I was honestly nervous at first because of the bad reviews this place has had but I couldn’t be more pleased. My grandmother received excellent therapy after her hip surgery and she was able to walk out with me when she was done, almost better than she was before! The therapists were amazing. The nurses were caring, compassionate, and so helpful. If we ever need a rehab facility again we will be going back to Deltona and I strongly recommend them to anyone.

My husband was here one day and is now in the ICU. They didn't give him the meds he needed or change his soild underwear. Took long time to come to his room when light was on. His oxygen come broke down two times. I don't know how this place is still open. Don't put your loved ones here ever

Think TWICE about placing your loved ones in this facility, especially for Long Term Care. Although, the skilled nursing team are awesome, the care that residents receive during their stay is unacceptable. There is never fresh water replaced, call lights are hardly ever attended to and residents roam around unsupervised with their chair alarms going off. Care plans are not followed through. The facility is unstaffed and the workers seem overwhelmed. I don't understand why so much management and very few CNAs. CNAs are at the heart of a nursing facility. If you don't have enough qualified CNAs, residents will suffer, as I witnessed first hand. I chose to discharge my father from this facility for his safety and well being. Do your research thoroughly before placing your loved ones at this facility. Visit off hours to get a clear idea.

I would of liked to know that this facility is a one star facility not three. They also have been raided by ACA. They are under staffed and unorganized. Run while there is still time. My relative's room is dirty with feeding food stains through floor. He has had several major accidents because he was unattended. Staff is too busy.

My husband is a resident of this facility. He is only 47 and we couldnt find a facility to accept. I live in Orlando so finding somewhere I could trust was high on my list. I am only 43 with 2 teen age kids, work full time and am unable to be there all the time. Visually its not the prettiest place but they care for there residents, they get excited when they see him making milestones. Before here doctors wanted me to do hospice no one saw the potential I could see, but here they do and since being here his bed sores are healed, and taken very seriously if they notice the skin breaking down. He has not been sick with a cold. He is really cared for and everyone is sweet and willing to help where they can. Im happy to say dont judge a book by its cover. If you have to place a family member they will be in good hands.

I have visited this facility and found it to be clean and seemed to be a very nice place. Being an 80 year old woman in poor health , I find it necessary to place my 62 year old son into permanent care. Having rushed all the required paperwork into their possession, the Admissions Coordinator named Dasia informed us they would have an answer for us very quickly. Today marked 30 days of no answer, no returned phone calls and quite frankly a run around. Upon finally reaching Dasia this morning, suddenly they have no available beds. This review is placed not to grade the entire facility, but merely to warn you of the conflicting stories and inadequate service you may receive from the admissions office.

Do not believe all the negativity. I stayed here to recover from my surgery and the staff is AMAZING. They took great care of me and were very helpful with my recovery. Rehab department is excellent. No nursing is home is perfect, but the care provided here is great. I will return.

Don't let past history of the facility weigh into you decision. This facility is absolutely incredible. Administrator, DON, and staff are all excellent. They truly care about the residents. I can't tell you how pleased my family is with this facility. Great Job.

Deltona Health Care was very clean, and the staff was willing to work with us. They have given me a lot of information. I was able to check their menu, and they have several choices.
