Its a tough job to staff a nursing home, but my mother received outstanding care. The nursing home, during her time there, received absolutely the highest state ratings. She was there for five years, and for a single minute did I not doubt that she was receiving the best care possible in a nursing home environment.

The Crossings may be humble in appearance but it is top notch when it comes to patient care. The staff is attentive, courteous and kind to patients and family members. The Physical Therapist and Speech Therapist are excellent. The Medical Director, Dr. Anita G., is an amazing doctor who oversees the excellent medical staff and makes sure that each patient gets the best medical care possible. The rooms are clean! My Mother is very happy to be recuperating at The Crossings and hopes to come home very soon.

After visiting several facilities and calling numerous others this was the only place I could see putting my mom. While I do think the facility needs a bit of an upgrade the staff is kind and caring which was really what I was looking for. I love the fact that this is a smaller home so it feels much more like family. I see the same residents and staff when I go visit my mom. There is not a lot of staff turnover either. The chef even came and made notes of moms likes/dislikes after he saw she wasn't eating much of her food. Very impressed.
