My Brother, Mark is currently at Hillcrest and this is the 4th facility he has been in since April 12, 2023. So many reviews have been negative so I am taking the time to post a very positive review that Hillcrest deserves. I am giving them a 5 star rating because they have already healed 2 of his 3 bedsores, he is eating every meal and telling me they are delicious and in particular the chicken dishes are moist and easy to cut. Other places served the standard "rubber" chicken that was inedible. He has enjoyed every meal so far in the last two weeks. Prior to coming to Hillcrest, he was bed ridden. Hillcrest has been doing physical therapy that allows him to get to the bathroom on his own, stand with a walker and walk 60 steps now! It is amazing, the progress he has made in this short time. My family, Mark and I are thrilled with his progress and the staff have been so very kind, professional and helpful to Mark. The other residents I have seen seem happy and well cared for. The facilities are a bit dated but to me, the care is most important. They offer a lot of activities which is very important to keep the residents outside of their rooms and have a nice courtyard so they can get some vitamin D! His case worker, Corey has been very helpful to me with the info she has shared about Mark. I am only able to get there once a week, so I depend on feedback from my Brother and Casey. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU TO EVERYONE AT HILLCREST.

My brother was a "patient" there he was discharged with no prescriptions. We were told that they ordered him a wheelchair. Nothing. I guess the Department of Health will be hearing from me next!

This place is ran like a prison. I won’t leave a dying dog here let alone a loved one. Food is absolutely horrible. 0 stars do not leave anyone here ever. Staff yells at patients because they don’t want to eat nasty food. And the smell of pee is unbelievable.

I have been a resident here going on 4 months. Would like to say thank you to all the staff here especially the nurses who take very good care of me. And big thanks to the D.O.N. for her part. This place has a wonderful atmosphere and the people seem to genuinely care.

My Mom is there right now and they are horrible. If I could give no stars I would. First call there turned into 3 calls and over 40 minutes just to locate my Mom and her room number. There are no phones in the rooms. No call buttons for nurses. They make the patients scream for help and most of the time do not respond. Every time I call it takes 3 times because they hang up on you. When you need to speak with a social worker or nurse they just dump you in voice mail. If you have a choice do not go here. They do not feed her regularly. Nothing good.

What i could stress, and i wish someone had told me or i should have looked up this facility, is to make sure that no one i love or care for go to this facility. To use the word care doesnt even apply. My brother was sent to this facility. Communication was next to none. Before he was allowed to expire, i only got to talk to him two times and that is after over 20 attempts each time. When i did get to speak to him, he told me how no one would come when he would buzz so he deficated twice on himself, the room was small and they were putting in a third person, and even though he was sent there for physical therapy, he was only taken out of the bed for 10 minutes. There was not even enough room for a chair in the cramped overcrowded room. My brother was sent there on a Wednesday night and by Saturday night he was dead. I am not saying my brother was not a sick man. but due to the lack of "care" and attention to him, he died. I am Certain he buzzed for help but by time they went in to see him, he was gone. He should have been sent back to the hospital before Saturday if anyone had even paid attention to him or had the creditials to see how sick he was. My brother was on Medicaid. he was sent to this facility, whcih i am now finding out is known to be bad. Yet no one can hold them accountable. If you read this, please do not send anyone there.

Horrible, dreadful service, was there 1 week and had physical therapy only twice for a total of only 1 hour. Nurses complained when I rang for help, In many cases, I had to call their outside line because they never responded when I pressed the HELP buzzer. Most spoke in heavily accented English and were very hard to understand. And they were also very rude. NOT recommended under any circumstances. Their therapy room was also very dirty.

I really liked Hillcrest Health & Rehab. They're very helpful. They put me through to an attorney who could help me get my mother-in-law into a nursing home. They helped me set up a trust account to get her into Medicaid as well. They take her to the doctor and it's been a really good experience with them so far. They have after-hours care for them since some of them don't want to go to sleep at an early time, so they have a program where they can watch TV and play cards, which I thought was good. They make sure my mother-in-law gets out of her room so she can be around other people because she's sort of a loner. The food looks good and the staff is very good. The building is OK.

My disabled brother was here 2 months for rehab and his care was terrible. I found him sitting on edge of bed on several occasions and the majority of the nurses and other staff do nothing but talk all day in languages to one another that aren't English and you are subjected to listening to this unprofessionalism during your visit with family member who is being charged for professional care. Also someone who works for this awful facility filled out the reviewing my brother's stay not my brother or a family member. Don't place loved ones at this place if you care about them.

Hillcrest impressed us; it’s clean, and they seemed to have enough help. They have curtains between the beds so that people have privacy. The staff was very nice, and the whole place was nice.

I had stayed in Hillcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for my rehab. It was a very good rehab facility. The staff was fine and the food was average. During my first few months, I spent a good number of hours in the rehab department; it was an excellent experience. The only negative thing that I had with them was that at one point, I was placed in a room with three other gentlemen; one of them used to scream at the aides all the time and it was quite verbally abusive. Other than that, I still keep in touch with people there. It could also use more CNAs.

I went to visit my grandmother in this facility one week. I dropped in about 3 or 4 times that week, and each time the halls were empty. There were barely any staff members, if any, in sight. The facility seemed clean to me, but my grandmother looked very unhappy there. As I walked through the halls to exit, it was always very quiet, and I remember thinking, "Where are the activities?"
