I am staying in Palm Garden of Pinellas for long-term care. It has its good points and bad points. There needs to be more aides all over this place. Occasionally, there's a problem here with that. We're having a problem with the food too. I'm diabetic but there is no diabetic menu so it is a problem trying to eat correctly here. The rooms are small and have two people per room so by the time you get wheelchairs in here, it's tough to navigate. Also, there's no privacy. The upkeep and cleanliness have gone downhill. The one person who could do it the right way had to take off for a couple of months so everything has fallen behind. Things are better now but it's still not up to the level that it used to be. The activities are nothing that I would participate in. Some people seem to like them though. They have painting and coloring but I would like something a little more challenging than that.
