there still drive. They have nurses and staff fulltime. They have bingo, book room and entertainment every night. They also have a beauty salon, nail salon, and a little store. The fun thing I think for everybody there is they have a happy hour, where they all come down and they have a cocktail before dinner. It’s just a very nice, pleasant facility with beautiful grounds, and a pool. They have a beautiful independent lifestyle. Every night they have something like playing piano, singing songs, comedians in the lobby, and plays and different entertainments in a separate building like an opera house. The food is really good. For breakfast there’s a huge buffet, and there is no lunch, but dinner is very fancy; they serve restaurant style. They have buses if they want to go somewhere and pick you up. My mother has a one bedroom. It has a small kitchen table for two, a refrigerator, a garbage disposal, a nice balcony, and a full bath. The bathroom has a special tub that’s easy for seniors to walk in and out of. Once a week, they come in and clean. The unit has its own washer and dryer, and you can do small laundry; very nice setting. This place is like a cruise ship. In terms of security, nothing has been stolen for the three years my mother has been there. It is not a memory care facility; people come and go. They have a gate, and they have a special permit. The security is not an issue.

Everything about Forest Trace is absolutely 5-star. It’s like a 5-star hotel; it’s magnificent and it’s clean. It is really nice there and amazing. They have bingo, a swimming pool, and exercises classes. I absolutely recommend the facility. The lady that I worked for is very happy there

My father is in Forest Trace. It has a section for independent living and a section for assisted living. The independent living has a lot of activities. They have a library and a card room. They have a beautiful dining room. They have movies and live entertainment in the evening. They have a large pool. They have a tennis court, and they have playing greens. However, when somebody is in the assisted living, those things become, I think, less important. My father has moved from the independent living to the assisted living, and those facilities are still available, but he is not capable of using those facilities, so it is not that important to him. They have different choices of rooms. They have one-bedroom facilities, and they all have private baths. They have a small terrace, a bedroom, and a kitchen. Then they have two bedrooms. Each resident has their own bedroom and bathroom, but they share a common kitchen and living room. I think the food is very good. In the independent living, they have 2 meals a day, and in the assisted living, they have 3 meals a day. I don't know what the breakfast menu is like, but the dinner menu has a variety of choices, and they are all quite good. I think the staff is very qualified, attentive, and quite good. One of the important thing is that Forest Lake -- for the same facilities and the same care compare to the other one I visited -- is probably 20% to 25% less expensive. I feel like it is a much more affordable and reasonable community.
