The staff at Lanier Rehabilitation Center seem to be very friendly and were taking good care of my dad. He was first in quarantine, so he was alone in his room; he was happier then. Now that they moved him, he has had two different roommates; he was not happy with either one. The first one wasn't friendly, and the second one seems to be mentally disturbed. From what I could tell, it's not very good for somebody that's just there for rehab. They had no activities, no common interest things that I can tell. Daddy was very bored because there was nothing for him to do. He's very unhappy, and he's getting more and more depressed every day. He's not happy with the food because they won't give him regular liquids. Everything has to be thickened, and he doesn't like the way it tastes. They puree his food, and he'd rather nor puree his food; they're just going according to the dietician's recommendations. The place looks nice and well-kept; it has trees and flowers. As far as I could tell, it has good parking. He told me that he'd have to wait for hours before somebody would come and put him in bed or take him out of bed. The staff that I'd talked to were very kind, and they're professional. From what I was able to see, the place looked clean enough.

I was there only one day the service, and staff was horrible. The nurse gave me some pills to take and I asked her what they were because those were not the pills that I take, she got upset and snatch them out of my hand and left me in the room. That night was horrible I was was wet and miserable and no one came to assist me. I called my daughter and told her come and get me because this place is terrible and I feel sorry for the patient that they have there. I will not recommend anyone to go there. I can go on but I don’t have the time. All I can say if you have a love one there please check on them.

February 2021 My mother came here for two rehab. They wouldn't let me see her 1st. 2nd She takes two medications at night the nurse give her 8 pills then couldn't tell her what the pill were for. The staff is mean unprofessional, dont have bed pans wants my mother use a diaper. She was in pain all night. Do not put your loved one here. If you have to make arrangements with your family so they can visits through out the day. Watch nurses give medication. The nurse wh gave my mom meds snitch the medicine out of her hand mad she ask what were she takeing. Watch ADL care, food, dressing everything ask questions. Room was nasty

My loved one was here for 9 days. After calling and informing the staff the she needed very close supervision in 2 days time she went from sitting and talking to being a complete zombi. Would not talk or even look at me. 7 days later she was taken to Mayo Clinic and was admitted in very bad condition. She showed up for this appointment in someone else clothes. I went to pickup her belongings and they were hot in her bag. I ask before I left and was told that is all housekeeping could find. I would not take a dog to this place. People walk around with no mask on but they make you put on a mask and a face covering to visit your loved one.I called many times for a check up to be told some one would call back and they never do.I would have give them 0 stars but it would not let me.

My mother was a resident for nearly 5 years. It became home to her and she was shown love by everyone there and she loved everyone. The facilty was always clean and smelled clean and fresh. The meals wer always hot and looked yummy. Mom was very happy and I have no complaints. There are so many that were so sweet to her but the one that stands out the most was Marcus G, the activites director at the time. He was always smiling and upbeat. He looked after mom and made sure she was taken care of. He kept her involved in all the activites and he always danced with her. His assitant Rosa was also awesome. She kept mom enterained and was always so kind. I wish i knew everyone names, but in geeneral everyone was so kind. I cant leave Erica out, she was amazing in the business office and always helped me out when i had questions. Sadly mom passed away in September. Thank you everyone for the great care. God Bless you all, Sincerly, Lisa Nell Graves daughter

Please simply stay away from this facility. The aids all hate their jobs there and it comes out in the way the people who stay there are treated. The food is worse than bargain-basement TV dinners. You are allowed to bathe in industrial type showers. There are no activities. Unless you are a TV addict or have a laptop, there is no place to go and nothing to do. For addicted smokers, they do have a smoking "lounge" that is not very comfortable or calming (the only good thing about this place, it made me quit). In a word, stay far away from Lanier.

I hope they changed because when my mom was there her laundry was full of feces and soaked and wet of urine and fell A few time That cause her to go to the ER. Until we changed it to a better place , be careful with the appearance of a place they may look nice but it's not .

They were very nice, good, caring, and wonderful at Lanier Manor. I have stayed there for three and a half years. The room was wonderful. I had a wonderful stay.
