My brother moved to Blue Palms Senior Living of Deland. He didn't have furniture, but they helped him at no cost. He gets two meals a day and they clean the apartment twice a month. They have free road trips, taking them shopping and elsewhere. The staff is very up-to-date on what's going on. I tried the food, and it was excellent. The building is very good, and they offer quite a few activities. They held a barbecue for Memorial Day weekend for all the visitors and family, and they do a lot of things like that.

I toured Blue Palms Senior Living of Deland. It was wonderful. The staff was super nice. The communication was a big key for them. So that was important for me. The staff was amazing. We were just there for a tour and they were very polite and greeted us. They kept in contact with me throughout the entire process. So it was wonderful. The facility was pretty. It was clean. It smelled good, too. They were cooking very nice food and it smelled good throughout. It didn't have an assisted living feel to it, but it had a very nice homey feel.

I toured Blue Palms Senior Living of Deland. It was clean. They had activities. They kept the rooms good. The staff was good, too. They showed me a gym. They have a church, a library, a cafeteria, and an exercise room.

I toured Blue Palms Senior Living of Deland. I didn't get very far. Once I had an interview with one of the agents there, we didn't go much further after we did some pricing reviews. The interaction with the staff was initially very good. They need to re-evaluate the cost of living, and the cost that they want to charge for people who are on fixed incomes. Unless you have a very high income, you might as well forget about living there.

I toured Blue Palms Senior Living of Deland. The workers were very nice, polite, and very patient. I like this setup, but they need to do some extra work with the independent living facilities. The staff explained everything that I inquired about. She took her time and showed me everything that I needed. She's very polite. I didn't go inside and see the rooms. I was taken outside in the independent facility part. It needed some cleaning. I don't know if they had gotten around to it or not, but it wasn't up to par where I would consider that as very clean.

Blue Palms Senior Living of Deland was a fantastic place. It's fairly new. It was built in 2018. The rooms are also fantastic. The medical facilities are outstanding. They have a doctor on call, nurses on call, and they have people 24 hours a day to deal with medications and any emergencies that could happen. So, that part of it was excellent. Lea was awesome. She was very friendly and very thorough. They had a common outdoor area and dining rooms for each section.

We toured Blue Palms Senior Living of Deland. What I liked best was the way it was organized. It would have been a great place for my sister to go to. The apartments were nice, and if she needed assisted living it would have been a seamless transition, for whatever she needed was in the location there. What I didn't like about it was that it was so far out from where she needed to be. She had like seventeen different doctors and they're all in the Port Orange area, and there would be no transportation for her to get there. Another thought that was nice too was they do have a bus service, but that takes like Mondays to the grocery store, Tuesdays to a mall, or that type of thing. It's a set schedule, so she would have to Uber everything and that would be expensive. The woman who gave us the tour was fabulous. She answered all our questions and gave us even more information. It was a very pleasant visit. The layout of the building was great and the room sizes were adequate.

Blue Palms Senior Living of Deland checked all the boxes that the level of care my sister requires, which is three meals a day, they'll do the cleaning of the room, and the laundry of both the linens and towels. They would dispense her meds for her, too. They have doctors that come to the premise that she can change to. It was a place that I was willing to put my sister in.

Blue Palms Senior Living of Deland was very calm and peaceful. Nobody was running around trying to figure out what they were doing. It was very well controlled. They showed me a studio. It had a nice layout and it was clean. They had a chapel and activities room, too.

I can’t say enough about how fantastic this place is. My father just loves it here. He is well taken care of and is happy. The senior living manager is the best and takes care of everyone as if they are family and very knowledgeable. The activities coordinator makes things fun and lively. Food is good and staff is helpful and kind.

The staff at Blue Palms Senior Living of Deland was very, very informative. I liked the area and the place. The rooms were very small, but I guess that's the size that I can afford based on their prices. They have games, laundry service, a church, and a dining room. In each independent living quarters they have refrigerators, a stove, a bathroom, and stuff. They have transportation for both grocery stores and doctor visits. There's also a nurse practitioner on site.

Blue Palms Senior Living of Deland is a nice and quiet community. I love it, but I just can't afford it. The staff was fantastic. They have almost everything. They have a workout room, a theater room, and a rehab facility on the premises. They have free laundry. They are phenomenal.

My husband has moved here. He's totally independent. It was pretty good. Everything is clean. The people are very gentle, and the place looks very clean outside and inside. The staff is good. The communication is pretty good. They tried to help me in every step I needed. They are very nice. They have bingo, a fitness center, and coffee shops where they do activities. They have a club where they play cards. They have a church and a barbershop, and the gal can come to his apartment and do his hair and nails. The dining area is not that big, but it's pretty cozy. The people are very social. The food is, so far, pretty good. How much we pay is worth it.

We enjoyed the visit here. The apartments were of a decent size. The staff was very nice, and the residents looked happy.

My husband was here for a month. They were just excellent. They took good care of him, he was very clean, and they did his therapy and everything. They were very loving and kind and quick to assist you in any way that you need. The meals were good and he had no complaints.

As an RN, I can tell you, from the moment I visited this facility, I was more than impressed. The building was very clean and uncluttered. The staff was well trained and responded to my mother's needs without delay. Everyone takes pride in their job and they do their best to meet the special requests of each resident.
