My mom has moved into Lake Morton Senior Living. What I like the best about them is just the people, the atmosphere, and how they were just so gracious with my mother when she went there. They made her feel like she was just part of their family. I like the way the facility is set up, the events, and the activities. I also like the way they're fed and the way they're monitored. Just about everything about the place has just made me feel very comfortable with it. My mom has a one-bedroom apartment which is on the corner. It has a balcony overlooking Lake Morton. It's great. I would love to live there. I had lunch with her on Christmas day there, and the food was very good. They have a four-star chef, and the food was just as if I'd cooked it all myself. When I was there, they had Santa Claus come and they were singing Christmas carols and playing the piano. All the participants were there. They have a fairly large dining room. They have an event coordinator. They have bingo and movie night, and they take them out on excursions out of the building. All the time they have something going on for their tenants in the building. Their staff is phenomenal. I know just about every one of them at this point on a first-name basis. They all know Mom. They talk to her as if they've got all the time in the world. If my mom needs the maintenance man for anything, they're there. They have been very good to her. In terms of the physical condition of the place, it is very clean and very well taken care of.

Lake Morton Senior Living was lovely. It had friendly people waiting for the single elevator in the middle of the building. They had wheelchairs and walkers and they had to take turns. The only thing I didn't like about it was the elevator. The apartment was great. It was big. It had a little balcony with nice views because what they showed me was up pretty high and it had lovely views, but that elevator was so small and there were so many people using it. I liked the place. It was very pleasant. The staff was lovely. The outdoor spaces were lacking a little bit, but if you walk two blocks, you should be at the lake. Otherwise, they had a small lot. Most of it was taken up with cars but there were trees and it had a nice shaded area. They had several different rooms, one was the library and I liked it. It was comfortable looking. They had a gym, a hobby room, and a room where many people could sit for religious service. They didn't have a pool; I think that was why they were so reasonable in their prices. I'm not a city person, so the tall apartment building didn't appeal to me. It is in the middle of the city on a busy road.

Lake Morton Senior Living was very old and had dark halls. I just got the feeling of being in a nursing home rather than independent living. Also, it's an old highrise building that has roads on each side and a parking lot. So, there's no place to sit outside except in the parking lot. The staff was very nice. I enjoyed my time there. They were very kind. They have a library. The rooms were small and it would be helpful if there were washers and dryers on each floor. There's only one on the first floor and you could only use it after 3:30 each day because the housekeeping uses it. I wish they could have a place with more nature, perhaps a place to sit or a place to walk. There isn't any like that.

I toured Lake Morton Senior Living. I ate a lot there and the food was excellent. Everybody I've met in the hallways, everybody spoke just wanted to know when we would come and live there. It was nice, really welcoming. The facility was very clean and orderly. It was neat and nice. The staff and everybody were excellent.

Lake Morton Senior Living was just too small of a place. It didn't fit our situation, but they had very nice apartments. The staff was very informative about things. It was a very nice facility. They have a lounge, an exercise area, a general area where everybody gets together, a cafeteria, and everything.

The tour we had at Lake Morton Senior Living was nice. It was very nice. The rooms were bigger than I thought they would be. The people were very good. We did not like the traffic at Florida Avenue. There was no outdoor area, too. The staff who gave the tour was very nice. They would answer any questions. No problem with that.

My aunt and uncle moved into Lake Morton Plaza, and so far, it has been pretty good. They have a good-sized room, and they are happy with it. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. They have bingo, do entertainment, and different games. They have game rooms and computer rooms. They have outdoor patios and stuff that they can go out and sit on. They also have a balcony to their room.

I liked Lake Morton Plaza. I didn't like that it was a high rise, but I liked the way the little apartments were set up. They were really spacious. They were set up, so that you could put your furniture or store things. I thought it was really pretty. I liked the activities they have. They have outings. They were close to the lake, so you could walk down there and exercise. They had a game room and a library. They had different menus, but I didn't eat there. The staff was really nice. I enjoyed speaking with them. They were friendly, warm, and inviting. I liked them. What I saw was clean. I've been in places that smell. I'm very sensitive to smell, and this place didn't smell. It smelled like somebody was taking care of it.

We chose Lake Morton Plaza for mom. We liked the location and the size of the apartment. The staff during the tour was very helpful. The rooms were very nice and nice sized. It was just the right size for the things that she had to put inside the place. The view seemed nice. The apartment layout and the way it was set up were nice. The facility seemed adequate. It seemed like they were very caring. The people there were real friendly and seemed concerned about the residents.
