It is very clean in Presbyterian Homes . The staff seems really friendly. I have not had participated any activities yet since I've only been here for about two days, but it looks like in June they have an indoor yard sale. They don't serve food but they have a community breakfast once a month. A city bus comes in and picks up those who can't drive. My only complaint is that there are not enough electrical outlets and the ones they have don't totally work.

We toured Florida Presbyterian Homes. It's a CCRC where you buy into it. Instead of being on a single campus, they own individual homes and they also have apartment buildings. They were built in a four-city block area. So, you have to travel a little bit more. You would have to drive either a golf cart or some form of transportation to go to the restaurant. Their pricing was honestly much better than other places. It's in a beautiful location with well-kept yards and homes. The one thing that I liked that I haven't seen at the others is they have a chapel, and they have an on-site minister. They provide a regular church service on a regular Sunday basis. The staff that I met was very nice and very personable.

There is only one thing wrong with this place. They keep raising the rent, for this year they raised it way above the inflation rate, and there is nothing you can do about it. Otherwise is a nice place to live, they do all the maintenance and keep up the comunity clean.

I toured Florida Presbyterian Homes and I would recommend somebody to go visit it. I thought it was very nice. They would require a big buy-in, but the monthly payment would be less and the apartment was much nicer. Everybody seemed very attentive, caring, and friendly. The place was also very clean.

We went to look at Florida Presbyterian Homes. We only looked at independent living and only the homes, not the apartments. We chose it because of the size of the place and the location. It's close to our children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. It's near where I grew up, and I've known several people who have been there. It just seems like the perfect place for us. The staff members are friendly and interested in meeting our particular needs. They have lots of activities, like a woodworking class. They have a swimming pool and several libraries. It seems like a good price.

Call button never answered despite pressing and then hollering for help. Unable to stand but told had to walk to bathroom I said I can not, should I crawl and Jeff stated that was not a bad idea. Serious pressure to sign forms by Jeff and Tamika, told would not do anything if not signed. Told can not sit on side of bed and have feet touching the floor, socks were hanging off my feet and hit the floor but Jeff still had a fit. Did not cleanup before going home..sent home sitting disposable bed pad and sheets were nasty the entire time. Was not advised of a 10 day isolation before sent so could go elsewhere. Then morning when Tamika called to have daughter get me to sign the sheet, daughter was told a nurse tested positive for COVID... why isolate me I was tested before coming. The transport driver rolled the stretcher into/over bumps on purpose and would laugh and say here's another bump. Totally disrespectful to a person in pain.

We visited Presbyterian Homes for my brother. It was beautiful, and it was like going on a vacation or a resort. However, my brother wouldn't appreciate those anyway because he was too sick. The facility was easy to get to; it was convenient. The staff was very nice. The rooms were very nice. They were bigger than the rooms from the other facility. The facility was very attractive, but it was just a little overpriced.

Florida Presbyterian has a large community. They have life care and they are rated 5-star by the State of Florida. They just built a new addition of independent living apartments which are stunning and they're on a lake. You don't have to be Presbyterian but my husband is an ordained Presbyterian minister. His mother has been there for almost 40 years so we're very familiar with the place. My problem is I don't prefer Florida. If we can get around that, that's probably the best place to be but it's not totally what we want to do. I would certainly recommend this place.

The staff is so attentive and willing to please. People tend to have this bad perception of assisted living facilities but I can honestly say that the facilities and staff at Florida Presbyterian Hms, Inc. are the top of their field. I truly believe that this is something these nurses and staff members truly love, they treat their residents as if they were their own family, never once have I seen any residents unhappy or wondering the halls aimlessly looking for someone to assist them as I have directly witnessed at other facilities in the area. If you or a family member is in need of these types of services go down and check them out. The rooms are clean and very nice they almost resemble those in a fancy hotel.
