I was a patient at Laurel Pointe for almost 2 months. When I first arrived there I could barely move. After 2 months I walked out under my own steam. The physical and occupational therapists were responsive to my physical and emotional needs. The whole staff was warm and caring ,the room and bed was comfortable, and any complaints (which were few) were promptly and successfully handled. I highly recommend this facility primarily because I firmly believe that the most important quality of any place is the people and at Laurel Pointe everyone I met was professional, warm ,and caring.

To Whom it May Concern, My stay at Laurel Pointe has been a pleasant stay. The great team of staff, nurses and aides and the best of physical therapy. I am thankful for the gift they have of servitude. I can provide more information if you would like. Richard

I have already done short-term rehab here in Laurel Pointe before, and they got me the farthest towards my goals. The rehab here is second to none. The facility is OK. It is a nursing home that has been converted from an old National Guard building. It is not fancy. The staff is great. They take care of my needs, they are very protective, they get me my meds on time, and they are very proactive. They used to have a two-star rating, but they had greatly, greatly improved. The care is excellent.

this is the worst nursing facility I have been to ,I went to visit and there were wheel chair parts laying in the middle of the floor even though I complained they stayed in the floor all day that day ,the floors are nasty the rooms are nasty ,nobody seems to know very much about the patient ,this person is in the rehab part ,you cant order your own meals so for thanksgiving he got a sandwhich ,this person is there to rehab his leg to walk and not on a special diet ,this person ask for a soda they said it will be a dollor fifty ,well after a car accident you dont have your wallet with you so there for this person had to just wait until they brought something to eat on his tray and drink whatever they give you ,the restrooms are dirty ,this person had no remote for his tv for a week ,the phone in the room didnt work for several days i could go on and on but this is not a place you want to take your family to short or long term care ,I want to get this person out of there asap there should be better care for these people and should be in a clean safe enviroment I rate this as a zero in my book
