My husband moved to Lakeside Nursing And Rehabilitation Center. I liked it. It's nice. It's clean. That's what I want, something nice and clean, not something dirty and you walk into it and you feel like you're going to throw up. The staff is very nice. They're very cooperative. They help you out and answer any questions that you have. They were having activities when I was there cause they came over the loudspeaker and said it. As for the value, I guess they're pretty good. I chose Lakeside Nursing And Rehabilitation Center because I put other people there. My mother-in-law was there a long time ago.

My father is at Lakeside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. They seem very caring, friendly, and concerned. The building is older, but it is fresh and clean. The meals are OK. He seems happier there. He doesn't even want to talk about going home right now. He seems really content there. The place is fully staffed. There are lots of pros about it. He's in a shared room. The rehab area is in the front of the building and his room is near therapy. The room is a little dated, but it's clean. The televisions probably need updating. The CNAs are not well rounded enough to deal with people, but the nursing and therapy staff are very informative. They seem to be good. He ate all the food. It's a beautiful building on the outside. The inside when you're entering the building is very nice. The activities were full and they were having so much fun the day I walked in there. They had those people up and going and everybody looked active. They have him up to the nurses' station. The nurses watch him because he is a fall risk. He was dry and clean when I got there.

My mother was admitted on 4/28 to this facility she was readmiited back to hospital on 4/29 after a fall. It was discovered she had a brain. I did not receive a phone call about the fall until 740 am in the am. The nurse informed me she fell between 200am and 230am. Five hours before notified. I asked why almost five hours the nurse stated she seems OK. Does a brain bleed sound OK. This is unacceptable.

My brother (Jim)was a patient at the rehab center. He felt it was a waste of time to go there for rehab as he got very little time doing walking rehab which is what he was there for. The staff was nice when I got someone, usually an answering machine. The room was very clean and never any smells at all in the entire facility. With covid Jim never left the room and was on lockdown for 14 days but left early because of insurance concerns. I would never leave the hospital and go to a rehab center. Bring your family member home if possible.

My father is doing good at Lakeside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The staff is good, and the food has been fine. They're providing long-term care for him. He has a CNA that looks after him. They should pay more attention to details and be a little bit more attentive though.
